Summary

When her dad gets a job overseas, Konatsu Amano has to leave the Tokyo life she’s always known and relocate to a small seaside town to stay with her aunt。 The move also means starting a new school surrounded by complete strangers, and it’s a lot to handle for a girl who has trouble with change。 But on her first day in her new town, Konatsu is instantly drawn to Koyuki, an older girl who is the sole member of the Aquarium Club。 Konatsu’s introverted tendencies are hard for her to overcome, but maybe she’s found something worth coming out of her shell for?

Konatsu is doing her best to adapt to her new school, but being required to join a club has introduced additional pressures。 Her friendly classmate Kaede invites her to join the Home Ec Club, but Konatsu hasn’t even had time to consider which club she’s interested in。 Meanwhile, Koyuki is like a ray of sunshine in Konatsu’s cloudy world。 Will Konatsu join the Aquarium Club?

Cute! Maybe I'm a bit too old for this manga though, I keep rolling my eyes over characters working themselves into angst/depression while fretting over asking or telling someone completely mundane things (that they joined a different club at school, asking for a phone number to someone they're supposed to have after-school activities with)。 It might be a cultural difference too, it's about Japanese highschoolers after all (and I guess both the main characters are kind of shy)。 It still annoys m Cute! A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow, Vol。 1This was such a cute read。 Manga is quick to read in general, but I flew through this。 I'm loving the growing friendship between the two main characters and the art is so pretty。 I can't wait to continue on with the series。 A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow, Vol。 1This was such a cute read。 Manga is quick to read in general, but I flew through this。 I'm loving the growing friendship between the two main characters and the art is so pretty。 I can't wait to continue on with the series。 。。。more

Konatsu Amano moves to the seaside to live with her aunt after her father transffers overseas for work。 There, she visits her soon to be school on the weekend and finds many people of all ages inside。 She sees many tanks full of fish and sharks and gets asked by Koyuki Hanami if she likes salamanders。 The story is about their time in the aquarium club and Koyuki’s akward friendship towards Konatsu。 I like the aquarium parts in the story, its really cool to see the cute salamanders and fish。 I al Konatsu Amano moves to the seaside to live with her aunt after her father transffers overseas for work。 There, she visits her soon to be school on the weekend and finds many people of all ages inside。 She sees many tanks full of fish and sharks and gets asked by Koyuki Hanami if she likes salamanders。 The story is about their time in the aquarium club and Koyuki’s akward friendship towards Konatsu。 I like the aquarium parts in the story, its really cool to see the cute salamanders and fish。 I also liked the parts where Koyuki is really akward with Konatsu, she keeps on daydreaming about being bubbly with her and being so happy she joined, makes me question many things about her。 I don’t dislike anything else, its just ordinary, nothing wrong with that。 I recommend this to people who like a cute slow-burn that has some gl undertones (not quite sure though)。 Their interactions are really cute and smile inducing。 Suitable for teens。 。。。more

This gave me very similar vibes to Bloom Into You。 The main love interest is a popular girl who is known for being kind and smart and the protagonist joins the same club。 I thought it was cute but the crush felt very instant and it would've been nice to have seen it more drawn out。 I would continue the series, but it didn't impact me enough for me to be excited about it。 Also if I had a yen for every manga I've read that featured a romantic moment at the aquarium I'd have enough to buy a salaman This gave me very similar vibes to Bloom Into You。 The main love interest is a popular girl who is known for being kind and smart and the protagonist joins the same club。 I thought it was cute but the crush felt very instant and it would've been nice to have seen it more drawn out。 I would continue the series, but it didn't impact me enough for me to be excited about it。 Also if I had a yen for every manga I've read that featured a romantic moment at the aquarium I'd have enough to buy a salamander。 。。。more

This is one of the sweetest manga I've ever read。 The art is perfect and the story is going places。 I am hooked and cannot wait to pick up the 2nd volume ASAP。 These girls are sweet and have their own personalities that I enjoy reading。 Absolutely recommend to fans of sweet and soft yuri。 This is one of the sweetest manga I've ever read。 The art is perfect and the story is going places。 I am hooked and cannot wait to pick up the 2nd volume ASAP。 These girls are sweet and have their own personalities that I enjoy reading。 Absolutely recommend to fans of sweet and soft yuri。 。。。more

