Perfectly cheesy hot romance。 There were definitely parts that made me cringe a little， or a lot。 But overall enjoyed the read， demolished it in a day。 Could take Garret or any of those hockey boys any day of the week。 Looking forward to the rest of the series。

Eu achei um livro muitoooo gostoso de ler， era tudo o que eu tava precisando depois de ler dois calhamaços maçantes。O fato de eu ter gostado do livro não me fez fechar os olhos pra certos erros e furos na história， ele não é perfeito （tem coisas na obra que você tem que ler e deixar passar batido e não refletir muito sobre algumas frases） certas coisas acontecem de forma muito conveniente e tal， mas eu só queria ler uma coisa leve e fofa。 E Elle Kennedy entregou o que eu queria。Não é só um clich Eu achei um livro muitoooo gostoso de ler， era tudo o que eu tava precisando depois de ler dois calhamaços maçantes。O fato de eu ter gostado do livro não me fez fechar os olhos pra certos erros e furos na história， ele não é perfeito （tem coisas na obra que você tem que ler e deixar passar batido e não refletir muito sobre algumas frases） certas coisas acontecem de forma muito conveniente e tal， mas eu só queria ler uma coisa leve e fofa。 E Elle Kennedy entregou o que eu queria。Não é só um clichê que eu sou viciada （cão e gato + enemies to lovers） é também repleto de momentos engraçados， não só com o casal principal mas também a interação com os amigos。 Trata de assuntos pesados （o que me pegou desprevenida， eu não esperava ter tantas problemáticas envolvendo a história）， mas também de superação， confiança， amizade， me peguei tendo crises de tanto amor por TODO o time de hóquei （eu quero muito ler o livro do Logan！！！！）Tem cenas hot。。。 e meu deus do céu， a primeira cena， sinceramente， só perde pra ACOMAF。 Cabaré pegou fogo。Eu amei， achei divertido， obviamente muito romântico e me deixou super carente。 。。。more

