همین که توی این جلد دیگه قرار نبود کلاریِ رو مخ و بی‌اعصاب رو به عنوان شخصیت اصلی تحمل کنم خودش جای شکر داره。 در جلد چهارم شخصیت اصلی داستان عوض میشه و اون کسی نیست جز "سایمون" 😂 سایمون بیچاره و خنگ！خب، طبق معمول چونکه این معرفی جلد چهارم از مجموعه‌ی ابزار فانیه خلاصه‌ای نمینویسم که اسپویلی هم نباشه。 بعد از پایان کتاب سوم و فراز و نشیب‌های زیادش، جلد چهارم با یک آرامش نسبی شروع میشه ولی خب دیگه اگر این مجموعه رو خونده باشید باید بدونید پشت هر آرامشی، طوفانی خوابیده‌ است。حجم این جلد نسبت به جلدها همین که توی این جلد دیگه قرار نبود کلاریِ رو مخ و بی‌اعصاب رو به عنوان شخصیت اصلی تحمل کنم خودش جای شکر داره。 در جلد چهارم شخصیت اصلی داستان عوض میشه و اون کسی نیست جز "سایمون" 😂 سایمون بیچاره و خنگ！خب، طبق معمول چونکه این معرفی جلد چهارم از مجموعه‌ی ابزار فانیه خلاصه‌ای نمینویسم که اسپویلی هم نباشه。 بعد از پایان کتاب سوم و فراز و نشیب‌های زیادش، جلد چهارم با یک آرامش نسبی شروع میشه ولی خب دیگه اگر این مجموعه رو خونده باشید باید بدونید پشت هر آرامشی، طوفانی خوابیده‌ است。حجم این جلد نسبت به جلدهای قبلی کمی کمتره و همین باعث شده زیاده گویی نداشته باشه و بیشتر حول محور ماجرای داستان پیش بره。 البته در نیمه‌ی اول کتاب اتفاق خیلی خاصی هم رخ نمیده و بیشتر هیجاناتش مربوط میشه به نیمه‌ی دوم و پایان！。。。 بعلاوه اینجا شاهد ورود چندتا شخصیت جدید هم هستیم که گل سرسبدشون جناب "کایل" هستند 😍 که در کنار الک تبدیل به شخصیت محبوب من در این مجموعه شد。یکی از چیزهایی که همچنان روی مخمه روابط جیس و کلاریه！ اه اه اه。。。 خب یعنی چی یه روز قهرید، یه روز آشتی، یه روز لاو میترکونید و یه روز هم عین برج زهرمار می‌مونید。 مثل انسان‌های خردمند باشید دیگه و تکلیف ما رو هم مشخص کنید。 وات دِ فاز واقعا ؟！😬خیلی‌ها گفتند که بعد از جلد سوم، این مجموعه افت میکنه و به جذابیت‌ کتابهای قبلی نیست。 من تا حدودی هم موافقم و هم مخالف。 موافقم چون واقعا حدود پنجاه درصد از جلد چهارم اتفاق خاصی رخ نداد و از طرفی هم مخالفم چون نویسنده اون حس هیجانی که باید رو در نیمه‌ی دوم کتاب توی وجود مخاطبش میندازه و واقعا از پایانش خوشم اومد。 پایانی کاملا هیجانی برای ادامه دادن مجموعه🤗فکر میکنم هر چیزی که لازم بود برای این جلد گفتم و بهتون بگم اگر جلد سوم رو تمام کردید و میخواید به سراغ جلد چهارم بیایید انتظار بالایی نداشته باشید چون قرار نیست اون هیجان جلد سوم رو اینجا هم تجربه بکنید، در عوضش کتاب چهارم کم حجمه، اضافه گویی نداره، چند شخصیت گوگولی و جذاب اضافه میشن و البته با پایانش آدرنالین خونتون رو بالا میبره。 همین دیگه🌷 。。。more

no sé si pueda ponerle menos de 5 estrellas a un libro de Cassandra Clare🤠pero bueno。 Estoy agotada， plis， plis un respiro para el pobre Jace， seriously， tuvo un pequeño recreo como de 10 minutos y ya lo cagaron de nuevo？ Cassie poor boy， dale un respiro plisy Simon。。。。 toma mi corazón， is yours。

