2。5 stars。 I really wanted to like this book however I think the stories all went on extremely long。 The first story was my favorite and I think it was fairly interesting throughout， however the second one was terrible。 The writing was very weird and it felt less like a story and more like a bunch of thoughts put together。 This book definitely did not live up to the hype。

Song- nobody by mitski -i agree with some of the reviews that ive seen， where they say they didnt necessarily enjoy the book。 I didn’t exactly enjoy it， but i would give it a 3 because the book follows a beautiful timeline where the 3 women involved progressively are more broken/destroyed。 It was very slow at first in the third novella “The woman destroyed”， which made me put down the book for a couple days but i’m glad i ended up finishing it。 Each of the main characters in each novella are so Song- nobody by mitski -i agree with some of the reviews that ive seen， where they say they didnt necessarily enjoy the book。 I didn’t exactly enjoy it， but i would give it a 3 because the book follows a beautiful timeline where the 3 women involved progressively are more broken/destroyed。 It was very slow at first in the third novella “The woman destroyed”， which made me put down the book for a couple days but i’m glad i ended up finishing it。 Each of the main characters in each novella are so complex， and so strangled by the gender norms at the time， and their crises are developed very differently in each story。 I liked how different each story was from the others。 Overall i think it lacked development of the side characters， but it’s a good read 。。。more
