Daytime Shooting Star ⭐️✨pre-review: I'm not sure if I'll like this one (because of the trope), but I still want to give it a try!✨review:Umm holy smokes, this is actually really good。 For one, the MC Suzume takes no shit, which I really appreciate *looking at you other shoujo mcs*。 And all of the characters in the story are likeable and realistic。 This is a solid shoujo series that I might just have to pick up a copy of for my own collection!✨rating: 4。25 Daytime Shooting Stars out of 5 Daytime Shooting Star ⭐️✨pre-review: I'm not sure if I'll like this one (because of the trope), but I still want to give it a try!✨review:Umm holy smokes, this is actually really good。 For one, the MC Suzume takes no shit, which I really appreciate *looking at you other shoujo mcs*。 And all of the characters in the story are likeable and realistic。 This is a solid shoujo series that I might just have to pick up a copy of for my own collection!✨rating: 4。25 Daytime Shooting Stars out of 5 。。。more

I probably should have read the synopsis a little closer。 Not the biggest fan of this student x teacher thing that's going on。 Like, if it was clearly one sided, okay, who hasn't had a crush on one of their younger teachers before? But this guy seems a little too invested in Suzume and it's a little off putting。 This first volume seems a little too rushed in every aspect but the developing relationship with Suzume and her teacher。 Not sure if I'm going to continue this one or not。 I probably should have read the synopsis a little closer。 Not the biggest fan of this student x teacher thing that's going on。 Like, if it was clearly one sided, okay, who hasn't had a crush on one of their younger teachers before? It has been ages since I last read this series, but I vividly remember this being one of my favourite shoujo manga series。 The art style is just so pretty, and Yosano, hands down, is one of the better shoujo heroines out there。 Also, this really was a very strong first volume。 We get an introduction of all the major characters, our main characters personality is well fleshed out, and she is blunt, carefree, and hopelessly naive。 I am honestly shocked this series has yet to get an anime, because It has been ages since I last read this series, but I vividly remember this being one of my favourite shoujo manga series。 The art style is just so pretty, and Yosano, hands down, is one of the better shoujo heroines out there。 Also, this really was a very strong first volume。 We get an introduction of all the major characters, our main characters personality is well fleshed out, and she is blunt, carefree, and hopelessly naive。 I am honestly shocked this series has yet to get an anime, because it really does get better and better。 For those who are hesitant to start this series because of the student/teacher relationship dynamic, don't be。 Yes, she has a crush on her teacher, and, yes, (view spoiler)[if I remember correctly, the teacher sort of develops feelings for her (hide spoiler)], but things do not turn out the way you are probably thinking。 That's probably why I liked this series so much, and I am glad I picked it up again。 。。。more

I was shown this series by a friend, and this is truly one of my favorite manga series! The characters are so cute and the storyline develops at a nice pace。 I love all of the characters in the book, and if you continue reading past this volume, you will love the ones you thought you might not。First is our adorable and highly relatable main character。 She makes it so easy to fit into her shoes because she is made so familiarly and is built so that you can mold her to fit you。 She is precious! Her I was shown this series by a friend, and this is truly one of my favorite manga series! At first blush, it’s super cute! But I get the feeling there’s going to be an inappropriate relationship down the line and I really don’t want to read about that。 So I’ll have to pass。

This is my favorite manga series of all time by far; I've read Daytime Shooting Star at least 10 times and never get tired of it。 I just love everything about it: the story and the story telling, the gorgeous art style and character design, and of course the characters themselves。 There is not one single bad thing I can say about this series (ok maybe the ending but with the years, I started to appreciate it for what it is as well), I love it with all my heart。 Daytime Shooting Star➳ Rating f This is my favorite manga series of all time by far; I've read Daytime Shooting Star at least 10 times and never get tired of it。 I just love everything about it: the story and the story telling, the gorgeous art style and character design, and of course the characters themselves。 There is not one single bad thing I can say about this series (ok maybe the ending but with the years, I started to appreciate it for what it is as well), I love it with all my heart。 Daytime Shooting Star➳ Rating for the whole series: 5 。。。more

What I liked most about the manga was, that the female lead is not the stereotypical "shy, cute & pretty" girl。 She is reserved and cool。 The story captured me until the end and it was the first romance Manga I managed to finish, let alone binge read。 *SPOILER* Some scenes got me like "Uh。。", since she has a major crush on her teacher and he seems to reciprocate the love as well (The age difference is 16 & 30+)。 I'm just glad she ended up with her classmate。If you like love-triangles I highly re What I liked most about the manga was, that the female lead is not the stereotypical "shy, cute & pretty" girl。 She is reserved and cool。 The story captured me until the end and it was the first romance Manga I managed to finish, let alone binge read。 *SPOILER* Some scenes got me like "Uh。。", since she has a major crush on her teacher and he seems to reciprocate the love as well (The age difference is 16 & 30+)。 I'm just glad she ended up with her classmate。If you like love-triangles I highly recommend this series! 。。。more
