Just don’t get it with this series I’m struggling to get through them。 The story lines are good there are just too many characters from previous series。 This ones mystery didn’t get answered and don’t see in future how it will。 It was just soso I stopped reading twice and read a different book。

This is my favorite of Kristen Ashley's new releases so far this year!I loved that although there was struggle between Axel & Hattie, it was never over the top。 It seemed as though as soon as Hattie stopped fighting, Axel was right there to be who she needed when she needed。The emotion, the beauty in Hattie's dancing, and Hawk's relationship with his men, all of these things turned this book into a 5☆ gem for me!! She's does it again。。。Another 5 star read from KA。 Not only does she write the most delicious alpha males, her mystery with it is too notch。 The show burn with Hattie and Axel make you want for more。 I cannot wait for the next installment。 She's does it again。。。Another 5 star read from KA。 Not only does she write the most delicious alpha males, her mystery with it is too notch。 The show burn with Hattie and Axel make you want for more。 I cannot wait for the next installment。 。。。more

The more KA books I read with the years the more I don't feel them anymore。 Ever since the (Dream Team ) I'm not sure exactly what the matter is with her new content that it doesn't grab me the way it used to be。 I've rated almost all of her books 5 stars。 Now I can barely enjoy let alone finish the book when I don't simply decide to just skip the book to avoid disappointment。Listen, I know, i told my self after the 2 books of this series to stay away from her new releases from now on 。 And I've The more KA books I read with the years the more I don't feel them anymore。 Ever since the (Dream Team ) I'm not sure exactly what the matter is with her new content that it doesn't grab me the way it used to be。 I've rated almost all of her books 5 stars。 Now I can barely enjoy let alone finish the book when I don't simply decide to just skip the book to avoid disappointment。Listen, I know, i told my self after the 2 books of this series to stay away from her new releases from now on 。 And I've tried, But it's KA 。 I still reread several for her books , I'm still hoping for that KA magic and I always will the next book is about Pepper, so let's hope she gets it back what ever it is 。 When I think back to Rock Chicks, Dream Man and Colorado Mountain and Chaos, I want to have that excitement I felt back then。 I did get that with the first book in this series but DREAM CHASER was already a bit of a mixed bag。 DREAM SPINNER was a continuation of that mixed bag。I didn't hate Dream Spinner but I didn't enjoy it much either。 I liked both hero and heroine okay and they were definitely cute together but I felt so detached from the plots of the story had going on。 I didn't particularly care about Hattie's ongoing problems with her dad, which seems to be the main attraction in this book for a while as it took precedence over the stalker plot in term on page count I think。 There was such a huge build up about her issues with her father but then it just magically died down after Axl had a thirty seconds "talk" with him and it was apparently enough for her dad to do a complete change of heart。 。。。more

I was given an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review。This book was just not my cup of tea。 Maybe it would have been better if it would have been prefaced with the fact that it cannot be read as a standalone。 There are SO MANY characters, and some of them have multiple nicknames。 I found it really hard to keep track of everyone, their relationships, etc。 There also seemed to be a major plot point about some sort of kidnapping or hostage situation that must have hap I was given an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review。This book was just not my cup of tea。 Maybe it would have been better if it would have been prefaced with the fact that it cannot be read as a standalone。 There are SO MANY characters, and some of them have multiple nicknames。 I found it really hard to keep track of everyone, their relationships, etc。 There also seemed to be a major plot point about some sort of kidnapping or hostage situation that must have happened in a previous book in the series that was brought up, but not really recapped well, so it was confusing。 Overall, it just felt like there was too much going on。 There seemed to be about 17 different conflicts in the story。 It definitely felt more like a suspense/ thriller than a romance。 The MCs, Axl and Hattie, each had family issues, then there was kind of a career issue for Hattie, plus a stalker? Plus some other stuff with Axl's work? To be honest, after awhile, I started skimming over the work scenes。 They just did not hold my interest, and it was already taking me forever to get through the book。 I gave this book an extra star because there was one really good sex scene。。 But the language throughout the book struck me as being incredibly immature and also unrealistic。 Hattie immediately calling Axl "honey" all the time felt inauthentic。 And the fact that everyone kept saying the words "awesome" and "rad" constantly really grated on my nerves after about 2 chapters。I might try a different book by this author in order to better judge whether I like their writing or not。 But I will say the rest of this series will be a skip for me。 。。。more

