I started to read Survivors mainly because I love dogs and the book cover just kind of spoke to me。 I also read the back and it sounded like an amazing book 。 I found the book in the school library and it sounded intriguing。 I also heard from Jayla that it was a good book to read so I decided to read it。tThe plot of the story starts after Lucky and his rescue group go to rescue Firey。 When they get there he is with lots of other animals and they are all sick from drinking poisonous water。 They a I started to read Survivors mainly because I love dogs and the book cover just kind of spoke to me。 I also read the back and it sounded like an amazing book 。 I found the book in the school library and it sounded intriguing。 I also heard from Jayla that it was a good book to read so I decided to read it。tThe plot of the story starts after Lucky and his rescue group go to rescue Firey。 When they get there he is with lots of other animals and they are all sick from drinking poisonous water。 They are able to free all of the animals， but run into Terrors pack。 With Firey so weak he dies in the fight。 During this fight Storm the Fierce Dog is able to kill Terror and his pack is free from him。 Then Lucky and the rescue party go on a long journey to find the pack since they were planning to move to a new area when they party left to go find Firey。 Once they make it to the area they see that they have settled next to an endless lake aka the ocean。 Once they are here they see how little prey there is here and on their way they see Blade and the Fierce Dog pack。 Later on in the book they have a fight with the Fierce Dogs at the lighthouse。 The Alpha of their pack is swept away in the ocean and the Fierce Dogs retreated after this Spring and Martha died and they end up with sweet as their Alpha and Lucky as Beta。 Soon the kidnap Storm as Blade for some reason wants storm and claims that they were taken from her （they weren’t as Storm’s mom was killed）。 They then make her go through the trail of rage where see has to fight her brother Fang， in the end she was supposed to kill him but refused to do so and failed the trail。 Storm fails and is rejected from the Fierce Dog pack and can finally be in the Wild Pack。 After all of this they move to a new area。 The main theme of all the Survivors books is about a street dog named Lucky helping a group of Leashed Dogs to survive in the wild after their humans flee from an earthquake aka The Big Growl。tI also really loved this book and I don’t have anything bad about to say about it。 It was everything that I have come to expect about this amazing book series。 It also does try into the hurricanes that have been happening recently and about the pets that were lost are abandoned。 It is also very sad to know that lots of the animals that this may have happened to aren’t so lucky。tI would probably recommend this to animal lovers or people who enjoy adventure stories。 It is also a good book for people who love very detailed stories。 I think that is a very good book for all ages。 If i was going to recommend it to anyone it would probably be my mom or AJ。 If anyone is to read these books I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did。tP。S。 This is the 5th Survivors book and If you want to know more I would suggest getting reviews from the other books。 。。。more

Star Rating: 5 starsNote: This is the 5th book in the Survivors series so this will not be an in-depth review。 After trying to read a new author and hating it， I decided to go back to familiar territory and picked up book 5 in the Survivors series， The Endless Lake。 This continues the story of Lucky and his new Pack as they struggle to find a place to call home in a world changed by natural disaster/environmental disaster。 Whereas the last book focused on the argument of nature vs。 nurture， this Star Rating: 5 starsNote: This is the 5th book in the Survivors series so this will not be an in-depth review。 After trying to read a new author and hating it， I decided to go back to familiar territory and picked up book 5 in the Survivors series， The Endless Lake。 This continues the story of Lucky and his new Pack as they struggle to find a place to call home in a world changed by natural disaster/environmental disaster。 Whereas the last book focused on the argument of nature vs。 nurture， this book focuses on what makes a good leader。This idea is at the core of everything that happens in this book so it is the main thing that I will be talking about in this review。 Within this series， there are many different examples of leaders that exist everywhere on the spectrum。 The longest running example of a bad leader is Alpha， the wolf-dog who currently leads Lucky’s Pack。 He is an aggressive， egotistical tyrant who refuses to like or appreciate anything that is out of his comfort zone。 For instance， he hates Lucky， the former Lone Dog， the Leashed Dogs， and Storm， the former Fierce Dog， even though they are some of the main reasons why the Pack has survived for as long as it has。 There is also Terror， a dog who suffers from mental illness and rules through fear and Blade， a dog who rules with violence。 With all these bad leaders， you may be confused when I say that this book explores what makes a good leader。 It deals with it because it showcases all of these bad leaders so flawlessly that when a great leader comes on the scene， they are very easy to identify and appreciate。 All in all， I love this series and what it is trying to teach through its fun， engaging stories。 If you like animals， then you should really try this book and this series in general。 。。。more

Very Good Book！ I am only 10 and my love for reading grew because of the survivor series！ I can now read as well as a 7th grader， and I still love to read。 I own about 50 books and have the whole survivors series！ I also own a few of their other books！
