❝It was like everything in life; the more one struggled agains it， the harder it became。❞Aaaaaa。 Es mi primera reacción a este libro。 Estoy。。。 ENAMORADA de Thomas， es la segunda y NO ME LO PUEDO CREER es la tercera。 El primer libro fue excelente， pero le faltaba algo， era un poco predecible。。。 Pero este acabó por volarme la cabeza， puedo decir que hasta que llegamos ahí， no había adivinado quién era el asesino， y eso fue ASOMBROSO。 Ninguna de mis teorías estaba del todo bien y el giro de trama d ❝It was like everything in life; the more one struggled agains it， the harder it became。❞Aaaaaa。 Es mi primera reacción a este libro。 Estoy。。。 ENAMORADA de Thomas， es la segunda y NO ME LO PUEDO CREER es la tercera。 El primer libro fue excelente， pero le faltaba algo， era un poco predecible。。。 Pero este acabó por volarme la cabeza， puedo decir que hasta que llegamos ahí， no había adivinado quién era el asesino， y eso fue ASOMBROSO。 Ninguna de mis teorías estaba del todo bien y el giro de trama de los últimos capítulos fue fantástico。 Me mantuve todo el libro ansiosa， esperando a que explotase en algún momento， lo que hizo que estuviese espectante y me mantuvo constantemente sufriendo。 Además de estar haciendo teorías a cada nuevo capítulo。 Todo el tiempo estaba con Audrey Rose en esos pasillos， intentando averiguar que seguía después。 Aunque el libro es algo lento， no tuve tiempo de aburrirme， todo lo que no pasaba en la historia， pasaba en las teorías de mi cabeza。 Leerlo fue absolutamente mágico。 Cada vez que comenzaba a deslizar mis ojos por las letras， me trasladaba directamente frente al cadáver con el resto de la clase， lo que hizo de esta una lectura absolutamente apasionante， me sentí ahí en cada capítulo。 El feminismo que muestra esta saga me encanta。 Nos centramos en 1888， pero las mujeres luchan por sacar una voz y poco a poco por ser iguales。 Amo como Audrey Rose lucha por su valor frente a sus compañeros。 Es inspirador。 Audrey Rose y Thomas son una de las mejores parejas que he leído， y， creo firmemente que yo también estoy completamente enamorada de él。 Es perfecto。 Quiero hacer una mención honorífica a las últimas cien páginas， porque acabaron con TODAS mis teorías en un segundo， no entendía nada， pero me sentía muy ansiosa y emocionada por acabar。 Podemos seguir la historia en el Castillo de Dracula， leyendas， linajes， realeza， un castillo antiguo y sobretodo cadáveres。 Es una historia maravillosa en la que absolutamente nos vemos inmersos en cada palabra。 ▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘: Aaaaaa。 It is my first reaction to this book。 I'm 。。。 IN LOVE with Thomas， it's the second and I CAN'T BELIEVE IT it's the third。The first book was excellent， but it was missing something， it was a little predictable 。。。 But this one ended up blowing my mind， I can say that until we got there， he had not guessed who the murderer was， and that was AMAZING。 None of my theories were quite right and the plot twist in the last few chapters was fantastic。I kept the whole book anxious， waiting for it to explode at some point， which made me look forward to it and kept me constantly suffering。 In addition to making theories to each new chapter。 He was with Audrey Rose in those hallways all the time， trying to figure out what was next。Although the book is somewhat slow， I did not have time to get bored， everything that did not happen in history， happened in the theories in my head。 Reading it was absolutely magical。 Every time I began to slide my eyes over the letters， I moved directly in front of the corpse with the rest of the class， which made this an absolutely passionate read， I felt there in each chapter。I love the feminism that this saga shows。 We focus on 1888， but women struggle to get a voice and little by little to be equal。 I love how Audrey Rose fights for her courage in front of her classmates。 It is inspiring。Audrey Rose and Thomas are one of the best couples I have ever read， and I firmly believe that I am completely in love with him too。 It is perfect。I want to give an honorable mention to the last hundred pages， because they finished ALL my theories in a second， I did not understand anything， but I was very anxious and excited to finish。We can follow the history in the Castle of Dracula， legends， lineages， royalty， an old castle and especially corpses。 It is a wonderful story in which we absolutely find ourselves immersed in every word。 。。。more