4 starsI have really enjoyed all the books in this series but I super fell in love with Axl in the other books。 This book hit in ways I wasn't expecting。 There are some hard topics in this book that just kind of hit you in the chest。 I do feel like there was a little too much at one time in spots but overall it worked itself out。 Hattie and Axl both do a LOT of growing in this book and it is great to see。 Seeing the way they are both treated by some of the people in their lives and the way that 4 starsI have really enjoyed all the books in this series but I super fell in love with Axl in the other books。 This book hit in ways I wasn't expecting。 There are some hard topics in this book that just kind of hit you in the chest。 I do feel like there was a little too much at one time in spots but overall it worked itself out。 Hattie and Axl both do a LOT of growing in this book and it is great to see。 Seeing the way they are both treated by some of the people in their lives and the way that it manifested into other things just broke my heart。 Hattie while being such a strong character is broken in so many ways and watching her heal and accept some of the help she needs is such a beautiful thing to see。 Axl obviously has his own issues but watching the way he is with Hattie is so sweet and made my heart melt。 also loved the little bits with Brett, as well as getting more information about the underlying mystery。 That is one of my favorite things about this series so far is the little bit of mystery that is attached with everything else。 Just enough to keep you on your toes!Thank you to Netgalley and Forever romance for an eARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

It has all of the good things we usually see in a KA romance, but I find that I prefer those that have a clear ending。

Dream Spinner I hate that I am writing this, it means the book is read。 I didn’t want it to stop。 One day I will go back and read all the books again。 I can’t get enough。 These books make me feel。 And it’s good, very good。

What's not to love!Once again the queen of romance has delivered! Hattie and Axls story was beautiful and I loved how from the beginning their dynamic- their destination was always to come together but with the twists and turns the queen added made you want their HEA to come hats after all they'd endured! I always enjoy Kristen Ashley's books。 Honestly, if you've read one of her books, you've read then all。 I don't mean there isn't variety in the storyline but her characters, while having their own personalities, are amazingly similar。 In this third installment of the Dream Team Series, we once again have Exotic Dancer with a messed up family falls for Hot Commando, here with an equally messed up family。 Our dirty cop mystery continues through this story。 We also are visited heavily by characters I always enjoy Kristen Ashley's books。 Honestly, if you've read one of her books, you've read then all。 I don't mean there isn't variety in the storyline but her characters, while having their own personalities, are amazingly similar。 In this third installment of the Dream Team Series, we once again have Exotic Dancer with a messed up family falls for Hot Commando, here with an equally messed up family。 Our dirty cop mystery continues through this story。 We also are visited heavily by characters from pretty much every non-fantasy series Ashley has written。 Here again, not much happens。 There is your obligatory threat to our Heroine that means our Hero must step in to protect her but, really, there's no real suspense or anything from that。 It's resolved pretty easily。 Things start to heat up with the mystery part basically in the last chapter and the epilogue。 Mostly this book resolved around family issues and Sunday brunch。 It's a nice simple read。 I would continue to recommend this series only after you've read at least the Rock Chick and Dream Man series。 Waiting for the final installment。 😊 。。。more

Sweet, fun, very KA, although totally forgetable 😓 Actually, this whole series has been: I've read them all, but if u ask me what they are about, or even the names of the MCs, for the life of me, I couldnt tell u。The most memorable character is Brett; now THERE is a book Im impatient for。 Sweet, fun, very KA, although totally forgetable 😓 Actually, this whole series has been: I've read them all, but if u ask me what they are about, or even the names of the MCs, for the life of me, I couldnt tell u。The most memorable character is Brett; now THERE is a book Im impatient for。 。。。more

Weird weird weird。。。I am Not sure why I read it, or if I liked it。。。 it felt like I had already read a similar story from the same author。。。I really don’t know if I can handle more inner ramblings from characters, also I cannot remember what is the big background conspiracy they kept talking about throughout the book lolI may add one more ⭐️ later, but for now 2 ✨ it is

It just keeps getting better! This series is one of her best! The continuing drama that follows through all of the books is suspenseful and intriguing。 But the love story here? Absolutely beautiful!

