This last instalment of The Promise was so great! I loved seeing the band back together and I actually laughed out loud at a couple of parts, also the ending was fantastic and I cannot wait to read the next mini series, The Search!

I am not even kidding when I say that I cried over the mere sight of Uncle Iroh🥺❤ I hope he'll be in the other comics as well。 Fingers crossed。🤞⚜ I also loved seeing the conflict that Zuko and Aang were facing with themselves in this book。 It was just so wonderfully show。 I just can't believe how real this world feels。 The creators of this series are geniuses and this series is just everything。 I am not even kidding when I say that I cried over the mere sight of Uncle Iroh🥺❤ I hope he'll be in the other comics as well。 Fingers crossed。🤞⚜ I also loved seeing the conflict that Zuko and Aang were facing with themselves in this book。 It was just so wonderfully show。 I just can't believe how real this world feels。 The creators of this series are geniuses and this series is just everything。 。。。more

I really did like the end of this story。 I think it wrapped everything up but also expanded the policies of the world and also it was such a well crafted story。 I really loved seeing how these characters expanded and focused on both their relationships but also the avatar world overall。 I am really excited to check out more stories in this line of comics。

3。5 starsBetter than Part 2。 A half star more for Team Avatar, Avatar Aang, and the appearance of Uncle Iroh。 We finally came to the solution that was painfully obvious。 Love Toph and her slides。 I laughed every time Sokka cringed。

Another amazing addition to the Avatar world。 I love that these are new stories and not a retelling。 The Zuko content pulls at my heart strings。 I love him so much and I loved his character development throughout The Promise。

Read on Libby。 To sum up the story, I give 4,3 🌟 for these books。 As a whole, I love the story。 The first chapter made me cringe out coz what Katara-Aang did, the second one made me feel something I can't explain coz what Toph said, and the third one made my tears stream go down。 😂 It feels like I see the development of the characters。 Avatar is the best example how the characters are flawed, not exactly bad or good。 The decision that they made, the dilemma of the characters are on Point。 I love Read on Libby。 To sum up the story, I give 4,3 🌟 for these books。 As a whole, I love the story。 The first chapter made me cringe out coz what Katara-Aang did, the second one made me feel something I can't explain coz what Toph said, and the third one made my tears stream go down。 😂 It feels like I see the development of the characters。 Avatar is the best example how the characters are flawed, not exactly bad or good。 The decision that they made, the dilemma of the characters are on Point。 I love it so much!! 。。。more

It was really good to see Team Avatar coming together, and solving modern issues。 Made me ponder about partition of two nations, and sometimes how weak people come to conclusion without any awareness。 While strong ones struggle to make a decision, considering all the possible situations。 Sokka and Toph were hilarious。 No one gets oggies any more。 Oh, and Azula is back! More in love with the fire lord, Zuko!

Mandatory to finish after part 1 and 2。 The political and friendship tension between Aang and Lord Fire Zuko makes you think about what would you do if you were in Aang shoes。 Worth it!

What about the colonies of Fire Nation citizens set up and established in the Earth Kingdom, when their lives, futures, and families are so deeply intertwined? The issues are no longer black and white, and Zuko is the voice for his people。 To complicate issues, he took the throne by force, and the "rightful" Fire Lord and his heir are kept incarcerated under Zuko's rule。 Many citizens of the Fire Nation long for the days where they made the decisions, and fear their new lord is just a pawn of the Avatar。 Zuko needs to build that confidence among his people。The story unfolds pretty naturally, though some parts are awkward, like Aang and Katara's relationship。 In that way, it's very like a new relationship between a couple that is so young。 They strive to act like adults in love, but are so new to it, they can't help but be cliche。 Honestly, I'm not a traditional romantic, so other than it being a necessary progression to the next generation, I'm not particularly enamored with it seeping in and through the whole story。 No harm is done by it though, and I'm sure the romantics out there would enjoy the snippets of budding and growing relationships。Conclusion? Like all well done political style points, there is no real, permanent solution。 They find one; It works for that moment in time; The solution has equal parts hopes for the future and potential for disaster。 I won't go in to details other than it represents true compromise and growth。 Everyone one is not totally satisfied, but enough appeasement is in place to allow those involved to move forward。The real conclusion comes in the way of characters progressing。 Zuko opens dialogue with his father, learns when to seek counsel (and from who), and grounds his claim to the throne among his people。 Aang progresses on his spiritual path, at odds with the advice of the Avatars of the past, in conflict with his personal system of belief and his role as Avatar, and how all of these bigger issues don't remove him from his role as an adolescent boy trying to form and maintain friendships across the boundaries of nations, beliefs, and roles thrust upon them in that world。If you liked the television series, you will probably enjoy this。 。。。more
