Review- A fun new isekai manga in the otome style, right up my alley。 Mystia died in her first life and has been reincarnated into a new one but she still has memories from her first one。 So that’s the set-up for this type of manga and I enjoy it。 Mystia is a good main character but she doesn’t understand how her actions will change the world around her。 This manga is just like My Next Life as a Villainous’, but played seriously not for laughs。 I think it works and I would like to see where the story is going as I haven’t read the light novel it is based on。 I want to the meet the ‘real’ heroine and see what happens next。 If you like otome isekai stories then you should give this one a try。 I give this manga a Four out of Five stars。 I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money。 。。。more

This was so cute! I can’t wait for the next volume!Mystia is definitely gay for Melo and I’m so here for it haha! The friendship between Eric and Mystia is so adorable can’t wait to see more of them!I don’t get how Mystia could ever be the villian or turn into one! She’s so genuinely nice to everyone。 She doesn’t think twice about helping someone who needs it so I’m very interested into how her villian arc would start。

Formulaic FunVillainess is my favorite manga trend, and even though it has its share of cliches, I love it。 This manga is fairly cliched with a rough opening, but as it went back to the past, I liked it more。 There's some darkness to it, and the staff at the mansion seem like they're one step away from being yandere, but that makes it interesting。 The possible Yuri route is my favorite, even though she needs to tone down the yandere vibes。 Overall, I enjoyed this and will be picking up the next Formulaic FunVillainess is my favorite manga trend, and even though it has its share of cliches, I love it。 This manga is fairly cliched with a rough opening, but as it went back to the past, I liked it more。 There's some darkness to it, and the staff at the mansion seem like they're one step away from being yandere, but that makes it interesting。 The possible Yuri route is my favorite, even though she needs to tone down the yandere vibes。 Overall, I enjoyed this and will be picking up the next volume。 。。。more

When a shy, nerdy girl from our world saves a child from being run over, she dies only to be reincarnated as the cruel villainess in the Otome (Boyfriend/Dating sim) game she was playing。 in the game named Mystia Aren。 In the game, Mystia came to a bad end。 Can she change her future while still making sure all of the boys get their happy ending? --Okay, I admit it。 I got this book purely because of the title。 I mean, it's quite possibly the best title in the history of ever。 And it's dead on acc When a shy, nerdy girl from our world saves a child from being run over, she dies only to be reincarnated as the cruel villainess in the Otome (Boyfriend/Dating sim) game she was playing。 in the game named Mystia Aren。 In the game, Mystia came to a bad end。 Can she change her future while still making sure all of the boys get their happy ending? --Okay, I admit it。 I got this book purely because of the title。 I mean, it's quite possibly the best title in the history of ever。 And it's dead on accurate too。 Like you don't need a blurb, just point to the title and go "This! This is the plot。" This manga leans hard on the Alternate Universe reincarnation trope。 Hard。 And it's lovely。 Mystia goes through the events in her game backstory trying to make sure that she doesn't end up making the same mistakes that the game Mystia does。 And in doing so, she earns the love and admiration of several cute boys。 Most of this volume takes place when Mystia is ten and gives us an introduction to the world as well as Mystia, Melo (her maid, bodyguard, friend, and possibly more), Eri (One of the potential love interests), and Raid Nocter (another potential love interest。) It's a bit slow and the POVs do shift which can be confusing。The art style is absolutely lovely。 Stellar。 It is so good, y'all。 Honestly there were parts of it I wanted to blow up and frame。 It was so pretty。 This is a fun, shojo manga that's both lighthearted and serious at the same time。 I look forward to reading more of this series。 Four stars。 I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley 。。。more