Wow it took me over two weeks to read this？ Weird。 Now， after reading the reviews I was prepared for the worst。 In a way that was true， out of the four books of Shadowhunters I have read so far， this was the worst one。 However that does not mean it was bad。 The book falls short in the places where other books succeed， it lacked surprise， and was very predictable。 As well as this， Clary and Jace’s relationship is getting very repetitive and almost tedious to read。 I seriously could not care less Wow it took me over two weeks to read this？ Weird。 Now， after reading the reviews I was prepared for the worst。 In a way that was true， out of the four books of Shadowhunters I have read so far， this was the worst one。 However that does not mean it was bad。 The book falls short in the places where other books succeed， it lacked surprise， and was very predictable。 As well as this， Clary and Jace’s relationship is getting very repetitive and almost tedious to read。 I seriously could not care less about Jace， I hate that he is constantly battling himself， it just creates boring dialogue for Clary， who could have a very interesting story。 I’m not looking forward to the next book either， as the （SPOILER） ending implied that he was still connected to the demon that is Sebastian/ Jonathan。 I hope that gets out of the way quickly。 It’s clear that this book was a big set up for the next one- City of Lost Souls， which I’m not mad at， it just creates disappointing plot lines。 Some positives about this book is the introduction of new characters， such as Camille and Jordan， who more than certainly do their part of making the story more entertaining。 Again， I feel myself wanting more of Maia’s character， however I feel like we got more Maia than we have。 Something else I loved was how involved Isabelle was， she is usually a cast aside character and is very under appreciated but in this book she really came into the story and with the pairing of Simon also becoming a main character， became a solid reason I enjoyed this book。 Now， something that I both loved and hated about this book was the treatment of Magnus and Alec， yes， I love them as a couple however， Alec’s character has vastly changed。 I understand that it was due to him becoming himself infront of Magnus， however， City of Ashes/City of Glass would never kiss Magnus infront of his parents， especially after the most important mission he has ever been on。 I just feel like the classic character that Alec was has been lost， and like Jace has become almost a flat line。 I still massively prefer Alec to Jace， and Alec did pick up towards the end。 I’m just worried that he could drop off for me again。3。4/5 。。。more

The plot of this book wasn’t terrible， but all of the teenage drama was a bit much for me。 Also， the narrators were HORRIBLE。 I completely regret trying to finish this series。 It should have ended with the City of Glass。

این جلد هیجان خیلی بیشتر از بقیه جلداش بود خودم بعضی از جاهاش واقعا تو شوک فرو میرفتممخصوصا کارای شخصیت جدید داستان و چقدر از این جاناتان بدم میاد😐🤦🏻‍♀️خیلی تو موخه همیشه شخصیت اینجوری سگ جونن（این همه میدونن همهه）منتظر جلد بعدی میمونم:）حتما این مجموعه بخونید

3。5 starsto be completely honest， this book was kind of a let down。 the first three novels of the mortal instruments were exciting—action and romance and development and conflict at every turn。 then there was the infernal devices （i’m reading the books in the order suggested on cassandra clare’s website）， which were arguably even better than the mortal instruments。 and then i came to this book， and it felt like all the characters were thrown into a stupor。 of course， she had finished the origina 3。5 starsto be completely honest， this book was kind of a let down。 the first three novels of the mortal instruments were exciting—action and romance and development and conflict at every turn。 then there was the infernal devices （i’m reading the books in the order suggested on cassandra clare’s website）， which were arguably even better than the mortal instruments。 and then i came to this book， and it felt like all the characters were thrown into a stupor。 of course， she had finished the original trilogy and the main conflict and insane plot twist had already been done， so it is understandable that it would take time to develop more conflict。 however， it just felt uneventful。 there was never a point while reading this where i was on the edge of my seat。 in the end i mostly just felt frustrated with the characters and the lack of development。 Clare already told the story of jace moping around thinking something was wrong with him， but that was exactly what the entirety of this novel was about， other than Simon’s story line。 also， what’s with all these girls and their quick forgiving of toxic men？ the only relationship worthwhile in its portrayal in this addition to the series is alex and magnus。 now， while that was a very harsh review， i did still enjoy the end of the book。 it was a bit predictable， but at least it was intriguing。 i’m holding out hope that the writing rest of the series will return to the same former glory of the first three books and i’m going to keep up with the story。 i’ve invested too much in this series to not do so。 。。。more

This was the beginning of my mixed feelings about Sebastian/Jonathon and I’m still not sure where I land。 Similar to City of Bones， this is a set up for the next segment of this series so more plot thick books are to come。My Top Quote: “‘Set me as a seal upon thine heart， as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death。’ ‘Ours is stronger than that。’”

