I have read this so many times this week that I can recite it word for word。Good thing its enjoyable to create different voices for all of the characters when reading it aloud to small children。（They also absolutely love when the gingerbread man gets eaten at the end？）

This is a perfect story to introduce children to fairy tales。 It is full of rhyming and rhythm。 This is based on the traditional fairy tale and is full of vibrant illustrations。You could use this book in a Math unit and find a recipe to go with it。 Then let the children help measure everything that needs to go into baking ginger bread。
