This book has really nice illustrations and they really capture what is happening in the story。 It involves the use of imagination which I really like as well and I think it would work well as a read-aloud in a classroom grades 1st-4th。 There are quite a few pages where there are only pictures but they serve a purpose so I do not see anything wrong with that。 A must have book in my future classroom。

I thought this was a good book on misbehaving。 As Max had seen for himself and reflected oh is actions， he realized how he had been acting as in the end he apologizes and receives his supper， a story of forgiveness。
