Emerson liked this one， but not nearly as much as a wimpy kid book。 Greg is a horribly mean “friend” to Rowley and this made the book sometimes hard to read。 I feel like Greg is downright cruel to Rowley so we spent a lot of time talking about being kind and how we treat our friends and what to do if someone treats you the way Greg treats Rowley。

I listened to this audio book with my seven-year-old daughter and she loved it！ She wants to listen to it again。 She also insisted I give it five stars。 If it were me rating it I would probably give it four stars。 but it was an enjoyable book to listen to。 We have not read the diary of a wimpy kid books， and so I guess we should look for those to learn more about this。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I liked this book！ This is about Rowley starting his own journal and Greg wanting Rowley to make it a biography about him。 So Rowley does and he tells stories about what Greg has done to him。 They have two-night sleepover and fight， Greg is a bad study partner， Greg sticks up for him when their science teacher is gone， make a superhero， etc At the end Greg doesn’t like it so Rowley goes back to writing about himself。（Lol I only do this so I can remember the story）

Skip it。 It is simply a chronicle of all the ways Grey bullies Rowley。 The other Rowley books （Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Adventure and Awesome Spooky Stories） are fun and adorable， but this one was just disappointing。
