Summary

As we continue to meet new team members and learn how they play and their position in the game， the interactions between characters get that much better。 This is a really good cast for a series。 Seeing Hinata and Kageyama work together and astonish Blue Castle was a great series of chapters。 That last chapter did a lot of teasing for the future。 The broken broom。 The appearance of Nishinoya。 The potential return of Coach Ukai。 Next volume seems like it'll be a doozy。 As we continue to meet new team members and learn how they play and their position in the game， the interactions between characters get that much better。 This is a really good cast for a series。 Seeing Hinata and Kageyama work together and astonish Blue Castle was a great series of chapters。 That last chapter did a lot of teasing for the future。 The broken broom。 The appearance of Nishinoya。 The potential return of Coach Ukai。 Next volume seems like it'll be a doozy。 。。。more

A spoiler（ish） Review （kinda） of This Volume:I loved the plot and all the new characters added this volume。 So far， we've got this guy:And of coarse we have the one and only Onion head:The ever inspiring Takeda:And just a glimpse of everyone's favorite Libero:I don't have much to add here that I didn't add to my previous review。 The art is still great。 I love the characters， and sometimes the translation can irk me， but it's nonetheless a great volume。The one thing I did have to mention was that A spoiler（ish） Review （kinda） of This Volume:I loved the plot and all the new characters added this volume。 So far， we've got this guy:And of coarse we have the one and only Onion head:The ever inspiring Takeda:And just a glimpse of everyone's favorite Libero:I don't have much to add here that I didn't add to my previous review。 The art is still great。 I love the characters， and sometimes the translation can irk me， but it's nonetheless a great volume。The one thing I did have to mention was that I saw someone talking about how， so far， it doesn't have great female representation， and I （a female who is critical of female representation in the media） am here to say that it gets a lot better。 Yes， so far Kiyoko hasn't been talked about much besides her looks， but that is because there hasn't been time for it。 She gets more time later in there series。 There also comes in more female characters， but obviously there aren't going to be as many female characters as male， because it is about a boys volleyball team。 Later， there come in some really inspirational female managers that I quite enjoy。 When the full cast of characters comes in， the representation is much better， and no one is sexualized or unproportionate。 。。。more

Volume 2 complete！ Still so much fun， and there were many moments that made me laugh out loud。 The characters are just so damn likable， even the characters from the rival school。I like the pacing of the story， as it progresses fairly steadily。 I also appreciated the parts where they explained the positions and some of the actions in volleyball， since some readers （myself included） might not be that familiar with the sport， so we’re better able to immerse ourselves in the story。And the part where Volume 2 complete！ Still so much fun， and there were many moments that made me laugh out loud。 The characters are just so damn likable， even the characters from the rival school。I like the pacing of the story， as it progresses fairly steadily。 I also appreciated the parts where they explained the positions and some of the actions in volleyball， since some readers （myself included） might not be that familiar with the sport， so we’re better able to immerse ourselves in the story。And the part where Hinata serves into the back of Kageyama’s head will never not make me laugh。 。。。more

I read this book with a paper copy。 The reason I chose this book is because since it is about volleyball and I like volleyball， I decided to pick it up since it looks interesting。 The genre of the book is sports manga。 The main characters of the book are a boy named Shoyo Hinata。 The setting takes place in a high school gym and another high school。tAfter Hinata and Kageyama have won to Tsukishima and Yamaguchi team， their club adviser Takeda has said that they have a practice game with one of th I read this book with a paper copy。 The reason I chose this book is because since it is about volleyball and I like volleyball， I decided to pick it up since it looks interesting。 The genre of the book is sports manga。 The main characters of the book are a boy named Shoyo Hinata。 The setting takes place in a high school gym and another high school。tAfter Hinata and Kageyama have won to Tsukishima and Yamaguchi team， their club adviser Takeda has said that they have a practice game with one of the top four volleyball teams。 During all their planning and practicing Kageyama had made Hinata nervous for it which made them be in trouble。 When they got to the high school Hinata was so nervous that he had gone to the bathroom multiple times。 When they started the game， it was Hinata's turn to serve but he accidentally hit the ball to the back of Kageyama’s head which didn’t make Kageyama mad。 In the middle of the game， the other team captain came and their coach put him in the game。 Oikawa（the captain of the other team） immediately scored a point making Karasuno shocked。 Eventually Karasuno won， beating Oikawa and his team。 Once they got back to the school they all left home。 The next day， Kageyama was practicing his serves until someone appeared and received the serve making Kageyma surprised。 tThe resolution of the story is when Karasuno were playing against Aoba Johsai High School and Hinata was nervous the entire time but once Kageyama yell that him to focus on the game instead of being scared that he will mess up。 Eventually Hinata focus on the game making Karasuno get more points。 Hinata was also proud of himself since he finally hit the ball which made them get a point。 So Hinata continues getting more and more points。tI would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about sports or like to play volleyball。 This book is suited for anyone。 I think this book is appropriate for middle schoolers。 It depends if you like to read about sports。tI think I did a good job reading this book over the marking period。 I could read more often if I didn’t have so many things to do。 I sometimes don’t update goodread properly since sometimes I’m busy。 To become a better reader I could read more books。 。。。more
