I read this version of twilight， and also did individual reviews。As you can see from those individual reviews， I don't have much to say about this saga。 It's silly and unintentionally hilarious。 I read a lot of YA fantasy， and even dabbled in romance here and there， and this is easily in the top 5 worst stories I've read。 Yeah， that's right， I enjoyed The Selection a lot more than this。 All those weird reformation-era-fairy-tale Christian romances at least taught me some history。 Twilight doesn' I read this version of twilight， and also did individual reviews。As you can see from those individual reviews， I don't have much to say about this saga。 It's silly and unintentionally hilarious。 I read a lot of YA fantasy， and even dabbled in romance here and there， and this is easily in the top 5 worst stories I've read。 Yeah， that's right， I enjoyed The Selection a lot more than this。 All those weird reformation-era-fairy-tale Christian romances at least taught me some history。 Twilight doesn't make sense half the time， and reads almost entirely like Mary Sue fantasy。What Stephanie Meyer has done well: capturing how insane boy-crazy teenage girls are， really getting into a toxic and codependent relationship， making vampires and werewolves almost cool again。 I think it's great that so many people like reading this series and maybe some of those people went on to keep reading better literature。。。 But I don't think I'll ever understand anyone over the age of 15 thinking this is a good one （for any reason other than nostalgia）。 。。。more

That the entirety of The Twilight Saga was excruciating to read is of little consequence， as any story that romanticizes pedophilia is easily deserving of a one-star review。

I read this collection after already seeing the movies and I have to say I really liked the collection of books。I think she does an excellent job developing the characters and specifically the fascination between Bella and Edward Cullen。I can't really tell you the exact nature of what draws me to her books and her writing for that matter but I can tell you that it's very enjoyable for me。 I am very immersed when I read these books。 In fact there are two of them that I would read several times ov I read this collection after already seeing the movies and I have to say I really liked the collection of books。I think she does an excellent job developing the characters and specifically the fascination between Bella and Edward Cullen。I can't really tell you the exact nature of what draws me to her books and her writing for that matter but I can tell you that it's very enjoyable for me。 I am very immersed when I read these books。 In fact there are two of them that I would read several times over。 。。。more