You would think, as a queer woman myself with a wife, that yuri manga would be my jam。 Sweet stories of girls falling in love with girls are something I love - but yuri manga can be fickle because it's usually super sweet with no real payoff beyond hand holding and kisses, or it's overly gratuitous and meant more for the male gaze rather than any sort of queer consumption。This leads into my warring feelings with this manga。。。Read the rest of my review at Well, Are They? This was such a cute start to a series! Both girls bond, as they share time volunteering at the aquarium。 The drawings of sea life particularly was a lot of fun。 Both our main characters and the side characters are likable, if somewhat quiet。 This is a gentle and sweet start to a story, and one I plan to read further。

The art for this manga is gorgeous, but in some points it’s difficult to tell the girls apart because they all have the same face。 I like the cute animals and the fun salamander facts as well as the girls relationship with each other。 Overall I really liked it and I’ll definitely read the next volume!

I really love this manga so far, I love how sweet and wholesome this is, I love the characters, I do have a bit of interest in aquatic life so the few times thismdoes touch up on it is nice and love the cover art and how pretty and blue it is。

Nemo???So this was sweet。 I really enjoyed the look we got into both characters' heads and I felt that I connected with them well。 I gave it 3 stars because while I really enjoyed it it didn't blow me away and I didn't immediately have to buy the next volume。 I will read it because I want to see where the story goes and it'll be interesting to see how their relationship develops。 The art was gorgeous! it’s gay AND it’s cute I’ll admit it’s shorter than I would’ve liked but the art and the characters make up for it

Ever since I heard the phrase ‘lesbian aquarium club’, I needed to read this。 This review will be for the whole series, read at your own risk!Read 6 volumesI adore it。 It feels so real and down to earth and I adore the girls。 I am solidly rooting for them!! This definitely has a more melancholy feel than I expected but it’s SO GOOD。 Highly recommend to high school drama/romance manga lovers。THAT VOLUME 6 CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!! I need volume 7 now!

I admit, it is a cute story about two school girls who are pretty the same in terms of feeling lonely at times due to them going on to adulthood 。 They both share the same love for exotic fish and join a aquarium club together。 I was rather disappointed that I didn’t get the Yuri vibes as it needed to have because the story would have been far more interesting involving the girls feeling passionate for each other (yes I am a picky hooligan who reads too much romance shenanigans)。 I also didn’t l I admit, it is a cute story about two school girls who are pretty the same in terms of feeling lonely at times due to them going on to adulthood 。 They both share the same love for exotic fish and join a aquarium club together。 I was rather disappointed that I didn’t get the Yuri vibes as it needed to have because the story would have been far more interesting involving the girls feeling passionate for each other (yes I am a picky hooligan who reads too much romance shenanigans)。 I also didn’t like the fact that the art dipped towards the end like cmon man, leave the art alone as it is jeez!anyways worth a read if you wanna simple story! 。。。more

This was honestly a cover pick。 I don't care about the charcters that much but it is a cute story about a girl trying to make friends in a new small town。 I liked the art but I don't care much for the plot。 It's good if you're looking for a casual cute read or something low stakes。 This was honestly a cover pick。 I don't care about the charcters that much but it is a cute story about a girl trying to make friends in a new small town。 I liked the art but I don't care much for the plot。 It's good if you're looking for a casual cute read or something low stakes。 。。。more

Worried about moving and making friends in a new place, Konatsu is relieved when she instantly connects with a girl named Koyuki at an aquarium open house on her first day in town。 Then she finds out that Koyuki is also her classmate and the sole member of their high school's aquarium club。 It doesn't take long before the club has two members! This realistic fiction manga is a sweet, slow-blooming romance that is sure to make your heart smile。 Worried about moving and making friends in a new place, Konatsu is relieved when she instantly connects with a girl named Koyuki at an aquarium open house on her first day in town。 Then she finds out that Koyuki is also her classmate and the sole member of their high school's aquarium club。 It doesn't take long before the club has two members! Super cute, 3-dimensional main characters and an adorable innocence that perfectly captures the early stages of finding out you're a girl who likes girls-- specifically, one girl。 Can't wait to read the next one!