Me ha gustado muchísimo， más que el primer libro。 Un thriller de aventuras con tinte gótico。 Los personajes se les nota más maduros y al no estar en su entorno encontraban más dificultades。 Así como en el primer libro adiviné enseguida quien era el asesino （ aunque no sus razones）， esta vez estaba muy perdida y ha sido todo una grata sorpresa。 Las cartas finales además de un regalo por parte de la autora me han parecido un acierto。 Deseando leer el tercero。

I have absolutely no idea what this book was even trying to accomplish。 This read like a fantasy novel with all the folklore elements and it just wasn't really executed well in my opinion。 I did enjoy this but it just got abit repetitive ish and it just didn't work for me。 Will be reading the sequel though。I just didn't care for this one as much。 Props to the audiobook narrator for getting the Romanian accents and pronunciations ON POINT， though。 I have absolutely no idea what this book was even trying to accomplish。 This read like a fantasy novel with all the folklore elements and it just wasn't really executed well in my opinion。 I did enjoy this but it just got abit repetitive ish and it just didn't work for me。 Will be reading the sequel though。I just didn't care for this one as much。 Props to the audiobook narrator for getting the Romanian accents and pronunciations ON POINT， though。 。。。more

Okay。。。 Tengo mucho que decir y no estoy segura de cómo decirlo。 Los monstruos son solamente tan reales como las historias que les dan vida。 Y viven siempre y cuando contemos esas historias。Considerando entre 4 y 4。5 estrellasEn el primer libro Stalking Jack the Ripper me quejé por el comportamiento de Audrey Rose， el romance mal estructurado， la predictibilidad e incluso la repetición en la escritura。 En esta ocasión quiero remarcar la evolución y los cambios que han habido。 Audrey Rose Okay。。。 Tengo mucho que decir y no estoy segura de cómo decirlo。 Los monstruos son solamente tan reales como las historias que les dan vida。 Y viven siempre y cuando contemos esas historias。Considerando entre 4 y 4。5 estrellasEn el primer libro Stalking Jack the Ripper me quejé por el comportamiento de Audrey Rose， el romance mal estructurado， la predictibilidad e incluso la repetición en la escritura。 En esta ocasión quiero remarcar la evolución y los cambios que han habido。 Audrey Rose ha mejorado exponencialmente y， tras lo sucedido al final del primer libro， es comprensible el comportamiento que mostró en Hunting Prince Dracula。La relación de Cresswell y Wadsworth fue explorada a mayor profundidad y conocimos otro lado de este misterioso joven; la escritura me pareció más organizada y menos repetitiva， además tiene puntos extra por las traducciones， interpretaciones y el uso del rumano en general; el ambiente de novela gótica se mantuvo exitosamente durante todo el libro， incluso cuando había momentos íntimos o “románticos”。 —El mundo no es bueno ni cruel。 Simplemente existe。 Tenemos la habilidad de verlo de la manera en que decidamos。 Ahora， vamos con lo que desde mi punto de vista， pudo ser mejor。 El desarrollo de algunos personajes me pareció débil e incluso algunas interacciones las sentí vacías o vanas， siendo utilizadas como complementos forzados。 （view spoiler）[Un ejemplo es su relación con sus compañeros de clase， especialmente con Noah。 Tuvieron un par de conversaciones （más bien intercambio de unas cuántas palabras> y más adelante lo mencionaba como un gran amigo。 （hide spoiler）]Esto tal vez sea debido a que todo se narra en primera persona， desde el punto de vista de Audrey Rose。Una vez más， tengo problemas con el final。 Muchos de los sucesos durante la historia y aspectos en la resolución del crimen me han parecido predecibles， sin embargo， al decir muchos palabra clave no busco generalizar， ya que a diferencia del libro anterior， hubieron momentos en los que quedé sorprendida， pues me concentré tanto en lo que había deducido que no noté las demás pistas。 Uno de esos momentos fue cuando （view spoiler）[Radu se mostró ante ellos después de haberlos salvado de los lobos en el bosque。 Me impactó que aquel descuidado profesor tuviese tal faceta y， siendo sincera， me gustaría haber sabido más de él。 Otra cosa que me tomó por sorpresa， fue la aparición de Daciana e Ileana como miembros de la Orden del Dragón， si bien pude haberlo pensado en algún momento， deseché pronto la idea e incluso las olvidé a ellas quedando eclipsada por la secuencia de sucesos en el Copacul Morţii， que por cierto， se quedó un poco corto de emoción para mí gusto。 （hide spoiler）] Los humanos eran los verdaderos monstruos y villanos。 Más reales de lo que cualquier novela o fantasía pudiera inventar。 En conclusión， me ha parecido un buen libro， entretenido e intrigante， siendo notorio el contraste entre el primer libro de Kerri Maniscalco y este， dejándome deseosa de ver cuan más puede mejorar。No tengo más que decir que ¡Hacia América！ 。。。more

