Julie

Informative and fun with excellent data visualization and graphic design / map integration throughout。

Overall, a visually stunning introduction book to whiskey that: (1) ably makes the complex historical, cultural, and legal aspects of the whiskey world accessible: and (2) provides a practical framework to apply theoretical knowledge。However, it is worth noting that many of the whiskeys in the tasting course are not widely available。 Nevertheless, this remains an excellent reference book。

Jarrod

An excellent way to take a trip around the world and learn about the history and special background information on this storied distilled spirit。

Antigone Walsh

This handsome hard covered book provides an interesting and informative introduction to whiskey。 Filled with photos and colourful graphics, it contains the basics including background, pairing suggestions and recipes。 It flags, however as a tasting course。 Many of the tasting suggestions are obscure and expensive。 A knowledgeable liquor store owner or bartender can provide alternatives。 Otherwise well done。
