Such a beautiful story。

More of a 4。5, but it was overall a great book! This is the type of book that can get you to think deeply and look at life itself through a whole new perspective。 It also had so many great and beautiful quotes! The story was absolutely beautiful, but at times it did feel that it dragged and wish we learned more about how the Death Cast system worked。

I didn’t expect to like this book that much, from the beginning to the end the story was interesting and unexpected。 I loved it and even if the end was already settled it still hurt。 I feel this book is a light lecture so you could easily finished it in a couple of hours。 👌🏼

I really liked this book, IT MADE ME CRY, not that this is hard I cry a lot in movies, this book is very sad to read but it makes you realize that you need to live on your best, the challenge in this book is to live a lifetime in a single day。 But now you are asking why did I gave this book 3 stars, i gave it 3 stars because IT IS NOT THE BEST BOOK I HAVE READ, This book is not a story that you can't stop reading, basically the whole book is about two boys saying goodbye to each other and going I really liked this book, IT MADE ME CRY, not that this is hard I cry a lot in movies, this book is very sad to read but it makes you realize that you need to live on your best, the challenge in this book is to live a lifetime in a single day。 But now you are asking why did I gave this book 3 stars, i gave it 3 stars because IT IS NOT THE BEST BOOK I HAVE READ, This book is not a story that you can't stop reading, basically the whole book is about two boys saying goodbye to each other and going on adventures, they almost die several times and in the end they die a very sad way, and it only shows only one boy dying。 。。。more

This is for sure a new favorite book。 I was fully engaged throughout the whole thing, I loved the characters, I loved the message, I loved the writing style。 Our two many characters are very different but they work so well together, I loved the little mini stories about related characters that was brought up in between things。 I think the mini stories were nice and short and REALLY easy to follow considering the structure of everything。 Overall I loved this book and I for SURE ended up crying wh This is for sure a new favorite book。 I was fully engaged throughout the whole thing, I loved the characters, I loved the message, I loved the writing style。 Our two many characters are very different but they work so well together, I loved the little mini stories about related characters that was brought up in between things。 I think the mini stories were nice and short and REALLY easy to follow considering the structure of everything。 Overall I loved this book and I for SURE ended up crying while reading this one even though most of the book had a more lighthearted-happy-ish tone despite the sad topic of death。 It wasn't a downer of a book, if anything i feel like it was more of a commentary on life and not death。 It was beautiful。 I HIGHLY recommend! 。。。more

Absolutely incredible story! The ending is extremely heart-wrenching, especially since you watch as the characters grow into theirselves。

The concept of this book had potential, but, did it deliver? NoThere’s no deep empathy or philosophy contemplation that the death theme should have advanced on。 Ok we get the author believes in living your life to the fullest because everyone dies in the end。 We get that life is about choices but we’re bound to one fate。 Honestly we don’t need to read the book to know that because we can gather it from the title。 I thought the writing was poor, there are few metaphors/ similes that get you think The concept of this book had potential, but, did it deliver? I honestly don’t have much to say about this one, it’s just very sweet。 This is very much a contemporary novel, which isn’t a genre I normally gravitate towards, but Mateo and Rufus were so likeable! Their relationship never feels forced。 Everything that happens, happens very naturally。Did I cry? No。。。 but then again; I can’t think of a book that actually has made me cry Me=🪨

This book took a while to get into, and was quite slow moving。 That being said, it picked up pace in the second half and was a really enjoyable read in the end。 The character development was beautiful, and although the ending was clear from the outset, it was well done。

2。75/5I think my emotional connectivity is jammed bc I teared up once around the last 10 pages and didn't feel that attached to the story even though it was pretty sad。 Nice concept, maybe could've gotten a different execution。 An easy read overall 2。75/5I think my emotional connectivity is jammed bc I teared up once around the last 10 pages and didn't feel that attached to the story even though it was pretty sad。 Nice concept, maybe could've gotten a different execution。 An easy read overall 。。。more

