I cannot rave about Chris Van Dusen’s illustrations enough。 His vibrant and shiny style yells for attention in an non-obnoxious way。 This was the first of his books he himself authored we’ve been able to read and it was marvelous！ Enjoyed by one and all in our family。 It nurtured curiosity and creativity in a beautiful way。 Highly recommended for 2 and up。

Can’t believe this book is 15 years old！ Still fresh and fun like the others in the series， for those who remember Chitty Chitty Bang Bang， Jack’s car is all that but on steroids！
