This is was an interesting take on billionaires that come from humble beginnings and countries other than the US & UK。 Way more relatable to be hearing stories of people from India and China who go through very different societal and infrastructural challenges than people in the West 👏🏽。。。You have to be willing to pay the price of extreme success - whether it’s time, health, relationships etc。“Are you willing to make the sacrifice?”The first 20 years in business are tough - you need to work for This is was an interesting take on billionaires that come from humble beginnings and countries other than the US & UK。 Way more relatable to be hearing stories of people from India and China who go through very different societal and infrastructural challenges than people in the West 👏🏽。。。You have to be willing to pay the price of extreme success - whether it’s time, health, relationships etc。“Are you willing to make the sacrifice?”The first 20 years in business are tough - you need to work for it and persevere “On the way to billions, you don’t have time to enjoy life”“For many billionaires, business consumes all their time, energy, and thoughts。” “Big money limits you in your private life。”“Some billionaires go even further; they wouldn’t have started their business at all if they had an opportunity to turn back the clock。”Billionaires struggle from isolation and loneliness - few people understand what they’ve gone through - “it’s lonely at the top。”“You need to be prepared to accept the solitude of power”“In reality, money doesn’t change much about your ability to be happy。 It just magi I guess your personality。 If you were a happy person before you got rich, money will increase your happiness。 But if you were unhappy, money will make you miserable。” “Trying to become happy by amassing more money is an illusion”Money doesn’t give you happiness - it gives you choice 。。。more

The Billion Dollar Secret included many solid business principles directly from various business leaders that have also been written about by authors such as Napoleon Hill and other self development experts。It was an entertaining listen and the narrator’s voice was very suitable in expressing the ideas and opinions of the various business leaders in the book。 A highly recommended book for anyone focused on success。

A lot of great ideas and information。 A little clingy to read。Ultimately the book offers great insight and direction。 It offers a look into billionaires not necessarily known to the American audience。 He kept jumping between so many subjugate I had a hard time remembering who was who。 At the end of the book they then have a summary of the billionaires and a short bio。 This helps put it together。 Overall good book but probably nit the first book I would recommend。

I am a long time serial entrepreneur - over 40 years and a student of wealth creation since reading Think & Grow Rich in 1973 in grad school! Life changing book。I consider Rafel as the new 21st century Napoleon Hill and have read and even re-reading this fascinating informative book with numerous BILLIONAIRES I have not even heard of。 He just emailed me to let me know he is writing a second book on strategies of BILLIONAIRES which I hope is as GREAT as this one!Hugh Billionaire In Progress 😁

Good book。 Motivating, encouraging and practical。

More than the usual success platitudes, the author personally interviewed 20 self-made billionaires, including some fairly obscure ones who came from stark poverty, to determine the qualities and the mindset that allowed them to achieve such massive financial success。 Good stuff on entrepreneurship and the success mindset。

This has to be one of my favourite books of this year that I have read。 To get into the minds of actual billionaires and get facts straight from them on sales, business, lifestyle and life is truly inspiring。Anybody who wants to achieve success and wealth this is a book that you must truly read。

I'm disappointed with this book。 I can see the real value in first hand information about billionaires, what they consider important and that's the strong side of this book (and I do agree it does better job in terms diversity than Napoleon, and obviously it's more up to date)。What I didn't like though is the general format of this book where in each chapter author tries to extract some life tips that he extracted from the interviews。 While many of them sounds like decent thing to thing about, t I'm disappointed with this book。 I can see the real value in first hand information about billionaires, what they consider important and that's the strong side of this book (and I do agree it does better job in terms diversity than Napoleon, and obviously it's more up to date)。What I didn't like though is the general format of this book where in each chapter author tries to extract some life tips that he extracted from the interviews。 While many of them sounds like decent thing to thing about, they don't seem to be anything new, and reading it sound like 'cheap self development advices of do this and that and that'。 I also have an impression, based on what I learnt about the author that his personality is suited to these kind of advices (fight, compete, be strong, try hard, be hard) - these are traits but I fear a bit of potential confirmation biases that could work in the interviews (but hopefully not)。 At the end of each chapter there is summary of what 3 categories of people does in context of given chapter, and these catagories are "Drifters" / "Millionaires" / "Billionaires"。 Drifters description are mostly negative yet it's 99% people on earth and I found this not nice treatment, and cheap oversimplification。I liked the chapter about happiness。 In general I'm clear not I do not want to be a billionaire。 And that I can learn some things from them anyway。 。。。more

Life Changing and Excellent。 If you want to build incredible wealth or want to know how it is done, this book has practical first-hand information。 I only wish this book would have been around when I started out in my journey as it would have saved me time, effort, energy, years and mistakes。 I am applying many of the practical concepts Badziag presents in his book to investments and companies。 I give this book my highest recommendation。
