Part 2 is Much Better than part 1。This part follows the great grandson of Jonathan Joestar in 1938。 He was raised by Erina, his grandmother, and is close to Speedwagon, who is a sort of a uncle to him。While I get that Araki wanted to draw parallels to Jojo with JoJr, he blatantly copies some stuff。 It would've been more pleasing for more subtle nods to the Jostar legacy and morals but whatever。 Why am I even bothering lol。 Nothing in thus series is subtle。 I actually send my bf all the highly ho Part 2 is Much Better than part 1。This part follows the great grandson of Jonathan Joestar in 1938。 He was raised by Erina, his grandmother, and is close to Speedwagon, who is a sort of a uncle to him。While I get that Araki wanted to draw parallels to Jojo with JoJr, he blatantly copies some stuff。 It would've been more pleasing for more subtle nods to the Jostar legacy and morals but whatever。 Why am I even bothering lol。 Nothing in thus series is subtle。 I actually send my bf all the highly homoerotic imagery I find and we have fun making ridiculous references to these books bc Wtf lol。 。。。more

From this arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure on, I'm going in clueless having not watched the anime prior, and what a thrill ride it was! Le daría un 3,5。Este segundo arco me ha parecido que estaba mejor introducido, los personajes me convencen más y me crean más intriga。

FIVE STARS。 Definitely my favourite Jojo part, Joseph is extremely lovable, funny, and witty, while the villains of the series (the formidable Pillar Men) are equally likeable despite being villains。 The ending, which I won't spoil, is also very enjoyable。 FIVE STARS。 Definitely my favourite Jojo part, Joseph is extremely lovable, funny, and witty, while the villains of the series (the formidable Pillar Men) are equally likeable despite being villains。 The ending, which I won't spoil, is also very enjoyable。 。。。more

JoJo bizarre adventure part 2 Battle Tendency is amazing with the theme the Joestar family infinite battle against evil。 Im taking never get to cocky but hold the ones you love close and enjoy the moments you have because you never know when they will be gone。 Somethings i like (Spoilers) is how much they but humor into Joseph even in desperate times still has a sense of humor。 I love the powerful and sadness that was behind the death of Caesar Zeppeli not going to lie i tired up a bit。 and the JoJo bizarre adventure part 2 Battle Tendency is amazing with the theme the Joestar family infinite battle against evil。 Im taking never get to cocky but hold the ones you love close and enjoy the moments you have because you never know when they will be gone。 Somethings i like (Spoilers) is how much they but humor into Joseph even in desperate times still has a sense of humor。 I love the powerful and sadness that was behind the death of Caesar Zeppeli not going to lie i tired up a bit。 and the last moment Joseph sees kars and punches him is truly amazing。 i didn't like how slow it was a fist and they didn't fully utilize there characters like smokey who could have been an excellent side character。 i also didn't like how much they ethised on joseph dumbness sometimes but over this beats part 1's story。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Joseph was definitely a lot cooler than Jonathan。 Him and Caesar were definitely a duo I will never forget。 May I say as well that i was put into actual tears with the death of Caesar! He went out for his family and for his friends and died a very noble death just like Wahmu! Kars was very corrupted and I’m glad Joseph was able to launch him away into space! Definitely a way more chaotic part than phantom blood! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read!

Brilliant quality hardback for one of the most bizarre adventures imaginable。 Battle Tendency is an easier part to get into (Phantom Blood is great but can be a little off putting at times for newbies to the series, you still need to read it though) and the development of Araki's storytelling and illustration skill is showing from his starting point。 Brilliant quality hardback for one of the most bizarre adventures imaginable。 Battle Tendency is an easier part to get into (Phantom Blood is great but can be a little off putting at times for newbies to the series, you still need to read it though) and the development of Araki's storytelling and illustration skill is showing from his starting point。 。。。more

This volume got off to a slow start — it introduced new characters and the battles were, in my opinion, not very interesting。 The second half of the the book was much better, with one long battle that involved some peculiar characters。 The ending also nicely set up where the story will go in volume 2, and it seems like the story could continue to be good。

The series continues from Part 1 - Phantom BloodThe bizarre continues as years pass and our last set of characters are all old。 Erina Joestar is now Granny Joestar to one Joseph Joestar (the new JoJo, complete with built in Hamon superpowers) and Speedwagon is a rich oil tycoon。But that stuff is boring so off we go to Mexico where Speedwagon has discovered the origin of the Stone Mask that turned Dio into a vampire。 Then he gets stabbed in the back by an old friend, said old friend makes life ro The series continues from Part 1 - Phantom BloodThe bizarre continues as years pass and our last set of characters are all old。 Erina Joestar is now Granny Joestar to one Joseph Joestar (the new JoJo, complete with built in Hamon superpowers) and Speedwagon is a rich oil tycoon。But that stuff is boring so off we go to Mexico where Speedwagon has discovered the origin of the Stone Mask that turned Dio into a vampire。 Then he gets stabbed in the back by an old friend, said old friend makes life rough for JoJo in New York, which gives the Nazis time to invade the super secret Mexican temple with the creepy masks and the Pillar Man。 I'm not kidding。 Part 2 - Battle Tendency has 4 volumes。 。。。more

On the verge of four stars。 This time we jump fifty years into the future with a new Jojo—an intelligent and arrogant Jojo who has to fight first against an old friend who has become a vampire because he can’t stand getting older (I can relate a little, heh)。 And then gets entangled with Nazis and a strange entity known as the pillar man。 The proceedings are about as insane as usual, though they feel a bit warmed over since Jojo already defeated Dio, another more famous vampire in the first stor On the verge of four stars。 This time we jump fifty years into the future with a new Jojo—an intelligent and arrogant Jojo who has to fight first against an old friend who has become a vampire because he can’t stand getting older (I can relate a little, heh)。 And then gets entangled with Nazis and a strange entity known as the pillar man。 The proceedings are about as insane as usual, though they feel a bit warmed over since Jojo already defeated Dio, another more famous vampire in the first story arc。 Still this volume has a lot of insane moments which make the story quite entertaining, 。。。more
