Durante la lectura fue fascinante y melancólico ver la vida de una niña de 12 años en medio de una guerra no teniendo solo que lidiar con ser el blanco de asesinos si no también de los cambios entrar en la adolescencia encerrada en un sótano con otra familia sintiéndose sola， aprisionada y extrañando el exterior， el desarrollo es bastante curioso con respecto a los personajes que rodean a Ana y como esto va generando cambios en su pensamiento y comportamiento， con un final bastante triste y real Durante la lectura fue fascinante y melancólico ver la vida de una niña de 12 años en medio de una guerra no teniendo solo que lidiar con ser el blanco de asesinos si no también de los cambios entrar en la adolescencia encerrada en un sótano con otra familia sintiéndose sola， aprisionada y extrañando el exterior， el desarrollo es bastante curioso con respecto a los personajes que rodean a Ana y como esto va generando cambios en su pensamiento y comportamiento， con un final bastante triste y realista es definitivamente un libro que puede transmitir un poco de lo que sufrieron estas persona。 。。。more

When you see a Jew has written a book during the life in the 1940s， you have a certain expectation to read about the Nazis， the treatment of Jews， concentration camps， etc。 While this book does have these things at certain places， it's not the central theme here。 And that's where it's possible the person may lose interest while reading - as some of the reviews do suggest。 I， kind of， realized this after completing about 1/3rd of the book。 But the important thing is， that didn't discourage - in f When you see a Jew has written a book during the life in the 1940s， you have a certain expectation to read about the Nazis， the treatment of Jews， concentration camps， etc。 While this book does have these things at certain places， it's not the central theme here。 And that's where it's possible the person may lose interest while reading - as some of the reviews do suggest。 I， kind of， realized this after completing about 1/3rd of the book。 But the important thing is， that didn't discourage - in fact， encouraged。 The book depicted the circumstances of the Franks going into hiding。 The adjustments/sacrifices made。 The family dynamics。 Anne's sentiments on how others， especially her parents， treated her which may be true for some kids even today。 Her love interest。 All in all， while the book's timeline is during WW2， there is a lot more to it which a reader can appreciate。 I had visited the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam about 13 years ago but wasn't much aware of the story。 This book made me want to visit the house again。 。。。more

No words。 Oh my goodness。 I don't even know where to begin。 This is one of those books where it seems unfair to even have to rate it。 It doesn't even depend on whether you enjoyed it， read it fast， like it or not。 It's just understanding you're literally reading the private journal of a young girl who was living such a terrible thing， in a terrible time of the world。Throughout the whole book， I couldn't stop but think how optimistic Anne was。 How she never lost hope， how resilient she was， and y No words。 Oh my goodness。 I don't even know where to begin。 This is one of those books where it seems unfair to even have to rate it。 It doesn't even depend on whether you enjoyed it， read it fast， like it or not。 It's just understanding you're literally reading the private journal of a young girl who was living such a terrible thing， in a terrible time of the world。Throughout the whole book， I couldn't stop but think how optimistic Anne was。 How she never lost hope， how resilient she was， and yet， how unapologetically in love with life she was。 How she was so proud of her own being。 Her ideals， her likings， her dreams。 It's just so unfair thinking about the horrible time she spent hiding in a cramped annex with hostile people。 The betrayal she experienced， the suffering she was subjected to， and her eventual death。 Focusing on the fact that the only reason she went through this was because she was born a Jew。 Focusing on the fact that Anne’s story was cut short before even she could know who she truly was。Anne was 15。 She was a minor who should have had a lifetime to explore her feelings。 Anne was many things: a writer， a victim of the Holocaust， a teenager， a Jew。 She remains an inspiration to countless people。 And I， personally think， whoever has the courage and shame to talk badly about a book like this， firstly think on how good of a person they are and how insensitive they might forever going to be。 。。。more