«L’amor che move il sole e l’altre stelle。»«È latino？»«Italiano。 Un passo di Dante。 Significa che l’amore è la forza più potente al mondo， capace di fare qualsiasi cosa。»Uno dei versi che più amo。La frase delle frasi che quando la leggo ormai la associo proprio a Jace e Clary perché é proprio la loro。E mi emoziono， ogni volta。Ma quanto sono pazzesche queste copertine？Penso che queste nuove edizioni che hanno fatto uscire qui in Italia sono meravigliose， infatti non ho proprio potuto fare a meno «L’amor che move il sole e l’altre stelle。»«È latino？»«Italiano。 Un passo di Dante。 Significa che l’amore è la forza più potente al mondo， capace di fare qualsiasi cosa。»Uno dei versi che più amo。La frase delle frasi che quando la leggo ormai la associo proprio a Jace e Clary perché é proprio la loro。E mi emoziono， ogni volta。Ma quanto sono pazzesche queste copertine？Penso che queste nuove edizioni che hanno fatto uscire qui in Italia sono meravigliose， infatti non ho proprio potuto fare a meno di acquistarle nonostante i libri li avessi già tutti。Ma ovviamente sono fissata， quindi lo sto facendo anche con le altre trilogie， di cui ho già i libri ma piano piano sto prendendo anche i cofanetti con le copertine originali di cui sono proprio innamorata。Ma tornando a noi， secondo me Città degli Angeli Caduti è uno dei libri che che proprio come il secondo volume è diciamo di passaggio。È un libro che getta le basi di quella che sarà la storia del quinto libro dove accadranno moltissime cose。Clary e Jace finalmente possono stare insieme， possono essere felici anche se i problemi sono proprio dietro l’angolo。Ebbene si， questi due benedetti ragazzi non hanno un momento di pace。Clary nel frattempo si sta allenando， per diventare una vera Shadowhunter e Jace per il momento è il suo istruttore。Tutto cambia quando Jace inizia ad avere degli incubi， ma non incubi normali， proprio per niente， sognerà ogni singola notte di ferire/uccidere Clary。E dietro tutto questo c’è lei， Lilith， la madre di tutti i demoni。Voi vi starete， giustamente， chiedendo， ma tutto a loro capita？Ebbene sì， però posso dirvi che c’è una ragione per tutto questo。E la ragione in questo caso ha un nome: Jonathan Morgenstern。Io amo questo personaggio， già lo avevo accennato nello scorso post; Jonathan， anzi， Sebastian come ormai si fa chiamare è il vero fratello di Clary。Non vi dico nemmeno che è il cattivo per eccellenza proprio。 Nato con il sangue di demone， Jonathan non prova vere emozioni umane， purtroppo l’influenza che suo padre， Valentine， ha avuto su di lui， ha inciso moltissimo nella sua vita。Avevamo lasciato Jonathan nel terzo libro mentre combatteva con Jace e veniva praticamente ucciso。Lilith però， vuole riportarlo in vita e per questo le servirà Jace。E non vi dico altro 🙈Però posso dirvi ancora che in questo libro abbiamo un po’ più di scene Malec， ovvero la meravigliosa coppia formata da Alec e Magnus， insieme sono meravigliosi。La loro storia si sta facendo sempre più seria， ed Alec però inizia ad avere paura perché lui alla fine è soltanto umano mentre Magnus è immortale e questo creerà diverse liti tra i due。Simon， il migliore amico， vampiro ormai， di Clary in questo libro inizia sempre a piacermi di più。Non che non mi piaccia nei precedenti libri ma quando arrivo a questo è sempre così， mi piace di più。Sarà perché tira fuori un po’ di più il carattere nonostante la situazione che crea con Maia e Isabelle。A proposito di Isabelle invece， ecco nei precedenti libri non se ne parla tantissimo alla fine， la conosciamo come una ragazza davvero bella， sulle sue， super cazzuta。Qui abbiamo modo di vedere un altro suo lato del carattere， ed è quello sensibile， quello che ci farà vedere che tiene davvero alle persone intorno a lei， che ama。E poi， inizieremo a vedere la crescita della sua amicizia con Clary e secondo me è davvero meravigliosa。Mi piace davvero da morire la loro amicizia。E basta， come al solito mi dilungo sempre troppo， ma come si fa？Non riesco mai mai mai a smettere di scrivere a volte。Quando inizio la recensione mi dico sempre ‘e adesso cosa scrivo？’ e poi eccoci qui che appena inizio a scrivere due righe non me ne accorgo nemmeno di aver scritto troppo proprio。 。。。more

This book was good。 Not my favorite but I still enjoyed it。 It was a little confusing but unexpected and exciting。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 “But I watch my brothers give their hearts away and I think， Don’t you know better？ Hearts are breakable。 And I think even when you heal， you’re never what you were before。”I feel like I enjoyed this book more than the previous two。 The stakes are higher， the mystery was interesting。 Plus not only did we get more Magnus and Alec， but we got Simon’s POV and more Isabelle！ I grew to like Izzy so much more in this book because of it。 Also “Who is Will Herondale？”。 Corssovers bring me joy and so do “But I watch my brothers give their hearts away and I think， Don’t you know better？ Hearts are breakable。 And I think even when you heal， you’re never what you were before。”I feel like I enjoyed this book more than the previous two。 The stakes are higher， the mystery was interesting。 Plus not only did we get more Magnus and Alec， but we got Simon’s POV and more Isabelle！ I grew to like Izzy so much more in this book because of it。 Also “Who is Will Herondale？”。 Corssovers bring me joy and so do the little Easter eggs Cassandra Clare drops in her books。 So entertaining and I’m hyped to reread the next two。4。5/5⭐️ 。。。more