Please Be Happy It has been a while since a manga has surprised me, but Sou Inaida has many lined up in this story。 The plot of this manga is as lengthy as its title。 So be prepared for a bit of a twisting narrative, as Mystia jumps through her memories。 Mystia Aren may seem like a normal rich Highschool student, but her life is not what it seems。 This is her second chance at life, inside a dating video game where she will grow up to be the villain。 She’s played this game before, and she doesn’t Please Be Happy It has been a while since a manga has surprised me, but Sou Inaida has many lined up in this story。 The plot of this manga is as lengthy as its title。 So be prepared for a bit of a twisting narrative, as Mystia jumps through her memories。 Mystia Aren may seem like a normal rich Highschool student, but her life is not what it seems。 This is her second chance at life, inside a dating video game where she will grow up to be the villain。 She’s played this game before, and she doesn’t like the fate that awaits her。 Instead, she will do her best to change as much as she can before the main character arrives。 Too bad she is in danger of making everyone genuinely love her。 Yes, this story is a bit of a stretch in most parts, but it’s more fun that way。 Mystia is often oblivious to the effect of her various plans to change the direction of the game。 Her biggest weakness being her big heart, and her own low self-esteem。 The characters she helps, such as her fiancé Raid, never actually tell her why they love her。 Which adds many layers of misunderstandings between her vision of value, and her fear of what will happen when the game ends。 Ataka’s art is wonderful and moves this story through some of it’s more complicated transitions with all the shojo drama a reader could need。 The outfits and character designs are over the top, and lovely to look at。 Young Mystia is adorable! There is light yuri in a one-sided love, and some gender bending。 The characters become more than the two-dimensional figures of a game, as Mystia values their happiness and gives them purpose。 Perhaps, in turn they may help her avoid a messy end。 This is a fun and emotional story about helping others, so they may find a happier ending。 。。。more

What is there not to love about this story。 It starts with her entering the school and that’s about it。 No, seriously。 The manga is a flashback of her childhood。 It tells you how she met the targets as well how she change their destiny。 Besides that, let’s take a moment to appreciate her servants。 They are loyal, overprotective, and one of them is a yandere。 All of them are so cute and endearing that you can’t help but love them。 Also, the parents are amazing。 They are very doting and overprotec What is there not to love about this story。 It starts with her entering the school and that’s about it。 No, seriously。 The manga is a flashback of her childhood。 It tells you how she met the targets as well how she change their destiny。 Besides that, let’s take a moment to appreciate her servants。 They are loyal, overprotective, and one of them is a yandere。 All of them are so cute and endearing that you can’t help but love them。 Also, the parents are amazing。 They are very doting and overprotective of their daughter。 When she threw her first fit, the parents cried。 They were so proud of her daughter, I couldn’t help but laugh。 In short, it’s about a girl who has a heart of gold。 She cares for her servants (who are like family) and her parents。 She just want to live a happy life that does not lead to her death or in prison。 In all honesty, I cannot wait for vol 2, until then。 。。。more

This was just so much fun。 I was a bit worried it may end up like “My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!” but it is different in many ways。 I would highly recommend this manga and I hope it gets an anime adaptation。Review first posted at https://twirlingbookprincess。com/ 。。。more

In case you didn't know, in typical manga storylines, the heroine usually has a romantic rival who fights her for the affections of the main love interest。 So how will Mystia deal with being the rival instead of the main character? That's a question that I was eager to find out。Firstly, the art is beautiful。 The first few pages are in color, which are gorgeous, and then like typical manga, the rest is in black and white with screentones to make up for the lack of color。 Next, the storyline was surprisingly interesting。 Instead of a girl fulfilling her wish-fulfillment fantasy of being the main character of an otome game, Mystia is cast as the villain(ess) and has to deal with knowing that she's not supposed to end up with the guy at the end。 One of my main questions was whether she would fulfill her role and be mean to whoever is chosen as the main character, Or, would she try her best to help the main character get the guy? This story was interesting from start to finish。 。I recommend for all fans of otome games or shojo manga readers in general。 If you're intrigued by the premise, I recommend that you check it out when it comes out in a few weeks! 。。。more