"The Deal" hat mich wirklich zwiegespalten hinterlassen。 Einerseits konnte ich das Buch kaum weglesen， weil ein richtiger Sog entstanden war und ich so mit Hannah und Garrett gefiebert habe， ob sie endlich ihr Glück finden。 Andererseits haben mich einige Themen und Plotpoints sehr geärgert und ich will sie auch nicht unter den Tisch fallen lassen， indem ich sage "so schnell gelesen， muss super gewesen sein"。 CN Review: VergewaltigungIch bin strikt für Triggerwarnungen in Büchern， auch und gerade "The Deal" hat mich wirklich zwiegespalten hinterlassen。 Einerseits konnte ich das Buch kaum weglesen， weil ein richtiger Sog entstanden war und ich so mit Hannah und Garrett gefiebert habe， ob sie endlich ihr Glück finden。 Andererseits haben mich einige Themen und Plotpoints sehr geärgert und ich will sie auch nicht unter den Tisch fallen lassen， indem ich sage "so schnell gelesen， muss super gewesen sein"。 CN Review: VergewaltigungIch bin strikt für Triggerwarnungen in Büchern， auch und gerade in NA-Romanen。 Sicher， irgendwie muss jeder Charakter hier seine tragische Backstory haben， die er dann gemeinsam mit dem Partner-to-be dem Leser erzählt und aufarbeitet etc。 etc。 Und dass Klappentexte damit nicht hausieren gehen， ist auch klar。 Irgendwie erwartet man ja als Leserin， dass irgendwas furchtbares passiert ist。 Dennoch fände ich es schön， wenn es diese Warnungen gäbe und man sich dann entsprechend die Bücher aussucht， die einen nicht zu sehr belasten。 Bei "The Deal" dauert es immerhin so 10 Sätze， bis Hannah sagt "nach meiner Vergewaltigung"， so dass man Autorin oder Verlag nicht vorwerfen kann， hier wäre etwas versteckt geblieben。 Hätte ich bereut， das Buch aufgrund so einer Triggerwarnung nie gekauft oder gelesen zu haben？ Hm。 Schwer zu sagen。 Ich wollte die Reihe lesen und mir wurde empfohlen bei 1 anzufangen und ich mochte Hannah， aber teilweise war es auch sehr， sehr schwer zu lesen。 Die Vergewaltigung ist hier wirklich Backstory - ihre anschließende Therapie ist abgeschlossen， bis auf ein paar kleine Verhaltensweisen ist Hannah im Alltag dadurch nicht eingeschränkt。 Und dennoch bestimmt es ihr ganzes Leben und zwar auf sehr sehr niederschmetternde Art。 （view spoiler）[Ihre Familie ist finanziell ruiniert durch Anwaltskosten， bei denen sie dennoch verloren haben， sozial isoliert， weil Hannahs Vergewaltiger ohne Strafe davon gekommen ist und die Stadt ihm glaubt， nicht ihr， Hannah bezieht ihr Unvermögen， beim Sex mit einem Mann zu kommen， auf die Vergewaltigung （hide spoiler）]Es klingt viel deprimierender als es sich im Buch liest。 Irgendwie ist Hannah immer fröhlich und obwohl das Buch an einigen Stellen versucht， dem "Romantische Liebe heilt alles" zu entkommen （z。B。 Erwähnung ihrer Therapeutin）， ist es doch sehr präsent。 Dazu kamen noch einige Dramen， die ganz plötzlich auftauchen， während andere einfach fallen gelassen oder übersprungen werden。 Gerade im letzten Viertel gibt es unglaublich viele übersprungene Stellen， die ganz kurz abgehandelt werden， weil das Buch ja ohnehin schon sehr lang ist für das Genre。 Hm。 Hm。 Ich bin nicht glücklich mit dem Buch， aber ich liebe Kennedys Schreibstil und bin gespannt auf die Entwicklung der nächsten Romane。 Und plädiere weiterhin für Bücher ohne Vergewaltigungen， in denen es Frauen eben passiert und sie stärker werden dadurch und all dieser Mist。 Sehr eingeschränkte Leseempfehlung von mir nur。 。。。more

As a huge hockey fan and person that played for 10 years as a kid， I am so disappointed in my self for just now discovering this genre！ Omg I am obsessed and I have a feeling I will be sticking right here for weeks to come。 These stories are right up my alley。 Hockey。 Romance。 Sex。 Literally the only things I ever want to read about。 I immediately picked up The Mistake and have since done nothing but read for days。 Highly recommend for the sexy romance lover。

“Baby， I could watch you watching paint dry， and I still wouldn’t be bored。”Garret Graham I adore you。This book was。。。 amazing， if i'm being frank。 There was not a single point in this book were I was bored or uninterested or found a plot point to be dumb （which can't be said about all of Kennedy's books）。 Perfectly written Fluff， perfectly written Smut and perfectly written characters。 The use of more adult and serious content was done tastefully and educationally and wasn't just a plot point b “Baby， I could watch you watching paint dry， and I still wouldn’t be bored。”Garret Graham I adore you。This book was。。。 amazing， if i'm being frank。 There was not a single point in this book were I was bored or uninterested or found a plot point to be dumb （which can't be said about all of Kennedy's books）。 Perfectly written Fluff， perfectly written Smut and perfectly written characters。 The use of more adult and serious content was done tastefully and educationally and wasn't just a plot point but rather written to add to the story arc of Hannah and Garret， it was refreshing actually。Are there some issues with the book？ Yes。 There were points were some comments made border lined misogynistic and some parts felt very Wattpad-like and predictable。。。 but， it's a book！ A fictional， trashy， comfort read book that isn't meant to be perfect and life- changing。 Read it as a book that you will love and feel happy while reading， without the expectation of feeling enlightened， is my advice。 Sad to be so late to these book but now I definitely plan on reading the rest of the series， and look forward to seeing the rest of these Hockey Briar U boys find love。 4/5 would recommend。 。。。more
