“Creo que tanto si como los del resto del mundo。 Deseo ser totalmente feliz， como los demás， y como los demás tiene que ser a mi manera。 La grandeza no me hará feliz。”Jane Austen， muy conocida por su escritura donde critica la dependencia de la mujer hacia un matrimonio y la estabilidad económica。Este libro es sin duda una claro ejemplo de situaciones en donde varias mujeres con diferentes personalidades se ven enfrentadas a tomar decisiones en este tema。 Me encanta las representaciones de las “Creo que tanto si como los del resto del mundo。 Deseo ser totalmente feliz， como los demás， y como los demás tiene que ser a mi manera。 La grandeza no me hará feliz。”Jane Austen， muy conocida por su escritura donde critica la dependencia de la mujer hacia un matrimonio y la estabilidad económica。Este libro es sin duda una claro ejemplo de situaciones en donde varias mujeres con diferentes personalidades se ven enfrentadas a tomar decisiones en este tema。 Me encanta las representaciones de las mujeres que logra Jane， mujeres empoderadas y bastante fuertes， otras menos pero asumo que estas son muy apegadas a la realidad de la época， sin embargo también muy futuristas con las hermanas Dashwood。 Elinor y Marianne tienen personalidades tan distintas， sin embargo se mantienen fieles a sus sentimientos y no se dejan llevar por la costumbre del momento， ponen por delante su felicidad y el amor， y no Ia estabilidad que un buen matrimonio les puede lograr。Por otro lado la representación de los hombres es bastante vulnerable y en su mayoría sumiso， se les atribuye el rol de dependientes en su mayoría de una figura femenina。En cuanto a la historia me gusto mucho que está llena de valores y morales， personajes muy bien definidos， los amas o los odias， incluso podes llegar a sentir amor y odio al mismo tiempo。 “Yo no podría ser feliz con alguien cuyo gusto no coincidiera en todo con el mío。”“Ni el tiempo ni el momento determinan la intimidad， sino la disposición de las personas。”“…， no permitas que tu bondad defienda lo que tu criterio debe censurar。” 。。。more

My first time reading Jane Austen。 Even though I have seen many of the movies， they all got mixed up together， and so this was like a first reading。 I love the way she leads you through the relationships and how she reveals only so much from the characters until they reveal themselves。 It really is a simple story， but so beautifully written and with such wit and humor。

Książki Austen to nie literatura z która się polubię。 Jestem świadoma schematów które się w niej pojawiają， czemu są takie， a nie inne。 Za ten sam fakt szanuje ta książkę i ja rozumiem。 Nie mniej jednak， fabuła i cała otoczka towarzysząca tej książce nie jest po prostu dla mnie。 Ciężko było mi się wgryźć w fabułę czy polubić bohaterów。 Myśle， że po jakimś czasie ta książka zostanie przeze mnie zapomniana。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Momentan feiern englischsprachige Booktuber Jane Austen und ranken zu diesem Anlass ihre Werke。 Nachdem ich mir nun ein paar dieser Werk-Reihenfolgen angesehen habe， bin ich ehrlich erleichtert。 Denn meine anfängliche Euphorie beim Lesen von "Gefühl und Vernunft" hat doch deutlich nachgelassen， sodass ich das Buch jetzt als lesenswerten Beitrag zur Veränderung des Liebes- und Ehediskurses am Anfang des 19。 Jahrhunderts， aber nicht unbedingt als Meisterwerk einschätzen würde。 Auch die zahlreichen Momentan feiern englischsprachige Booktuber Jane Austen und ranken zu diesem Anlass ihre Werke。 Nachdem ich mir nun ein paar dieser Werk-Reihenfolgen angesehen habe， bin ich ehrlich erleichtert。 Denn meine anfängliche Euphorie beim Lesen von "Gefühl und Vernunft" hat doch deutlich nachgelassen， sodass ich das Buch jetzt als lesenswerten Beitrag zur Veränderung des Liebes- und Ehediskurses am Anfang des 19。 Jahrhunderts， aber nicht unbedingt als Meisterwerk einschätzen würde。 Auch die zahlreichen Jane-Austen-Hardcore-Fans sehen diesen Roman von 1811 als eher schwächeren Teil ihres Gesamtwerks an。 Das erleichtert mich， weil ich mir manchmal nicht wie ein kritischer， sondern wie ein nörgelnder Leser vorkomme， wenn ich allzu beliebte Werke weniger erquicklich finde。Am Anfang der Lektüre war ich verblüfft und demnach auch begeistert von der ironischen， frechen Sprache Austens， die ohne große erzählerische Verrenkungen und moralische Mühen Kritik an Personen und Zeitumständen übt。 Über der Geschichte um die Liebesaffären von Marianne und Elinor Dashwood， den beiden ungleichen Schwestern， wehte für mich spürbar und kühlend der intelligente Geist einer Erzählerin， der die verschiedenen Charakterzüge und Untiefen der Menschen vertraut sind und die sie souverän zu thematisieren weiß。 Die angenehm belebende Ironie habe ich allerdings vor allem im ersten Teil wahrgenommen。Im Verlauf der 420 Seiten hat sich meine Begeisterung für die Geschichte wohl in genau dem Maß abgeschwächt， in dem der erzählerische Fokus sich auf den 4 oder 5 Figuren festsetzte und andockte。 Die Taten der Männer Willoughby， Colonel Brandon und Edward werden als Auslöser für die wiederholten Beschreibungen der Emotionen von Marianne und Elinor genutzt。 Über eine gewisse Roman-Länge haben mich diese Gefühlsbeschreibungen auch gut unterhalten， da gerade der deutliche Gegensatz zwischen der expressiv-überbordenden Marianne und der zurückhaltenden Elinor Spannungen freilegt。 Leider hielt sich mein Interesse aber nicht über 400 Seiten。 Dazu kommt noch， dass ich Marianne und Elinor zwar nicht unbedingt als klischiert， wohl aber als künstliche und überzogen integre Figuren wahrgenommen habe。 Damit fehlen mir intellektuelle wie emotionale Reize， die Geschichte bleibt flach。 Die Quintessenzen dieses Buchs scheinen zu sein， dass Geld für Ehen das wichtigste Kriterium ist， dass Margaret als jüngste Schwester vorhanden， sonst aber sinnlos ist und dass am Ende schon alles gut wird， solange man akzeptieren kann， dass die romantische Vorstellung der einen Liebe obsolet ist。 Jetzt freue ich mich auf die späteren Werke von Austen， die offenbar von Anhängerinnen weltweit etwas mehr geschätzt werden。 。。。more
