We finished this chapter book in three sittings and Nathan absolutely loved it。 This is a spin-off from the main series so we will be looking into the second installment， as well as finding the first in the main series to try。

I recently finished reading this book to my 4 year old son。 It was our first foray into chapter-style books， and he absolutely loved it。 The chapters were just the right length to read two or three before bed each night， and he was consistently excited about bedtime so that we could read what happened next。 The bright colorful words and silly pictures were right up his alley。 As soon as we finished he asked for the next one。 Now that he has finally put it down， his almost 3 year old sister has p I recently finished reading this book to my 4 year old son。 It was our first foray into chapter-style books， and he absolutely loved it。 The chapters were just the right length to read two or three before bed each night， and he was consistently excited about bedtime so that we could read what happened next。 The bright colorful words and silly pictures were right up his alley。 As soon as we finished he asked for the next one。 Now that he has finally put it down， his almost 3 year old sister has picked it up and has started "reading" it to herself。 It just called out to me at the school book fair and so I bought it without any prior knowledge of the series， but I expect Mr。 Stilton， Thea， Trap and the rest will be frequent visitors to our house in the years to come。 。。。more
