this is hands down one of my favorites from the briar u/off campus series i really enjoyed it！ i loved brenna and jake’s relationship and banter they were so cute。 all of the characters were extremely likeable and was overall a really fun read。 i also liked how there was a lot of humor but it also touched on more serious topics

3。5 stars I love when books have badass girls， it happens on fantasy when the female is strong and awesome。 But it’s even more unique to find a bad girl who isn’t afraid to speak up and defend herself。 I love that about this book。However， I feel like the last 150 pages were kind of boring， I felt the plot for the end was a little bit unnecessary。 So maybe that’s why I’m not giving this book a solid 4 star or even a 5。 I enjoyed it， but didn’t love it as a whole。
