This is FANTASTIC! I want to own this book and you should too! A book for all ages that you could look at and study for hours。 Might make a great graduation gift or end of year teacher gift。

I loved this book, was deeply confused by it, and wonder if it should be shelved in the children’s section。 It would be a great challenge for teens, and the adults I know who read it liked it, but I think it would scare the bejeezus out of American kids。

Hi, everyone!I'm working for a Russian website dedicated to children's books and children's reading Papmambook。ru。 We've been building the English version of the website。 Recently we've published a review of Everybody Counts, where the author talks about how the book subtly shows children that there are no people with greater or lesser worth in society。 Hi, everyone!I'm working for a Russian website dedicated to children's books and children's reading Papmambook。ru。 We've been building the English version of the website。 Recently we've published a review of Everybody Counts, where the author talks about how the book subtly shows children that there are no people with greater or lesser worth in society。 。。。more

Super cool book!

A very different search book。 It has one looking for connections between people and guessing people’s connections from small clues。 It can be tricky but there are answers provided in the back。

Ok。 Maybe it's a Michelle-Thing, but this book seems very quirky! Not a good interactive read aloud。 Best use is a lap book or a read-it-on-your-own book。 Author/Illustrator, Kristin Roskifte, includes lots of details in the illustrations and the reader is challenged to predict, infer, and find details within those illustrations。 It's a bit like the Richard Scarry books of my childhood。 Lest you think you're off the hook when you find (or don't) a detail, there is a QUIZ at the end of the book。 Ok。 Maybe it's a Michelle-Thing, but this book seems very quirky! Such a fun yet emotional educational way to count。 Every page is full of life and wonder。 Guessing what is happening and figuring out who is who makes counting more exciting。

This book is weird。 It's also neat。 For kids who enjoy looking at small details, this will be fun。 If you're narrative-driven, it's a bit of a miss。 This book is weird。 It's also neat。 For kids who enjoy looking at small details, this will be fun。 If you're narrative-driven, it's a bit of a miss。 。。。more

I’ve read more picture books than most people, and sometimes I think I’ve heard every story。 And then I run across Everybody Counts and I smile。 Everybody is a counting book and a Where’s Waldo-ish book as well as a picture book filled with stories。 Here’s a typical page: There is an illustration of a hospital ER, drawn in blue, with chairs and magazines, and an attendant, and with seventeen people pictured in full color。 The text: “Seventeen people in the emergency room。 One of them hopes to re I’ve read more picture books than most people, and sometimes I think I’ve heard every story。 And then I run across Everybody Counts and I smile。 Everybody is a counting book and a Where’s Waldo-ish book as well as a picture book filled with stories。 Here’s a typical page: There is an illustration of a hospital ER, drawn in blue, with chairs and magazines, and an attendant, and with seventeen people pictured in full color。 The text: “Seventeen people in the emergency room。 One of them hopes to recover before the costume parade。 Nine of them are frustrated they have to wait so long。 One of them loses something。”I found it endlessly fascinating。 。。。more

Definitely for older kids, but I love the sense of humour, and the overall message of the book! Wonderful way to spend the time together。

This was such a funny book。 Some things made no sense but in a funny way like how one lady always takes selfies all the time! Amazing love it。 ☆☆☆☆☆

Amazing book, a first it was completely random! No idea was put into it I thought, but I was completely wrong! The book made me laugh and just wonder。 (view spoiler)[ Look out for the old woman behind the priest on page 15 and continue the lookout, she is so creepy and goes to random people's funerals。 This was so funny。 (hide spoiler)] The trick to understanding everything is to look at it all first and read with it then look over it again you'll see a story with so many people involved not Amazing book, a first it was completely random!

Bright and colorful picture book about how everyone has their own thoughts and story。

I really like this overall and as a concept。 I got a little bored midway through。 It is long。
