of course the paper girls had to visit Y2K！！！ i love it！！！this volume is the most urgent and action-packed thus far。 our clan is being pursued by authorities from the future。。。 （view spoiler）[ including adult jahpo， the infant they saved in the past！！ wow。 （hide spoiler）]it was a really intense choice to have tiffany， our black MC， put her hands up for the police， be detained， and subsequently save the rude cop from a burning cop car。 she's a badass with a big heart。 i have a lot of empathy for of course the paper girls had to visit Y2K！！！ i love it！！！this volume is the most urgent and action-packed thus far。 our clan is being pursued by authorities from the future。。。 （view spoiler）[ including adult jahpo， the infant they saved in the past！！ wow。 （hide spoiler）]it was a really intense choice to have tiffany， our black MC， put her hands up for the police， be detained， and subsequently save the rude cop from a burning cop car。 she's a badass with a big heart。 i have a lot of empathy for adult tiffany of 1999， a bold goth girl who wants to go back to 1988 so she can prevent world disasters and have a do-over on her life。i'm surprised and pleased with the speed of KJ's identity realization and coming out to mac and erin。 KJ is quietly unapologetic， and it's really well done so far。 it'll be cool if mac stops being homophobic and bitter。things also get way deeper into the complicated scifi realm here。 some of it went over my head， but i'm still digging it！！btw， i really enjoyed this altruistic subversion of the classic old movie ripping-page-from-phonebook thing:["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]> 。。。more

This is fun。 Have a lot more to build a bigger world with history that I want to see more of。 Characters are being explored。 Some more annoying than others although realistically yet a little forced。 If the harm and ignorance of homophobia is the lesson to be learned I think we learned that a book ago。 It’s a good lesson to learn but any lesson can be over done。 It wasn’t here but i have a feeling that the horse is gonna get a couple more beatings。Stoked on reading the next。

I just reread it， and I somehow liked it more this time than the previous one。 I think now that I reread the full story and remember the whole timeline its way better to remember the characters and the context of everything that is going on。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I own vol 1 & 2 and continued digitally。 Vol 4 made me decide to get the Delux collected volumes to enjoy again later。I enjoyed the Y2K visit， learning more about the time travelers， and seeing KJ accept that she's a lesbian even though her friends may not be comfortable with it。 It was fun seeing one more girl learn their future。 I love this girls。Because 2 girls ended up doing less than they expected， I wonder if the time travelers did something to break up this group and reach for less。 Or is I own vol 1 & 2 and continued digitally。 Vol 4 made me decide to get the Delux collected volumes to enjoy again later。I enjoyed the Y2K visit， learning more about the time travelers， and seeing KJ accept that she's a lesbian even though her friends may not be comfortable with it。 It was fun seeing one more girl learn their future。 I love this girls。Because 2 girls ended up doing less than they expected， I wonder if the time travelers did something to break up this group and reach for less。 Or is it just the confusion over their vague memories of this adventure？ 。。。more