I really do love how this series is going。 My only criticism is that I don’t know how I feel about the identity of the killer being in one chapter， and all the climatic events we have been waiting for is also within that one chapter — does that make sense？ However， I am excited to continue towards the third and fourth book of this series。 I do adore where Audrey and Thomas’ relationship is heading， and love that we are travelling to different places around the world with them — even under not so I really do love how this series is going。 My only criticism is that I don’t know how I feel about the identity of the killer being in one chapter， and all the climatic events we have been waiting for is also within that one chapter — does that make sense？ However， I am excited to continue towards the third and fourth book of this series。 I do adore where Audrey and Thomas’ relationship is heading， and love that we are travelling to different places around the world with them — even under not so good circumstances。 。。。more

Uno dei personaggi storici che mi ha sempre intrigato è il Principe Dracula （Vlad III） per cui ero davvero curiosa di conoscere un'altra versione della sua famigerata storia。Audrey Rose e il suo compagno d'avventure Thomas sono diretti in Romania per frequentare la scuola di medicina legale più famosa del mondo。 Le lezioni avranno luogo nel Castello di Bram。。。 I guai， per i due protagonisti， inizieranno già sul treno， il mitico Oriente Express！La trama di questo secondo volume mi è piaciuta di p Uno dei personaggi storici che mi ha sempre intrigato è il Principe Dracula （Vlad III） per cui ero davvero curiosa di conoscere un'altra versione della sua famigerata storia。Audrey Rose e il suo compagno d'avventure Thomas sono diretti in Romania per frequentare la scuola di medicina legale più famosa del mondo。 Le lezioni avranno luogo nel Castello di Bram。。。 I guai， per i due protagonisti， inizieranno già sul treno， il mitico Oriente Express！La trama di questo secondo volume mi è piaciuta di più。 Sara anche l'ambientazione cupa della Romania， il castello oscuro pieno di passaggi segreti e buie caverne nascoste a rendere più vivido il tutto。 Le descrizioni dei luoghi in cui si svolge il tutto è migliore rispetto a SJTR。 Anche il mistero non è stato semplice da risolvere。 Ammetto di essere finita totalmente fuori strada con il mio sospettato principale。I mostri sono reali quanto le storieche li tengono in vita。Per quello che riguarda i due personaggi principali non è cambiata la mia opinione su Audrey Rose。 Apprezzo che non si preoccupi delle ridicole regole sociali del tempo， che sia avanti coni tempi e che sia determinata a raggiungere i suoi obiettivi。 Non discuto sul fatto che sia coraggiosa。 Più o meno。 Spesso è l'imprudenza che la spinge ad agire in determinati modi。Se una persona guarda sempre agli altri per farsi un’opinione， perde la capacità di ragionare in maniera critica。 Il progresso non esisterebbe se tutti apparissimo， pensassimo e amassimo allo stesso identico modo。Thomas rimane il mio preferito e mi piace sempre di più。 È divertente， sfacciato e da leggerezza a tutto il romanzo con la sua ironia irriverente。 Ho un piccolo appunto su di lui: non amo quando diventa letteralmente scemo in presenza di Audrey Rose。 Ah， l'amore！Il loro rapporto cresce sempre più ed è un piacere vederli insieme。 Sia nei bisticci amorosi che in quelli più seri。«Mio padre ha sempre cercato di tenermi in gabbia， di proteggermi dal mondo esterno， e questa è la mia prima vera esperienza di libertà， Thomas。 Posso finalmente fare le mie scelte。 Questa novità mi entusiasma e mi terrorizza allo stesso tempo， ma devo sapere se sono in grado di affrontare certe sfide da sola。 Se davvero desideri aiutarmi， fallo stando al mio fianco。 È tutto ciò che ti chiedo。 Niente più esperimenti per incoraggiarmi ad affrontare il trauma che ho subito。 O chiacchierate con i professori sulla mia costituzione o sui miei problemi emotivi。 Mi sminuisci quando fai così， e non tollererò più questo genere di comportamenti。»I personaggi secondari， diversi rispetto al capitolo precedente， ma ugualmente interessanti。 Anche questa volta la Maniscalco ha saputo amalgamarli bene con la storia e con i due protagonisti。Nel complesso Alla ricerca del Principe Dracula mi ha dato maggiori soddisfazioni sia per l'ambientazione che per i personaggi。 Lo reputo un ottimo seguito。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this book， I love the chemistry between the characters。 There were al lot of characters to keep track of and at times it got a little confusing with everyone doing their own thing but I really enjoyed the book！ Would totally recommend！

