I feel bad for giving this book such a low rating but for some reason it took me a couple of months to get it done。 My brother raved about it in audio books so I was excited to read it and I didn't really get the same feeling as him。 I found the material believable and it made sense and from my limited perspective it mimicked many of my beliefs， however the on and on about 1 person in each chapter and all the spirits and people weighing in on the topic in relation to the person was a bit much fo I feel bad for giving this book such a low rating but for some reason it took me a couple of months to get it done。 My brother raved about it in audio books so I was excited to read it and I didn't really get the same feeling as him。 I found the material believable and it made sense and from my limited perspective it mimicked many of my beliefs， however the on and on about 1 person in each chapter and all the spirits and people weighing in on the topic in relation to the person was a bit much for me。 I think for me that it would have been less onerous if there were multiple stories and more of a breakup of people under each heading。 The headings included topics as drug addiction， miscarriage， suicide， rape， etc。 The purpose was to get to the reasons why these things happened in each person's life and what the soul needed to learn from those experiences。 While reading a lot of things resonated for me and made a lot of sense。 Some concepts I hadn't heard about before but hearing about them for the first time， many of them made some sort of sense to me。All in all， it was interesting but I think the book could either have been shorter or could have included more people's stories and how they fit into the topics。 I will read the author's other book as this one didn't turn me off of never reading his books again。 I hope that book will be more concise and to the point。 。。。more
