The first volume was very edgy, but this one feels more "edgelord," and I was not a fan。 I'm curious about the ending, so I will probably pick up the next volume。 The next book will determine whether or not I continue in this series。 The first volume was very edgy, but this one feels more "edgelord," and I was not a fan。 I'm curious about the ending, so I will probably pick up the next volume。 The next book will determine whether or not I continue in this series。 。。。more

Just punishing。 Some clever dialogue here and there, but everything is just so miserable that I have no desire to read any more。 It's a shame。 The covers on these are SO cool。 Oh, well。 Just punishing。 Some clever dialogue here and there, but everything is just so miserable that I have no desire to read any more。 It's a shame。 The covers on these are SO cool。 Oh, well。 。。。more

4。5 stars rounded to a 5。This was better, quite a bit better than Volume 1: Reagan Youth。 I enjoyed the characters, especially Marcus。 Saya and Billy are close favorites。 The antagonists are so gruesome and messed up and it just makes for such good tension。 It has great interpersonal relationship storylines too。 The settings are good。 Oh, and the art was so so good。 Wes Craig is honestly a master at getting you to keep looking and turning the page and I really commend Rick Remmender on his writi 4。5 stars rounded to a 5。This was better, quite a bit better than Volume 1: Reagan Youth。 I enjoyed the characters, especially Marcus。 Saya and Billy are close favorites。 The antagonists are so gruesome and messed up and it just makes for such good tension。 It has great interpersonal relationship storylines too。 The settings are good。 Oh, and the art was so so good。 Wes Craig is honestly a master at getting you to keep looking and turning the page and I really commend Rick Remmender on his writing of these characters。 I'm really looking forward to Volume 3: The Snake Pit。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I liked volume 1 better, but it’s still a good storyline。 Curious to see where it will go next。 Ending was a little confusing because the illustrations and text didn’t make it clear whose head Marcus was holding in his hands。 The few typos were a little annoying (angle instead of Angel)。

This was slightly less interesting then the first book。 But overall good read。

Well this was just as action packed and effed up as the first installment。 I do like that we are learning more about these characters and diving more into how crazy this school is that they attend。

Kevin Mullier

Only lower ranked as it wasn't as gripping as the 1st Vol but still good; insight into the horrific orphanage Marcus came from, the action packed seige on Fuckfaces redneck family, the comedic Marcus farting but then shitting himself scene and then ending on a massive cliff-hanger at the shit Maria is in。 Only lower ranked as it wasn't as gripping as the 1st Vol but still good; insight into the horrific orphanage Marcus came from, the action packed seige on Fuckfaces redneck family, the comedic Marcus farting but then shitting himself scene and then ending on a massive cliff-hanger at the shit Maria is in。 。。。more

Troszkę więcej dramy, ale tylko w takim zakresie, jaki uzasadnia fabuła。 Historia jeszcze bardziej podkręca tempo - jest dobrze

The gritty real deal in graphic novels。 I love it! 🥰

This second volume was just as captivating as the first。 There’s just something about the world, characters, writing, and art that pulls me in completely with this series so far。 There’s so much depth to the characters in this, and they feel like real people。 I love continuing to learn more about their experiences, and I’m excited to have more revealed in future volumes。 The flashbacks were perfectly done as well。 There were enough to flesh the characters and story out but not so much that they This second volume was just as captivating as the first。 There’s just something about the world, characters, writing, and art that pulls me in completely with this series so far。 There’s so much depth to the characters in this, and they feel like real people。 I love continuing to learn more about their experiences, and I’m excited to have more revealed in future volumes。 The flashbacks were perfectly done as well。 There were enough to flesh the characters and story out but not so much that they overwhelmed the present story。The writing is just so good in this, and the internal monologue for the characters is really well-done。 The subject matter is often very serious, but there’s also humor throughout the story as well。 I definitely recommend this volume and look forward to the next。 。。。more

I preferred this volume to volume one。 There was even more character development in this one and the last quarter of the comic was just crazy。 I really like the characters even though they all have their flaws。 My only problem would be that at time the monologue can slow down the story telling however not enough to make it boring。

Brilliant。 So glad they made a show too! What a wonderful story of teenage angst expressed through an 80s action movie。

Well this was badass! I really loved this volume。 It gives you insight in the thoughts and backgrounds of the characters。 It makes you feel even more for them and you can understand them better。 They still feel so real。 I couldn't put it down and read it faster than I probably should but I just wanted to know what happened next。 And then it ends with a cliffhanger! I am probably going to read the 3rd volume right now, can't get enough of this :D Well this was badass!
