Summary

so i should just not get attached to anyone on this series right? noted

I see the gears turning and the main story developing。 The protagonist is like nothing I have seen before, interested to see what the author does with him。 Will he conform or go even further from the usual。

I'm just letting myself go with the flow for now, enjoying the stupidly funny bits (view spoiler)[-- "Let's murder him with our intellect。" -- (hide spoiler)] and marveling at the thrills and sudden turns and shocking revelations。I forgot that some of the scenes shown here would be more shocking in Japan since it involves civilians having handguns in public, something that is strictly forbidden there and rarely seen。 Maybe that's also why the biggest villain is the Gun Devil。 I'm just letting myself go with the flow for now, enjoying the stupidly funny bits (view spoiler)[-- "Let's murder him with our intellect。" -- (hide spoiler)] and marveling at the thrills and sudden turns and shocking revelations。I forgot that some of the scenes shown here would be more shocking in Japan since it involves civilians having handguns in public, something that is strictly forbidden there and rarely seen。 Maybe that's also why the biggest villain is the Gun Devil。 。。。more

Characters are killed or seemingly killed, new ones are introduced, cliff-hangers are everywhere and I just kind of don't care。 I'm not going to read any more。 Unless the Internet hypes me up when the anime comes out。 It's a shame really, I liked the first volume。 Characters are killed or seemingly killed, new ones are introduced, cliff-hangers are everywhere and I just kind of don't care。 I'm not going to read any more。 Unless the Internet hypes me up when the anime comes out。 It's a shame really, I liked the first volume。 。。。more

*3。5 stars*I’m having loads of fun here, folks。

The Georgia Book Belle

3。5* mildly confusing as past and present actions intermingle and many characters look the same。 However still entertaining!

Excited to see Angel Devil because she's been in a ton of fan art I've seen, especially the stuff that prompted me to read CSM。 Excited to see Angel Devil because she's been in a ton of fan art I've seen, especially the stuff that prompted me to read CSM。 。。。more

This feels like the volume where the story went from insane crazy ultra violent mayhem, to something larger, more serious, and sinister。 There are: (view spoiler)[ main characters who die and don't come back, villains who are serous and up the stakes, a new mystery around boss Makima's devil powers, and the overall worries about the power of the gun devil。 (hide spoiler)] There are supposedly 11 volumes published in Japan, so we are over a third of the way through the story, and I am thoroughly This feels like the volume where the story went from insane crazy ultra violent mayhem, to something larger, more serious, and sinister。 There are: (view spoiler)[ main characters who die and don't come back, villains who are serous and up the stakes, a new mystery around boss Makima's devil powers, and the overall worries about the power of the gun devil。 (hide spoiler)] There are supposedly 11 volumes published in Japan, so we are over a third of the way through the story, and I am thoroughly enjoying the mix of violence, humor, conspiracy, and over the top commentary on human nature。**Thanks to the artist, publisher, and NetGalley for a free copy in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

Things are getting serious。 Clearly, this is a manga in an excellent quality of its own, with a style and sensibility all of its own。 In this volume, we are mostly reeling from the the last volume's terrifying ending。 A lot of trauma, a lot of training。 This ends with them fighting zombies and while I love watching new forms of devils, this book is also mainly just expanding lore。 Makima is clearly evil。 It's not the gut busting terrific action and crazy plot of earlier issues but you gotta do l Things are getting serious。 Clearly, this is a manga in an excellent quality of its own, with a style and sensibility all of its own。 In this volume, we are mostly reeling from the the last volume's terrifying ending。 A lot of trauma, a lot of training。 This ends with them fighting zombies and while I love watching new forms of devils, this book is also mainly just expanding lore。 Makima is clearly evil。 It's not the gut busting terrific action and crazy plot of earlier issues but you gotta do legwork like this。 Moving on。 。。。more

After the end of the last volume, I wasn't sure who would still be around in this volume, and yeah, that hurt, Fugimoto。 That was right in the feels。 Makima brings the quiet creepy scary thing, and wow。 That won't give me nightmares at all。 Denji and Power get a new trainer, and that adds some dark lighthearted fun! This volume was top tier。 I only wished that the training part was longer。 (view spoiler)[Its also really interesting to see that Power and Denji lost their humanity, I wonder how things will escalate/if we will get any character development。 (hide spoiler)] This volume was top tier。 I only wished that the training part was longer。 (view spoiler)[Its also really interesting to see that Power and Denji lost their humanity, I wonder how things will escalate/if we will get any character development。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

To say that Chainsaw Man is without problems would be an outright lie, but it tries its best to deliver some action packed, gory story with some elements of drama and humor。

Head is empty, only Denji and Power wearing glasses。 I never expected I would enjoy this series this 。 much。 The art in these is absolutely mind-blowing, so so beautiful。 Also Angel Demon is finally here 😫

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I'm re-reading this because this will be adapted into an anime soon, and another reason is because this has become a big part of my life when I started reading it September of 2020。 It was one of the best manga I've read, and reading it again is really worth my time。Ah, yes。 This is the part where Makima showed to us a peak of her abilities。 I remember the first time I read it - I was geniunely terrified of her。 And that's why she's one of the best villains in my book。Also, what could Kobeni's c I'm re-reading this because this will be adapted into an anime soon, and another reason is because this has become a big part of my life when I started reading it September of 2020。 It was one of the best manga I've read, and reading it again is really worth my time。Ah, yes。 This is the part where Makima showed to us a peak of her abilities。 I remember the first time I read it - I was geniunely terrified of her。 And that's why she's one of the best villains in my book。Also, what could Kobeni's contracted devil be? We only saw her moving fast, but she really didn't summon anything。 Right until the end of "Season 1", we didn't have an idea about Kobeni's devil。Anyway, the thing I hate about re-reading is not being prepared for a character's death。 Aki's death flag is all raised up, and even though I already know what will happen, it still gives me a heavy feeling in my heart。 。。。more