Toni

This series seems to focus more on the lead characters emotional issues。。。not on the external drama that her usual series can count on to have。 I prefer the latter。。。but I will always read whatever Kristen Ashley writes。 There’s not a lot of suspense。。。it’s nice to her references to the Rock Chicks and their men, Chaos MC and even Knight (my absolute favorite)。

Okay this was an okay book。 It had a few good parts, but is was so not my favorite in this series。 Firstly, it is not standalone, yeah you can read it but parts of the story will not make sense if you have not read the other stories in the series。 Secondly it was not the best story line, just okay。 Thirdly and most disappointing of all, it ended with a cliffhanger。 That sucks。 Not a fan of cliffhangers。

Honestly, I really wanted to like this book more because I really like Hattie and Axl。 They are cute together and KA (of Lottie) made sure she got them together。 What I wasn't a fan of was the whiplash it gave me。 One minute Hattie's dad is this piece of crap, verbal and physical abuser (past), calling her horrible names, and the next (after a dressing down from Axl) he's Mr。 Nice guy, doing things for himself and making nice。 Sorry, but that just doesn't happen, not even in quick romance。 Hatti Honestly, I really wanted to like this book more because I really like Hattie and Axl。 They are cute together and KA (of Lottie) made sure she got them together。 What I wasn't a fan of was the whiplash it gave me。 One minute Hattie's dad is this piece of crap, verbal and physical abuser (past), calling her horrible names, and the next (after a dressing down from Axl) he's Mr。 Nice guy, doing things for himself and making nice。 Sorry, but that just doesn't happen, not even in quick romance。 Hattie's mom was a throw-in and wasn't even needed as part of the book。 Now, Axl's father was a believable jerk and his mom is great。 But there was no drama!! No kidnapping or car chase or shooting。 It was just a nice quick story, but with no BAM! in-your-face storyline。 There wasn't even any resolution to the storylines that started in the first two books。 I got done with this book saying "Well I guess I have to wait for Pepper's book to get some kind of resolution。" It's unfortunate because it just feels unfinished and I hate that feeling when I end a book。 。。。more

This story is an instalment not a stand alone, and I found it to be heavy going。 Firstly, it is longer than I think the content justifies; has Ms Ashley spent so long cramming her stories into novellas that she is now out of practice at the big, sweeping stories that I love? Secondly, the extensive use of “alpha speak” in almost all conversations as well as the hero point of view sections, combined with careless formatting, made for difficult reading。 Is this enough to turn me away from a favour This story is an instalment not a stand alone, and I found it to be heavy going。 Firstly, it is longer than I think the content justifies; has Ms Ashley spent so long cramming her stories into novellas that she is now out of practice at the big, sweeping stories that I love? I did not care for this book and It hurts me to say that because I love KA。 This book had so many things happening and I’m not sure there was a good resolution to any。 The stalker situation was a bust, the dad situation for Hattie just went away and no real closure occurred。 I didn’t fall for Axl at all。 He was mediocre。 I can’t even call this erotica。 It was not explosive at all。 I really hope Pepper’s story is good。 I think she needs knew move on from these boys and find new material instead o I did not care for this book and It hurts me to say that because I love KA。 This book had so many things happening and I’m not sure there was a good resolution to any。 The stalker situation was a bust, the dad situation for Hattie just went away and no real closure occurred。 I didn’t fall for Axl at all。 He was mediocre。 I can’t even call this erotica。 It was not explosive at all。 I really hope Pepper’s story is good。 I think she needs knew move on from these boys and find new material instead of the recycle。 It’s disappointing。 。。。more
