A well written and beautifully illustrated first volume。 I lived the game and this first volume does the story justice。

My kids play this game。 My daughter loves this series and asked me to read the first book。 Yeah, it's good even for me who hasn't played any Zelda game。 My kids play this game。 My daughter loves this series and asked me to read the first book。 Yeah, it's good even for me who hasn't played any Zelda game。 。。。more

As a Legend of Zelda fan, it was about time I read this! The art is simply phenomenal, and it’s interesting to see them develop the characters in new ways。 This manga is definitely for teens on up due to the dark atmosphere, serious themes, and violence。 It is a little funny how young Link looks at the beginning of Book 1 compared to the end。 I guess anger ages you。 😂My one complaint is that despite the art being beautiful, the action can be a bit crowded and hard to follow on such small pages。 As a Legend of Zelda fan, it was about time I read this! A good manga & interpertation of the game's story。 Not pulling up any trees, but enjoyable。 A good manga & interpertation of the game's story。 Not pulling up any trees, but enjoyable。 。。。more

Good writing and illustration, but the only thing that bugs me is that the characters seem nothing like how they are in the actual game。 This could be due to when the book was make or the authors interpretation, but I just wish it was more accurate to the game。

This just gives me the biggest urge to turn on my Wii and play the game!I remember reading manga when I was younger and would always go the library, so this felt so nostalgic and fun to read。 I enjoy the world of Twilight Princess and I'm excited to continue this series and eventually play the game。 This just gives me the biggest urge to turn on my Wii and play the game!I remember reading manga when I was younger and would always go the library, so this felt so nostalgic and fun to read。 I enjoy the world of Twilight Princess and I'm excited to continue this series and eventually play the game。 。。。more

It doesn't bring action to this book, it just focuses on Link wasting some time in orlin village, I love when Link transformed into the wolf that may be my fav scene of the tp books/games, I know what happened in the game, but am looking forward of what'll happen next in the books! After playing LOZ: BotW I have been interested into this world。 I picked this up and had fun reading it。 The art is very different from the games, the bokoblins were much more intimidating。 The plot is good enough to catch your attention and leave you wanting more。

I’m going back and forth on how I feel about Link’s little backstory here, but overall, I’m loving this one! One of the problems I’ve had in the past with Zelda mangas is that the pacing felt so rushed, so I was glad when I saw that this particular story had been serialized into multiple volumes, which I figured would more or less solve that。 So far, so good! What a relief too, as Twilight Princess is one of my favorite Zelda games, story-wise, I don’t think I would’ve forgiven them if they didn’t do a good job on the manga。 But while this manga isn’t an exact retelling of the video game story - it adds and morphs bits and pieces so it’ll feel more like a novel than a video game, naturally - but they’ve done that with all the Zelda mangas so far, and I’m glad of that because we’ve already seen the original story。 We want greater depth in the world and characters in the manga, and it’s being deliciously delivered here!On to volume two! Hee hee! 。。。more

I love TLOZ world。The games are so much fun and bring me so much joy in life。So when I heard there was a GOOD manga series currently still running, I knew I had to try it out。 And trust me when I say that it did not disappoint!!Link is funny and witty, but at the same time has this dark past that haunts him。 I devoured the pages to find out what had happened and what was going to happen to him and the village next。 Already have the second volume ready to be read soon。If you like The Legend of Ze I love TLOZ world。The games are so much fun and bring me so much joy in life。So when I heard there was a GOOD manga series currently still running, I knew I had to try it out。 And trust me when I say that it did not disappoint!!Link is funny and witty, but at the same time has this dark past that haunts him。 I devoured the pages to find out what had happened and what was going to happen to him and the village next。 Already have the second volume ready to be read soon。If you like The Legend of Zelda, definitely give it a go! 。。。more

When I game, I game for the storyline。 The actual gameplay doesn't interest me all that much (which might be why, despite a very repetitive gameplay, I ADORED the first Assassin's Creed game)。 I've always wanted to get properly into the LoZ fandom and I think I just found the perfect media。 I love the mix of humour and gritty background stories so far, though some of the world building is a bit difficult to follow。 Gonna chuck through these in no time。 When I game, I game for the storyline。 The actual gameplay doesn't interest me all that much (which might be why, despite a very repetitive gameplay, I ADORED the first Assassin's Creed game)。 I've always wanted to get properly into the LoZ fandom and I think I just found the perfect media。 I love the mix of humour and gritty background stories so far, though some of the world building is a bit difficult to follow。 Gonna chuck through these in no time。 。。。more

This first volume is soooooo good! The Legend of Zelda is one of the greatest modern fairytales, and this graphic novel does not disappoint。 I love the King Arthur allusions throughout the first volume as well。 They tie the Legend of Zelda into the tradition of fairytales and legends really well。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Twilight Princess is by far my favorite Zelda game and it has been a long time since I've last experienced it。 So it was a really happy surprise when I discovered a manga for the game existed。 This manga adapts the original story exceptionally well and manages to add additional layers of depth。 Specifically, I was very fond of Link's back story because it really adds more to his character。 Speaking of which, he actually speaks! (something that actually gives him much more personality)。 I also re Twilight Princess is by far my favorite Zelda game and it has been a long time since I've last experienced it。 So it was a really happy surprise when I discovered a manga for the game existed。 This manga adapts the original story exceptionally well and manages to add additional layers of depth。 Specifically, I was very fond of Link's back story because it really adds more to his character。 Speaking of which, he actually speaks! Personally I wasn’t that interested in the back story of some of the characters。 I didn’t really understand how or why he shared a bond with this “golden wolf” or why this wolf was in his dreams to begin with。 Although, I did enjoy seeing Link help out as a ranch hand and just him at the village in general。

Definitely the best of the Zelda adaptation so far。 Twilight Princess if one of my favorite installments in the Nintendo game series, so it's no surprise that I enjoyed this manga。 As always, the art was fantastic。 The scenes are incredibly dynamic and picturesque。 I liked that it was paced much slower than the previous mangas。 Whereas the earlier books would tackle a great deal of the dungeons in the first part (if the book even had a second!), Link barely leaves the starting village in this。 T Definitely the best of the Zelda adaptation so far。 Twilight Princess if one of my favorite installments in the Nintendo game series, so it's no surprise that I enjoyed this manga。 As always, the art was fantastic。 The scenes are incredibly dynamic and picturesque。 I liked that it was paced much slower than the previous mangas。 Whereas the earlier books would tackle a great deal of the dungeons in the first part (if the book even had a second!), Link barely leaves the starting village in this。 Twilight is one of the more adult video games in the Zelda franchise anyway, so, unsurprisingly, this manga differs from its predecessors。 It is much more complex, and so needs more time to tell the story。 I'm glad Akira Himekawa recognizes that, and I look forward to reading the second part。 I would recommend this book, and honestly any of the previous Zelda adaptations, to anyone who is a fan of the Nintendo games or simple fantasy manga more generally。 。。。more

Twilight Princess is by far my favorite tLoZ game ever。 I've played it 3 times, and I've been thinking about playing it again lately。 But I don't have a lot of time to game these days, so I thought maybe the manga would still my hunger。 So far, it's only fed the fire, so to speak, as I WANT MORE! So gooood!!! Read in one sitting, so addictive 😍Link and all the characters are filled with so much personality。 We see the goofy hilarity and caring friendships as we begin, and deeper bonds and marks of the past as we continue。 So excited for the rest of the series 😍
