This is the summarised version of the Four Agreements。 Still just as important, if I had kids I would get them to read this。

Nothing new here for me - but a good reminder of how to bury the past and embrace the now。

The four agreements is a must-read - for restoring peace and balance in your life and relationships。

A gem。 Such small piece of information has a deep meaning to how we can choose to handle life。 Four chapters that are connected with great power to our decision in everyday actions。 Better said than done a book that can be re-read every now and then。 Great reflection about our own life and habits。

Though a quick read with some generalization that may even cause you to furrow your brow, if you go with it until the end you will come out smiling。 I did anyway。 Putting the agreements in practice, though requiring a lot of reminding, did make my day go by really well yesterday。 I would reread this purely because the message is something I want to carry forward。

Cory Marchildon

Best book I have ever read。 Seriously。

Donna Kettle

Very thought provoking。 This will be a book a read over and over for personal growth。

This book was a slap in the face of common sense, but written so beautifully and easy to read it’s common sense that most people, like myself, need to be reminded of。 It’s definitely a go to book whenever you need to be reminded how to be your true and authentic self。 It’s a must read and also great to have in an audible version as now I can listen to it on my way to work! :)

I didn't mesh well with this book。 I am not sure if it is because the timing wasn't right for me, or what。 I felt like I would get lost in what he was saying, and only understood parts here and there。 I didn't mesh well with this book。 I am not sure if it is because the timing wasn't right for me, or what。 I felt like I would get lost in what he was saying, and only understood parts here and there。 。。。more

This short little book has some good practical insights。 I especially like the idea of watch what you say and try your best in anything you do。 However, some of its philosophy is definitely not Christian。 For example, the author says, "Religion talks about sin and sinners, but let's understand what it really means to sin。 A sin is anything you do which goes against yourself。" (pgs。 18-19) It's a little confusing then when the author says, "Personal importance, or taking things personally, is the This short little book has some good practical insights。 I especially like the idea of watch what you say and try your best in anything you do。 However, some of its philosophy is definitely not Christian。 For example, the author says, "Religion talks about sin and sinners, but let's understand what it really means to sin。 A sin is anything you do which goes against yourself。" (pgs。 18-19) It's a little confusing then when the author says, "Personal importance, or taking things personally, is the maximum expression of selfishness because we make the assumption that everything is about 'me'"。 (pg。 31) So the author thinks it's selfish to make everything about yourself and yet he thinks that a sin is something which goes against yourself。 What about how sin goes against God and others? A little contradictory to my way of thinking。 。。。more

A great synopsis for review of the four agreements。 Perfect to have in the car while waiting a short while。

According to the author, The Four Agreements were created to offer the possibility of ending emotional pain and opening the possibility of enjoying a fuller and more rewarding life。 Although there are some interesting points made, the author presents his thesis in a rather simplistic and Pollyanna manner。 The problem is that these principles cannot be taken at face value but can only be used as general guidelines in our lives。 I believe that there are valid exceptions to each of these four agree According to the author, The Four Agreements were created to offer the possibility of ending emotional pain and opening the possibility of enjoying a fuller and more rewarding life。 Although there are some interesting points made, the author presents his thesis in a rather simplistic and Pollyanna manner。 The problem is that these principles cannot be taken at face value but can only be used as general guidelines in our lives。 I believe that there are valid exceptions to each of these four agreements that several other reviewers have adeptly outlined。 In my view, this is not a book that offers any great insights 。。。more

This handheld book is exceptional。 It serves as an essential reminder to humans that life is far beyond what we consider it, and how to best live it before we die。 Such a beautiful book written in favor of the human condition, and making it easier to experience。

I really liked the points that the book made, but did not enjoy the writing style。 My main take aways from the book would have been the same whether I read the entire book or just the inner cover with the summary of the book。
