Jokes aside about me reading a Dr。 Seuss book at 20 years old, I was reading it with the kid I was babysitting and this book like actually sucks。 I love the word choice and the illustrations in a seussical style but the message is horrible! I read a lot of Dr。 Suess's books when I was in Elementary, and I never forget them because I loved the way everything rhymes so perfectly。 I read a lot of Dr。 Suess's books when I was in Elementary, and I never forget them because I loved the way everything rhymes so perfectly。 。。。more

An unnamed protagonist sets off on an adventure: in the wide open air, through lurches and slumps, down scary roads, and through bright places。 Throughout the story, the narrator provides inspiration and guidance in Seuss' quintessential rhythm and made-up words。A classic choice for graduates (of all ages)!Favorite Quote: "It's opener there in the wide open air。" An unnamed protagonist sets off on an adventure: in the wide open air, through lurches and slumps, down scary roads, and through bright places。 Throughout the story, the narrator provides inspiration and guidance in Seuss' quintessential rhythm and made-up words。A classic choice for graduates (of all ages)!Favorite Quote: "It's opener there in the wide open air。" 。。。more

Oh to be a demotivated student amidst pandemic got me being so hard on myself but luckily we have Dr。 Seuss here who tried to reminds us that hurdles and slumps will come but they will definitely go。 We are not going nowhere。 We are going to succeed nevertheless and be able to move the mountains that were once daunting。

Books 2021#49: Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr。 Seuss。The last book this beloved children's author wrote in 1990, it's written for anyone who is about to embark on a new chapter in life no matter what age that person is。 Basically:Get off your butt。Don't blame others for any misfortune in life。There will be sad and dark times。It may take years to find the right path。You may encounter Horton-like elephants。Five out of five stars。 Books 2021#49: Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr。 Seuss。The last book this beloved children's author wrote in 1990, it's written for anyone who is about to embark on a new chapter in life no matter what age that person is。 Basically:Get off your butt。Don't blame others for any misfortune in life。There will be sad and dark times。It may take years to find the right path。You may encounter Horton-like elephants。Five out of five stars。 。。。more

Fantasy (?) Picture Book2-6Yes, it is a Dr Seuss book。 However it is a Dr Seuss book with quite a bit of text and a message and meaning of a higher level than most Dr Seuss books。 The earlier grades tend to get a little bit fidgety by the time this book is finished being read to them, whereas the older elementary grades are able to appreciate a little bit more that it's an allegory for our real lives。It's a great book to use for emotional awareness and metacognition in regards to life choices an Fantasy (?) Kids can understand that sometimes things like moving, or sickness, loss of a friend or family member, getting a bad grade, can all be things that would be dark tunnels or mountains to climb。 Kids can also connect with the examples of working hard to overcome them and having people help you and being there to support you。 。。。more

I’ve been wanting to read this book for the longest time, and I only got to do so recently。 My push was being that my sister is pregnant and I wanted to get something for my niece/nephew that it would enjoy and learn from as they grow up。 My sister even cried, because she thought it was beautiful and motivational。 Mind you, she is pregnant。 I think that the message is absolutely beautiful。 And, it’s not all positive and up, but Dr。 Seuss also found a great way to explain to children and adults a I’ve been wanting to read this book for the longest time, and I only got to do so recently。 My push was being that my sister is pregnant and I wanted to get something for my niece/nephew that it would enjoy and learn from as they grow up。 My sister even cried, because she thought it was beautiful and motivational。 Mind you, she is pregnant。 I think that the message is absolutely beautiful。 And, it’s not all positive and up, but Dr。 Seuss also found a great way to explain to children and adults alike that Bang-Ups and Hang-Ups are normal。 But despite that, you go on! I think that it’s absolutely wonderful that he chose to include that。 It’s always better that children are aware that things are not always gonna go there way in life。 I do appreciate how the positivity isn’t toxic, and Dr。 Seuss has found a way to emulate that in the book。 Which is great, it teaches children how to have a bright outlook on life but also makes them aware of the not so pretty moments that can happen。 Life is already as difficult as it is, but I thank this book for the heads up it gives to future generations。 。。。more

This is a great optimistic book, I remember for graduation my family got me this book and had everyone sign it。 This book represents so much more than I think Dr。 Seuss ever imagined it would。 This is a book of hope and wonder and trust that you can do anything you want to do in life。
