My son is big on Opera and orchestra music。 Four Seasons In One Day is a beautiful combination of story and classical music。 A great introduction to classical music and reading， because it makes it fun to read when the little ones can press the button for music。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 We follow a girl， her dog and a potted apple tree through a day which encompass all four seasons to Vivaldi's music The Four Seasons。 We start with spring， with some showers and a Spring festival， next the summer sun beats down and we get a summer thunderstorm， now it is fall， with autumn leaves and harvest。 The girl can pick apples from her little potted apple tree which changes with each season during this day。 Finally it is winter and she builds a snowman， but when she is heading home she sli We follow a girl， her dog and a potted apple tree through a day which encompass all four seasons to Vivaldi's music The Four Seasons。 We start with spring， with some showers and a Spring festival， next the summer sun beats down and we get a summer thunderstorm， now it is fall， with autumn leaves and harvest。 The girl can pick apples from her little potted apple tree which changes with each season during this day。 Finally it is winter and she builds a snowman， but when she is heading home she slips on some ice and breaks the pot containing her apple tree plant。 It ends with her same at home in front of a fire but sad about the apple tree， but with the puppy's help she realizes she can plant one of the apples she picked and create a new tree。 So the story can continue again。 The book ends with a brief biography of Vivaldi who was born in Venice in 1678 and telling us that he composed more than 800 pieces of music。 It has a brief glossary of music terms and information about each clip in the book。 My only frustration with this book was that the buttons were really hard to get to work。 You had press really hard to get the music to start。 J 。。。more
