Ending was so confusing ？ But did keep me guessing the entire way

I’m still in shock。 I don’t even know where to begin in this review。 At first when I first started reading I was like “what does this have to do anything” but it all ties in。 This book had me questioning if anyone was telling the truth。 I don’t want to give away too much but READ THIS BOOK。Edit: I’m changing the rating to four stars because I feel like one of the characters Edward was unnecessary and the more I think about it the more I find his part of the story dumb。 Still would recommend this I’m still in shock。 I don’t even know where to begin in this review。 At first when I first started reading I was like “what does this have to do anything” but it all ties in。 This book had me questioning if anyone was telling the truth。 I don’t want to give away too much but READ THIS BOOK。Edit: I’m changing the rating to four stars because I feel like one of the characters Edward was unnecessary and the more I think about it the more I find his part of the story dumb。 Still would recommend this book though。 。。。more

Okay so this book was awesome until the last like 50 pages。。。。it got SO confusing and complicated and just。。。werid？ I still have NO idea what happened。 I would not recommend unless you want to pull out all your hair！

I guess I have no one to blame but myself for picking up a book called Sometimes I Lie when one of the biggest things that turns me off of a book is an unreliable narrator。 I gave it 3 stars because it did keep me reading to the end to find out what was going on。 I love a book with a good twist， but this one had way too many。 I found it hard to wrap my head around what was really going on。

Really enjoyed this book except for two things。 The graphic rape scene was a little much for me。 Secondly， along with other readers， I was confused by the ending。 For such a great read， it left me frustrated， honestly。 I still gave it five stars， however， as I had a hard time putting it down！

I would give this one somewhere between a 3 and a 4 but not quite sure it did enough to get to the 3。5 for rounding up purposes。 It’s a unique story told in an interesting way。 It was gripping enough to keep me coming back for more and I didn’t see all the twists coming。 BUT， there are a lot of too perfect coincidences and the final mystery left me a little unsatisfied。 I really enjoyed the author’s teasing style but sometimes you just want to yell - no no finish what you are saying just when a I would give this one somewhere between a 3 and a 4 but not quite sure it did enough to get to the 3。5 for rounding up purposes。 It’s a unique story told in an interesting way。 It was gripping enough to keep me coming back for more and I didn’t see all the twists coming。 BUT， there are a lot of too perfect coincidences and the final mystery left me a little unsatisfied。 I really enjoyed the author’s teasing style but sometimes you just want to yell - no no finish what you are saying just when a temporal shift occurs again。 I enjoyed it but also found it a little maddening。 Which maybe fits the theme of the plot？ 。。。more

Amber is in a coma， and doesn’t know why…she also doesn’t trust her husband & besides her sister Claire he’s all she really has。 What happened to Amber & who can she trust？ This story alternates between Amber in the hospital in a coma to back in time during her & Claire’s childhood。 This is my second book by Feeney & she’s excellent at keeping the reader guessing & throwing in all the twists。 This was a super quick read because it was too easy to get wrapped up in what’s going on & wanting to kn Amber is in a coma， and doesn’t know why…she also doesn’t trust her husband & besides her sister Claire he’s all she really has。 What happened to Amber & who can she trust？ This story alternates between Amber in the hospital in a coma to back in time during her & Claire’s childhood。 This is my second book by Feeney & she’s excellent at keeping the reader guessing & throwing in all the twists。 This was a super quick read because it was too easy to get wrapped up in what’s going on & wanting to know what happened & what’s going to happen。 The only thing keeping me from giving this one a full 5stars is there was a bit too much time （for me） spent in Ambers head， and even when I was completely finished with the book I was still confused about a few things that I feel weren’t clarified or touched on。 I found myself really confused later in the book after some things evolved which almost had me going back and reading parts I’ve already read （I don’t love that）。 I think since the premise of the book is lying it’s safe to say the narrator is an unreliable one， plus the fact that she’s in a coma & has some memory issues。 So that didn’t exactly help in keeping things straight。 I will say I did not expect the ending whatsoever， always a bonus when I don’t see a twist coming！ Safe to say Feeney is now an auto-read author for me😜 。。。more

What did I just listen to？ This book was intense。 This book had a lot of twists， but almost too many twists。 It was hard to follow in places。 The narration was great， the story just took so many turns that it was hard to keep up。 This is definitely a book that I will have to revisit in physical book form to wrap everything up。 I will update my review once I revisit it again。
