I enjoy this book very much。 These books are perfect for young readers, or adults willing to embrace their childish side for a few hours。 I didn't love this one, but I certainly liked it。 I enjoy this book very much。 These books are perfect for young readers, or adults willing to embrace their childish side for a few hours。 I didn't love this one, but I certainly liked it。 。。。more

Like all the other Diary of a Wimpy Kid books I think that they are funny books I read through multiple years of my childhood and have always loved like almost every other kid and I would recommend even though I read them in the complete wrong order。

I think this book as well as the other books in this series was great。 It has a good sense of humor while maintaining a decent storyline。 Greg is always clumsy as usual, with everything going wrong。 I think humor is a little dry but everyone has a different sense of humor。 I recommend this book to all ages if you are just starting to read this would be good。

I thought by now I would get tired of Greg and his crazy shenanigans but I haven’t。 I’m about to jump into the next book and maybe even finish it。 Who knows!

I loved the book, although overall the best part to me was in the end when Greg and Rowley were doing a T。V。 show and the worms came out and in the middle when everybody was being nice to Greg's mom。 My rating would be a 5/5 because I love the adventures and activities they do in the book and how it was made overall。 I loved the book, although overall the best part to me was in the end when Greg and Rowley were doing a T。V。 show and the worms came out and in the middle when everybody was being nice to Greg's mom。 My rating would be a 5/5 because I love the adventures and activities they do in the book and how it was made overall。 。。。more

I like double down because it is funny and in most books and stuff like that they make the good guys win but in dairy of a wimpy kid Greg ends up doing chores。 I am a 📖 🤓 (book nerd)

Yikes。 Perhaps 10 was a good cut off point for the series。 Greg and Rowley make a home movie about gummy worms attacking, along with a few other disconnected plot threads。 A scary plot indeed。

About a kid named Greg who goes through his life as a middle schooler

9th book of the year out of 104。 The book was good。 I am looking forwards to read move of the series。

Started off a bit slow and boring, but once you get into the book it is full of laughs。 It was a nice easy read that made me laugh。 I thought I had grown out of these books, but even at 17 I was laughing。 I wanted to read it as DOAWK was a big part of my childhood and the nostalgia was nice。

A bit boring at some point, I legit hate ‘if it would happen, this will happen’ and ‘this happened before and that thing occurred as a consequence’ ahhhh totally lame。 But before having a full stop, let’s dig the surface。 I was expecting some big scene in Halloween but author molded the central scene into some animal thing with movie making。 I could not connect the dots, except for the witch plastic toy。

In this book, the main character Greg tries to find a way to make himself money so he can attempt to buy whatever his parents won't。 When he can't find any money to buy candy, he enters a competition to win a whole jar of candy。 So he releases a balloon with a letter and a note(part of the contest) and hopes that he can get his balloon back。 He does, but the kid who gives it back to him isn't someone Greg would consider a friend or someone he would hang out with, but his mom believes otherwise。 In this book, the main character Greg tries to find a way to make himself money so he can attempt to buy whatever his parents won't。 When he can't find any money to buy candy, he enters a competition to win a whole jar of candy。 So he releases a balloon with a letter and a note(part of the contest) and hopes that he can get his balloon back。 He does, but the kid who gives it back to him isn't someone Greg would consider a friend or someone he would hang out with, but his mom believes otherwise。 She tries to get them to hang out but in the end fails and is disappointed in Greg for not finding more friends whom she calls a good influence。 After Greg's encounter, he finally gets his balloon and wins the candy。 Eventually he hides the candy only for the family pet pig to get into his hiding spot, eat the candy, and get sick。 When he and his brother Rodrick try to drive the pig to a vet, it throws up and they have to call their mom to come and help them。 This doesn't help Greg's situation and she believes that Greg cannot be trusted。 Near the end of the story, Greg decides that he will pair up with his friend Rowley to make a movie。 They make a movie about killer worms, and try to make this movie with a budget of no money at all。 Their attempt at making this movie ends up with Rowley getting saved in a comical way of getting stuck in a tree because he was attacked by geese。 When Rowley becomes famous in the end, Greg decides to lay low in life and be satisfied with what he is given。 。。。more

Unfortunately, as of yet, undoubtedly the worst book in the series。 Simply because there was just no actual story, nothing really happened。 Mostly Greg's thoughts and musings going on and on and on, he and Rowley goofing off, and that's about it。 Couple of situations did make me gave out a little "Heh" chuckles, but that's far from those laugh out loud guffaws reading the previous brilliant ones。 Hopefully this was only a single misstep, and the nexts going to be right back on track。 Unfortunately, as of yet, undoubtedly the worst book in the series。 Simply because there was just no actual story, nothing really happened。 Mostly Greg's thoughts and musings going on and on and on, he and Rowley goofing off, and that's about it。 Couple of situations did make me gave out a little "Heh" chuckles, but that's far from those laugh out loud guffaws reading the previous brilliant ones。 Hopefully this was only a single misstep, and the nexts going to be right back on track。 。。。more
