It was a satisfying ending to the trilogy and dealt with more serious plot points than the 2nd book, such as how families change/grow and the importance of choosing the best future you can for yourself above all others。 Margo was once again extremely dislikable, as was Peter's mother, which rubbed me the wrong way, but otherwise I enjoyed it。 It was a satisfying ending to the trilogy and dealt with more serious plot points than the 2nd book, such as how families change/grow and the importance of choosing the best future you can for yourself above all others。 Margo was once again extremely dislikable, as was Peter's mother, which rubbed me the wrong way, but otherwise I enjoyed it。 。。。more

This book changed me。 This is by far my favorite out of the three。 I am writing this review because I have re-read this book for the nth time。 I wouldn’t pass up the chance to write it a review。 Lara Jean has grown from such a girl to a lady。 She has her choices, and she stands by them。 I have immense love for her character and the way she has grown with her insights and ideas。 I totally enjoyed reading the last book, stopping at some point but then not wishing for it to end but as it says, ever This book changed me。 This is by far my favorite out of the three。 I am writing this review because I have re-read this book for the nth time。 I wouldn’t pass up the chance to write it a review。 Lara Jean has grown from such a girl to a lady。 She has her choices, and she stands by them。 I have immense love for her character and the way she has grown with her insights and ideas。 I totally enjoyed reading the last book, stopping at some point but then not wishing for it to end but as it says, everything really is bound to have an end but that doesn’t mean the story is finished。 You are just opening a new chapter, that we won’t be able to see。 Peter K and Lara Jean’s relationship has ups and downs but it’s a love that will help you grow, that will stand by you even on the hard times。 This is the book where I really actually see where Peter K is coming from, I love that。 I love angst in a story so I really enjoyed that。 Covinsky are my babies and I’m sad to let them go but I know they’re doing what they love and being able to excel in it。 Jenny Han has a charm with her writing, imagine from a love letter to this。 It’s outstanding, not overly romantic, but soulful and real。 Thank you to Jenny, for bringing us this story。 I first came to know it in my teenage years and still loving it in my 20s。 I will never forget her characters, especially Lara Jean。 I will love her, Always and Forever。 。。。more

Nothing?? Happened in this book? Yes, it's about Lara Jean growing as a person and how her relationship with Peter is going, but my god, I'm just really bored by established relationship novels most of the time。 Nothing?? I love the love between Lara jean and Peter。 They are meant to be。 But I love the movies a tad better than the books, and I honestly loved the first book!! <333

I like the previous two book, but I don't expect that I'll enjoy this one so much。 4。75 to be exact because I am still annoyed with Margot for the same reason as the previous book。 😆 I love P。K the most in this book。 We can see more of the ‘real’ him。 He still made mistakes but reasonable ones and he worked to fix them 😘 I just feel that he is so sweet in this book。 I like the previous two book, but I don't expect that I'll enjoy this one so much。 4。75 to be exact because I am still annoyed with Margot for the same reason as the previous book。 😆 I love P。K the most in this book。 We can see more of the ‘real’ him。 He still made mistakes but reasonable ones and he worked to fix them 😘 I just feel that he is so sweet in this book。 。。。more

Very mixed emotions about this book honestly I thought the ending wasn't the best but also wasn't the worst for it to end。 I enjoyed most of the book, the return of a few characters was appreciated as i felt they could have had more of an interesting storyline outside of Lara Jean's one。 Very mixed emotions about this book honestly I thought the ending wasn't the best but also wasn't the worst for it to end。 I enjoyed most of the book, the return of a few characters was appreciated as i felt they could have had more of an interesting storyline outside of Lara Jean's one。 。。。more

It was a re-read, but I still loved it nevertheless! Jenny Han's writing is always so amazing and I can never get enough of it。 Not only does this book explore romance but also other important aspects of life such as college, family and friendships which is also important。 Also, I watched the movie today and there were some differences but it was still amazing。 I'm so happy with the way this story ended。 It was a re-read, but I still loved it nevertheless! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I never understood why people would say that they wish they could read a book for the very first time again。 When I reread a book, I get the exact same feelings。 Maybe I’m just easy that way。 But it was very difficult when I reread this。 For some reason。 It felt draggy and I found myself annoyed with Lara Jean’s constant overthinking and neurosis。 Her and Peter’s love story, that I found absolutely endearing the first time, I found it boring and just a little vanilla。 There was a comment one of I never understood why people would say that they wish they could read a book for the very first time again。 When I reread a book, I get the exact same feelings。 Maybe I’m just easy that way。 But it was very difficult when I reread this。 For some reason。 It felt draggy and I found myself annoyed with Lara Jean’s constant overthinking and neurosis。 Her and Peter’s love story, that I found absolutely endearing the first time, I found it boring and just a little vanilla。 There was a comment one of the girls in the book make to Lara Jean during Beach Week, saying how they thought she was so timid and babyish at first glance, and I strongly agreed。 She was just a bit too kid-like with her flower crowns and refusal to curse or even allow Peter to。 You’re eighteen for God’s sake! In hindsight, as I write this, I concede that she is still a kid。 And perhaps her ‘babyish’ personality, amplified more so in this book, goes along with that recurring theme in the book that she is faced with her future and decisions that she isn’t quite ready for yet。 She isn’t quite ready to grow up just yet。As the book neared its end I perked up and started enjoying it。 And no, its not because it was ending。 Lara Jean’s drunk scene was comical but also devastating。 It was that topple over the edge moment you wait for in a book。 Her and Peter had their futures planned almost perpendicular; even when she didn’t get into the college they’d planned to go to together, they made another plan and stuck with it。 But then she got into a different school, further away and decided she’d go there instead, and it completely derailed their plans。 But there was no proper explosion until that moment when Lara Jean was drunk and found herself breaking up with him, because she thought it was the right thing to do。 But also because of Peter’s mother。 Can we just talk about Peter’s mother! I can completely understand, even sympathize, with wanting to protect your child。 Especially from the kind of hurt you know might destroy them。 However, what I can’t sympathize with is a parent, a grown up, determined to shove their own life experiences down their children’s throat。 And this is what Peter’s mom did。 She was fearful of Peter’s devotion to Lara Jean and their relationship, rightly so, but her mistake was thinking of them not as Peter and Lara Jean but as her (Peter’s mom) and his father, they split up and got together at a young age。 I didn’t like her underlying coldness toward Lara Jean and I most definitely didn’t enjoy her calling Lara Jean over to basically tell her to break up with Peter。 。。。more

Yeah, so I cried through a chunk of the ending, feeling sorry for people。But also, yet another book that "perfectionises" the myth of the perfect ending to high school。 Sigh。 My end of high school memories look nothing like that - and I suspect not just for cultural reasons。 Yeah, so I cried through a chunk of the ending, feeling sorry for people。But also, yet another book that "perfectionises" the myth of the perfect ending to high school。 Sigh。 My end of high school memories look nothing like that - and I suspect not just for cultural reasons。 。。。more