OH MY GOD, this book hurt me so bad but in all the right ways。 I loved the writing so much and the entire storyline was just so good。The way rufus and Mateo broke out of their shells in different ways was do beautiful, but it was a shame it had to happen on their end day。 I got attached to the characters especially Mateo because I feel like I relate to him in many ways。Again wanted to say I loved this so much and if you haven't read it, what are you doing with your life? This book has me crying and anxious as well! As I turn the pages, I’m always worried if they would already die or they would receive a painful death and honestly I can’t bring myself to re-read it because it wrecked me to my core。 A very good book。 Will leave you weeping and thinking about your untimely death。

This book was so good! I did think there was a bit of a slow start and it was hard to understand and relate to the characters, but about halfway through I was more invested in the characters and the storyline。 I didn’t want it to end! If you read this book - the chances of you crying and large。

I absolutely loved this book! I read the most of it in only 3 days and I loved how some characters came together during the story。 It is such amazing how only one day can be described in a whole book and it doesn’t get boring。 I was so invested and I am not sorry for spending my mornings reading! This book is amazing!

ouch。 i went into this thinking it was overhyped and wouldn’t hurt… i was very much wrong。 everything hurts。

I liked the book。 It was definitely a slower paced book and a little confusing in the beginning to understand the time concept but it was still an amazing read。 I was sobbing at the end。 ❤️

i was really struggling with the rating for this one。 if i could i would probably give it 4。5 stars, but i will go with 4 for now and here's why:i really love the concept of this books and the way it's executed with all those different povs。 yet i felt like it was missing something and i've seen other people say this as well。 especially with the more emotional scenes there was often a lack of, well, emotion。 the dialogue was great but i just wish silveria would have put more time into describing i was really struggling with the rating for this one。 if i could i would probably give it 4。5 stars, but i will go with 4 for now and here's why:i really love the concept of this books and the way it's executed with all those different povs。 yet i felt like it was missing something and i've seen other people say this as well。 especially with the more emotional scenes there was often a lack of, well, emotion。 the dialogue was great but i just wish silveria would have put more time into describing those feelings as well instead of heavily relying on the dailogue。 (i noticed this especially in the scene *spoiler*where they had their first kiss。 just a little description of how it made them feel inside would have improved it a lot *spoiler end*)then yet again maybe it was on purpose。 these two are running out of time after all and there's no time to waste in detailed descriptions。 (i still would have liked some)but! i have to admit that my mind was blown at the end of this book。 because suddendly you realise how so many things are conected and lead to another, things you didn't even pay close attention to in the beginning。 i'm not going to go into greater detail due to spoilers but this book really gave me a lot of food for thought and damn, did it make my heart ache。should you read this book? definitely, if you are able to deal with sad stuff。 but i started reading with high expectations that weren't fully met, so maybe dial those down a nodge and you will probably love it! 。。。more

I thought it was going to be a lot more heartbreaking than what it ended up being。 I'm not completely sold on their relationship, perhaps because one-day love stories always fall short in my opinion, as they lack emotional depth。 But all in all, the concept of the book is really interesting。 Sad, but interesting nonetheless。 Both characters and their experiences, as well as their different approach to life and death, form a compelling pair。 I thought it was going to be a lot more heartbreaking than what it ended up being。 I'm not completely sold on their relationship, perhaps because one-day love stories always fall short in my opinion, as they lack emotional depth。 But all in all, the concept of the book is really interesting。 Sad, but interesting nonetheless。 Both characters and their experiences, as well as their different approach to life and death, form a compelling pair。 。。。more

Loved it!!!! It’s definitely for teens on the younger side of YA, but one of the most fast paced and beautiful books I’ve read。 The small hints of romance adds so much to the plot, and the way every character is connected is so well executed。 This book shows how life rlly has plans for us, and even the smallest things can create life changing circumstances。 A simple, exciting, and sad read that is great for anyone。

didnt actually finish it, it made me confront the idea of me dying and i simply just did not want to do that! im sure its a great book!