What a fun， scary ride！ It was a bit slow in a few places but I loved the story。 Well written…and I greatly enjoyed the humor juxtaposed with death。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I just finished this and OMG IT WAS SPECTACULAR。 The story was so interesting and it was hard to tell who Prince Dracula was until the end。 The romance between Audrey Rose and Thomas was a delight to see。 I loved how they took it slow and confirmed their feelings before pursuing their love。 I just loved the ending of the book。 10/10

Again， quite a predictable turn of tables。 I wish had been wrong about that one。 Right at the beginning， we have Audrey Rose and Thomas on their way to Romania。 Thomas leaves a drawing of a dragon in her chair。 Thomas wants to tell her something。 What is it， and what is the relation of the drawing with the story？ I don't know。 Once Audrey Rose finds out Thomas drew that， it is never referenced again。 Perhaps， you may say， we， the readers， were supposed to read between the lines and find out all Again， quite a predictable turn of tables。 I wish had been wrong about that one。 Right at the beginning， we have Audrey Rose and Thomas on their way to Romania。 Thomas leaves a drawing of a dragon in her chair。 Thomas wants to tell her something。 What is it， and what is the relation of the drawing with the story？ I don't know。 Once Audrey Rose finds out Thomas drew that， it is never referenced again。 Perhaps， you may say， we， the readers， were supposed to read between the lines and find out all of that was Thomas trying to tell her （view spoiler）[ he is the Dracula heir。 （hide spoiler）] But it was so subtle and it ended up adding nothing to the story。 Now， what bothered me a lot was the constant reference to Thomas as her 'friend'。 From what we got in the last book: "Thomas。 With a sudden jolt， I realized how much I loved him and needed to be with him。 He was the only truth left in the world I understood。" And I was thinking when I got this book that we would have some kind of change in her behavior towards Thomas since what she'd just found and everything clicked。 But no。 For most of this book， all we got is her saying how much she felt like he was a friend。 It is like the part from 'Stalking Jack the Ripper' never happened。 Sure， she was hunted by what happened with her brother。 But that was also what made Audrey Rose realize how she felt。 And was kind of disconnected and lost during the story。 After some pages of her constantly saying how much she considered Thomas her friend， suddenly: "but certain feelings were becoming。。。 clearer"。 Clearly， there was no improvement in the mess that were the main characters from the first book。 It was like the writer was confused， not the characters。 Because contradicting what they said before。 Forgetting the quarrel that just happened。 The scenes that could have led to complicated moments were just skipped and not explored， cause romance， y'know？ （view spoiler）[ Thomas tried to help Audrey Rose by telling the teacher about her sensibility towards the Ripper case。 Could you imagine what I beautiful scene it could've been: them discussing deeply the causes of his actions and her reaction？ Nah。 "I wish Thomas hadn't gone and complicated our friendship"。 And then， with his redemption scene pretending to be dead， which just upset her more， their fight was forgotten because of the trapdoor。 And we don't get to revisit this moment。 （hide spoiler）] And we got Daciana and Ileana。 I thought it was nice to have representation， and I guess it was a thing back then to have same-sex couples 'hidden' from society's eyes， so cool。 But we could've had a more extreme reaction coming from Audrey Rose。 I know we want an inclusive main character。 But that was totally out of her reality and I bet she was taught that hetero couples only should be a thing。 Give me a complication。 Questioning why are two women making out in the closed （lol）。 Don't just accept it。 It's new for her， and it would have been ok for Audrey Rose to be confused。 So let's finally get to the murderer。 Besides the revelation being expected， the adventure of finding out and the final scene were really amazing。 （view spoiler）[ Exploring the maze beneath Dracula's castle and finding out what had in each room based on poems？ I loved it。 The tree with bones？ Amazing。 Anastasia suddenly appearing from a blood bathtub？ Yes。 （hide spoiler）] The scenario， the adventures in this book were so captivating and kept me wanting more and more。 I loved it was in Romania and how the culture was implemented。 And talking about the mysteries， how dope were Nicolaes drawings？！ The gothic atmosphere in this novel is everything I need。 。。。more
