Комікс неймовірно сподобався！По-перше， прикольний світ， такий мікс японської традиції в дусі годзіли， лавкрафтівщинр і стімпанку， і гарно прописана міфологія。По-друге， майже всі персонажки - жінки， це справляє дуже цікаве враження - незвично， але прикольно！ Ну і очікувано - мені дуже подобаються персонажки， і позитивні， і негативні， і головні， і другорядні， прям от у кожної є характер і мотивації， і вони якісь живі дуже。 По-третє， захоплюючий сюжет із таємницями， які дуже хочеться розкрити， та е Комікс неймовірно сподобався！По-перше， прикольний світ， такий мікс японської традиції в дусі годзіли， лавкрафтівщинр і стімпанку， і гарно прописана міфологія。По-друге， майже всі персонажки - жінки， це справляє дуже цікаве враження - незвично， але прикольно！ Ну і очікувано - мені дуже подобаються персонажки， і позитивні， і негативні， і головні， і другорядні， прям от у кожної є характер і мотивації， і вони якісь живі дуже。 По-третє， захоплюючий сюжет із таємницями， які дуже хочеться розкрити， та екзистенційними пошуками героїні， напругою "мати-дочка" та "навіщо я існую"， а також посттравмою。 Дійсно глибоченько。Ну і по-четверте， це просто неймовірно красиво！！！ Монстриця з тих коміксів， це на розглядання деталей малюнку витрачаєш більше часу， ніж на читання。Одним словом， я в захваті і готова радити усім， хто не боїться графічного зображення насильства （бо там вистачає） та готовий присвятити якийсь час розплутуванню деталей про світ （бо їх багато і авторки з ходу занурюють в оповідь）。 。。。more

Wow。This comic is beautiful。 This is， hands down， the most visually pleasing trade paperback I have ever read。 I can't even stress how beautiful this is。 I don't think anyone could possibly argue with this as every other review （even the negative ones） mention the artwork。They also mention that the story is confusing。 I actually don't think it is at all。 I don't know if that's because I read a lot of fantasy anyway and the first section of any fantasy （sometimes the whole 800 page first book in Wow。This comic is beautiful。 This is， hands down， the most visually pleasing trade paperback I have ever read。 I can't even stress how beautiful this is。 I don't think anyone could possibly argue with this as every other review （even the negative ones） mention the artwork。They also mention that the story is confusing。 I actually don't think it is at all。 I don't know if that's because I read a lot of fantasy anyway and the first section of any fantasy （sometimes the whole 800 page first book in a series！） is just worldbuilding and character introductions。 I thought this actually set everything up really well and I'm excited to see what happens next。 I think by the end of chapter six you get a good idea of what might have happened to get everything rolling but I will admit that from fairly early on in the book the pace picks up exponentially and it doesn't slow down until the end。Be warned， also， that this is full of violence and gore。 This isn't for the faint of heart。 Is it strange if I say the art for even these parts is excellent？ Maybe， but it's true。I absolutely recommend this one and I can't wait to read volume two。 。。。more

Wow。 I-wow。 Okay so there is SOOOOOO MUCH PLOT in this。 SOOOOO MANY TWISTS and even has history lessons in this as well for this world。 I found myself taking breaks bc SOOO much was going on。 The writing was good。 The plot is outstanding so far。 It was so immersive。 The artwork is absolutely BEAUTIFUL！ I am so amazed and IMPRESSED ESPECIALLY since this is ONLY THE FIRST VOLUME！ Wow

I really loved this a lot。 I actually enjoy that it kinda just throws you into the story and let’s you figure it out for yourself。 I think it adds to the mystery and intrigue of the story。 And the art？ Blown away。 I love the style and the color scheme and ugh it’s so beautiful。 I will definitely be continuing on with this series。
