Summary

This review is for all 5 volumes。Spell of Desire is josei manga， intended for adult women， and I guess the main differences with the usual shoujo I steer towards is that the main character is a grown up woman and that it can be a bit steamy at some points。 Kauroko lives a quiet life， selling healing herbs in a small town， until the appearance of a young attractive man claiming to be the protector of her mother， the witch queen。 And thus begins a romantic fairy tale with witches， feline unicorns， This review is for all 5 volumes。Spell of Desire is josei manga， intended for adult women， and I guess the main differences with the usual shoujo I steer towards is that the main character is a grown up woman and that it can be a bit steamy at some points。 Kauroko lives a quiet life， selling healing herbs in a small town， until the appearance of a young attractive man claiming to be the protector of her mother， the witch queen。 And thus begins a romantic fairy tale with witches， feline unicorns， puppy dragons， and a thin plot that is more of an excuse for having the male lead continuously kiss the female lead and rescue her from dangerous situations。 It is kind of thin on character development or plot， and relies too much on having a damsel in distress， but it does redeem itself near the end。 The art is gorgeous。 。。。more
