Summary

Reeling from her loss, Kacey Dawson is grieving and heartbroken, her addictive demons hauling her back into the alcohol-soaked abyss she worked so hard to crawl out of。 Kacey teeters on the edge of oblivion, and must fight her way through the pain, to build a new life for herself with her music, and somehow fulfill the promise she made to Jonah…one she feels is impossible to keep。

Theo Fletcher has a secret burning in his heart, one that he holds close, while he struggles to keep strong for his family that is falling apart。 His mother’s health is fragile and his father’s disapproval is breaking him down。 Theo is afraid if he follows his heart, he’ll fail, and not just himself, but his brother who believed in him when no one else did。

Drawn together by their pain, Theo and Kacey slowly build a friendship, re-forge old ties, help each other to heal, and give one another the courage to reach for their dreams。 Together, from the depths of grief and guilt, they learn to laugh again, to trust again, and quite possibly find something beautiful and lasting amid the shattered pieces of their broken hearts。

Part II of the two-part Full Tilt duet

I would totally give this 5 stars, but a part of me can’t get over the first book。 Jonah and Kacey’s love story was legendary and it was hard for me to kind of accept this book。 But In the end there wouldn’t have been a better duet than this one。 At first I was kind of suspicious as well because I didn’t know what else you could add to kaceys story。 I thought it was gonna be pretty bland but let me tell you。。。 there were so many twists。 I was mad at every single character at one point and then l I would totally give this 5 stars, but a part of me can’t get over the first book。 Jonah and Kacey’s love story was legendary and it was hard for me to kind of accept this book。 But In the end there wouldn’t have been a better duet than this one。 At first I was kind of suspicious as well because I didn’t know what else you could add to kaceys story。 I thought it was gonna be pretty bland but let me tell you。。。 there were so many twists。 I was mad at every single character at one point and then later I sympathized for all of them。 Anyways that’s enough banter about this book。 To whoever’s reading this review I suggest you read All In if you’ve already read Full Tilt。 I don’t think I could’ve lived a happy life just reading the first book。 。。。more

I feel inlove with THEO! Hmmmm that man was a giver for sure! He loved selflessly。 I was so heartbroken over Kacey’s parents, like who treats their kid like that!! I enjoyed reading the growth in characters between this book and the first。

3。5/5 ★Was the sequel to Full Tilt bad? No, not at all, I finished 40% in one day and 60% the next。 Did it have some of the most annoying tropes in it? i read book one so long ago that this was basically a standalone because all i remember is that it was a death trope。 expected to hate this since she was getting with jonahs brother but i was SHOCKED。 i actually loved this。 i do remember the writing in book one not being amazing but i really liked the flow and writing of this one。 i think their relationship was really well done and i’m glad it was more of a slow burn instead of being rushed into。 🙏🏼🙏🏼

A masterpiece。 This book deals with loss in all of its forms, and the way each character deals with it is both beautiful and heartbroken。

Before I started this book I thought I may not like it as much as book 1 because Jonah was so wonderful, but this one was better and Theo was even more wonderful too! I think he and Kasey were a better match than she and Jonah were。 This was such a great story of love after loss。 Very emotional and yet very positive。 Emma Scott is an amazing author, for sure this duet is a must read!

As soon as I saw there was a sequel to Full Tilt I suspected that it would be a developing romance between Kacey and Theo, Jonah's brother。 Of course, I turned out to be completely right, and I knew from that moment on that I wouldn't like this novel。 This wasn't overtly terrible and thankfully it was quite short - it was also just very slow though, and it didn't help that Kacey and Theo spent half of the novel apart。 Of course it is understandable that the pacing was slow given the circumstance As soon as I saw there was a sequel to Full Tilt I suspected that it would be a developing romance between Kacey and Theo, Jonah's brother。 Of course, I turned out to be completely right, and I knew from that moment on that I wouldn't like this novel。 This wasn't overtly terrible and thankfully it was quite short - it was also just very slow though, and it didn't help that Kacey and Theo spent half of the novel apart。 Of course it is understandable that the pacing was slow given the circumstances of the romance, but considering that I don't fully support a romance between a girl and her dead boyfriend's brother, even if said boyfriend kind of gave his blessing before he died。 In short, this wasn't really for me and it kind of wasn't really necessary given the ending of the previous novel。 That being said, there were sweeter moments and I could appreciate the ending of this one, and the general family-focus of this duology。 。。。more

Yeah I didn’t read Book 1。 I really liked the blurb so I have/must/need to read this book but I just couldn’t read a book with the main character died at the end (Book 1)。 I was also scared if I read Book 1 I will love Jonah so much that I cannot believe in Kacey’s and Teddy’s love。 So, I read the summarize of Book 1 and just read this book。 This book was beautiful, I loved it so much。 Now, I have no regrets because I’ve read this beautiful book。
