2020 Read #447If these characters were just HONEST with each other, the series would have been much more concise and tolerable, I think。 As it is — everyone’s pretty awful, no ways around it。

This one is getting more into the melodrama part now。 There is less fan service, though still some。 The emotional toll is coming out as well as Yuma's confusion。 Hotaru is still an enigma。 That look in her eyes when she is talking to Yuma。。。 Is she lesbian as well or does she feel sad for her or??? It's still mostly a time killer, trashy kind of work but it is decent。 This one is getting more into the melodrama part now。 There is less fan service, though still some。 The emotional toll is coming out as well as Yuma's confusion。 Hotaru is still an enigma。 That look in her eyes when she is talking to Yuma。。。 Is she lesbian as well or does she feel sad for her or??? The story these last two volumes has become a bit more coherent and compelling than previous entries。 There is more emotional depth in watching the main character feel more and more frustrated as she is jerked around by her friend, whose motivations are still a mystery, but who we begin to suspect is just a user with no compassion, rather than a broken person with difficulty expressing herself。 The "artificial drama" disappears until the last page of this book, leaving us a cliffhanger that may The story these last two volumes has become a bit more coherent and compelling than previous entries。 There is more emotional depth in watching the main character feel more and more frustrated as she is jerked around by her friend, whose motivations are still a mystery, but who we begin to suspect is just a user with no compassion, rather than a broken person with difficulty expressing herself。 The "artificial drama" disappears until the last page of this book, leaving us a cliffhanger that may take the story back into melodrama, or may force a resolution。 Regardless, it's become an interesting tale that deviates from the usual feel-good yuri tropes。 。。。more
