Summary
Friends of the family were forbidden fruit。You didn't get to take a bite， no matter how tempting it might be。And it sure was tempting when they showed up at your doorstep， soaking wet， shaking， begging for your help， your protection， when you suddenly found them hiding out from their problems in your place， in your bed while you attempted to take on their case， figure out how someone who led the quiet kind of life she did ended up on some bad guy's radar， who wanted her badly enough to chase her through the streets， to make her need to uproot her entire life。She was trusting me， depending on me。There were plenty of things to keep my mind occupied。Yet all I could think about was what it might be like to get a taste， a touch， a bite。Maybe if I had been more focused on her case， I would have seen what was coming， could have prevented it before it was too late。。。

I’ve been waiting for the River’s Brothers series since I met them in The Mallick Brothers series！！ Once again， all these series take place in the Navesink Bank world。。。 and I love that world！I also first met Savvy in Sugar’s book （ the Henchmen series！） and I felt a connection with her and her love of animals！This book is about Kingston Rivers and Savea。。。 they have always had a crush on each other but have never acted on it。。。 until now！ I have to say that these two had major sexual chemistry！ I’ve been waiting for the River’s Brothers series since I met them in The Mallick Brothers series！！ Once again， all these series take place in the Navesink Bank world。。。 and I love that world！I also first met Savvy in Sugar’s book （ the Henchmen series！） and I felt a connection with her and her love of animals！This book is about Kingston Rivers and Savea。。。 they have always had a crush on each other but have never acted on it。。。 until now！ I have to say that these two had major sexual chemistry！！ When they finally acted in their attraction; sparks flew！ I devoured the scenes where they got intimate with one another！ My one complaint was that I felt like I wanted more sex between them！😂 I really felt like there wasn’t enough！！！All in all though， I am enjoying this whole world Jessica Gadziela has created in a big way！ I am glad that I have a ton of books to still read as I am not ready to leave Navesink Bank yet！！！ I definitely highly recommend checking any of these series out！ 。。。more

Ahhhhh！！！ I had almost forgotten how excited I was to dig in to the Rivers boys， and man， King was super duper easy to fall for！ He’s not your typical NB underworld， he’s a （newly） legit security guy， and Savvy seems super meek， until she’s not！ Such a saucy personality I loved them， and this book a lot！！Plus， you get a teeny bit of Helen。 ;）

I've been slowly reading my way through Jessica Gadziala's Navesink Bank universe and I'm happy to have finally read the story of one the Rivers Brothers。 Lift You Up is heartwarming with a bit of suspense and action。 Despite his criminal past， Kingston is a good guy。 Very alpha and to the point。 Savea is super sweet and has the hugest heart， her love for animals is legendary。 So when she gets tangled into her boss' problems， Kingston is right there to help her。 Savvy and Kingston are adorable t I've been slowly reading my way through Jessica Gadziala's Navesink Bank universe and I'm happy to have finally read the story of one the Rivers Brothers。 Lift You Up is heartwarming with a bit of suspense and action。 Despite his criminal past， Kingston is a good guy。 Very alpha and to the point。 Savea is super sweet and has the hugest heart， her love for animals is legendary。 So when she gets tangled into her boss' problems， Kingston is right there to help her。 Savvy and Kingston are adorable together and， when they finally decide to act upon their attraction， it is magical。 I can't say the plot is super original （damsel in distress saved by an alpha）， but it's a page-turner and makes for a good read。 。。。more

Good read with humor I did not know what to expect but I am a fan of the author。 I am so glad that I did。 This romantic tale is so down to earth and funny。 Yes， there is a villain and issues， but it’s in balance with the good parts。 Savvy is adorable。 She has been crushing on King for years。 Savvy stumbles into a bad situation with her boss Harry and needs King to protect her。 King does protect her plus so much more juicy stuff。 Read On！

I have waited to see if the Rivers brothers would get their own series。 I am happy to read they are。 I appreciate the author kept this on the lighter side and didn’t try to make this reformed family into the new power brokers in the Navesink community。 Kingston and Savvy provide a sweet escape from reality。
