Summary

Moral allegory and spiritual autobiography, The Little Prince is the most translated book in the French language。 With a timeless charm it tells the story of a little boy who leaves the safety of his own tiny planet to travel the universe, learning the vagaries of adult behaviour through a series of extraordinary encounters。 His personal odyssey culminates in a voyage to Earth and further adventures。

Letter to a Hostage, which contains certain themes that were to appear in The Little Prince, is Saint-Exupery's optimistic and humane open letter to a Jewish intellectual hiding in occupied France in 1943。

Es un libro que entienden los niños, pero lo valore más de adulta。

This was a very short read, but I enjoyed it。 Makes you think about the world and what's really important。 I think it lacked worldview of issues in general (as it critiqued people that took the wrong things seriousy, like adult life and the things they do) but I mostly agreed with what was touched on。 Gotta be a little bit more openminded and creative in what you find important。 This was a very short read, but I enjoyed it。 Makes you think about the world and what's really important。 I think it lacked worldview of issues in general (as it critiqued people that took the wrong things seriousy, like adult life and the things they do) but I mostly agreed with what was touched on。 Gotta be a little bit more openminded and creative in what you find important。 。。。more

Tbh I think I need a reread of this already because I didn’t savour its words enough。 I feel as though I’ve only just touched the cusp of its meanings and value, so I shall return here in the near future!

3。5/5This was really sweet and I understand why everyone loves it so much。 It has such a nice message about appreciating the little things and seeing the uniqueness of all things。 It's really great and the writing was really well done too。 I think I would have appreciated it more/understood it more if I didn't read this while I was tired and had a headache。 How's the fact that I've owned a physical copy of this for 20 years and only just read it now。 3。5/5This was really sweet and I understand why everyone loves it so much。 It has such a nice message about appreciating the little things and seeing the uniqueness of all things。 It's really great and the writing was really well done too。 I think I would have appreciated it more/understood it more if I didn't read this while I was tired and had a headache。 How's the fact that I've owned a physical copy of this for 20 years and only just read it now。 。。。more

One of the few books whose film was perhaps better。 The book is short, well written and has the "aha" moments to keep you engaged。 All in all, a good read for a lazy afternoon when you want to contemplate your life and childhood, but not in a sad way。 One of the few books whose film was perhaps better。 The book is short, well written and has the "aha" moments to keep you engaged。 All in all, a good read for a lazy afternoon when you want to contemplate your life and childhood, but not in a sad way。 。。。more

Have you ever wondered what it's like to travel planets to planets? Well in this book the little prince travel from planet to planet because he felt unhappy on his planet。 This book has a theme of loneliness and sadness because the little prince lives on his planet alone。 I recommend this book to everyone because it's a very easy read but it goes really deep on topics, I want you to read it to find out and view it from your own perspective。 The genre of this book is Novella。 Have you ever wondered what it's like to travel planets to planets? Un très beau conte philosophique et poétique 💛

Цей твір вражає мене кожного разу, як я перечитую його。 Маленький принц – це мудра і добра історія, в якій просто і проникливо йдеться про найважливіше: про дружбу і любов, про вірність, про красу й нетерпимість до зла та несправедливості。

The most meaningful book you must read even if you are a fully grown up。 This could give you so many questions regarding relations with your friends or family。 How you could cherish what you have free from greed we all always have had deep inside。 Once you touch this book and start to flip the pages, you cant stop yourself from thinking of yourself in every possible way :) So amazing work Sanitexupery made for the future generations。 Please read it and make yourself better !

If you are interested in finding out the answer, go read the book。tOverall, it is a nice book to read, but since it lacks the climax, it might not be interesting to those who like exciting scenes and plots。 It is more suitable to read during leisure time。 。。。more

My all time favorite。 We are all children, just in adult bodies。 Being children, is a huge part of each of us。 I have read this book at least 20 times in different languages (this book has been written originally in french, too bad I don't speak french) it takes you less than 2 hours to read。 Consider honoring the Little You that still remains, and resides within you, and read this salute to childhood, to innocence, and to you。 My all time favorite。 We are all children, just in adult bodies。 Being children, is a huge part of each of us。 I have read this book at least 20 times in different languages (this book has been written originally in french, too bad I don't speak french) it takes you less than 2 hours to read。 Consider honoring the Little You that still remains, and resides within you, and read this salute to childhood, to innocence, and to you。 。。。more

Finally got around to reading this poignant little book。 For a children’s book, The Little Prince is quite odd and quite sad, a mournful elegy for lost childhood innocence。 Very beautiful, I think I’d like to read it again, this time in one sitting instead of strung out over a month or so。
