Exceptional book。 It entertains， it educates， it gives food for thought。 First thing to note about how good is given psychologist is if everybody likes him; and I guess Robert Greene is quite successful at that， making his reader believe he might become a strategist as great as the greatest of all time。I definitely recommend this book， but neither expect nor aim to finish it fast。

A true piece of mastery。 Robert Greene goes deep in analyzing and deciphering how Great Generals and Leaders used to plan， explaining in detail （and with examples from history with an interpretation for each） each strategy with its benefits and costs。However， half way through， I lost attentiveness since I currently can not see a situation in which I am in "War" where these strategies will help me。Afterall I think there may come a time where we may need them and this book helps you enormously in A true piece of mastery。 Robert Greene goes deep in analyzing and deciphering how Great Generals and Leaders used to plan， explaining in detail （and with examples from history with an interpretation for each） each strategy with its benefits and costs。However， half way through， I lost attentiveness since I currently can not see a situation in which I am in "War" where these strategies will help me。Afterall I think there may come a time where we may need them and this book helps you enormously in dealing with those type of situations。 。。。more

As a young boy， I have had so many fantasies of war and fighting。 The good versus the bad。 I still remember drawing a soldier with Popeye’s biceps when we were asked who we wanted to be when we grew up。 I wanted to be a soldier。 This books conceptualises who to manurer and think like a general in business and in life。 With reference from The Art of War by Sun Tzu and The Prince by Machiavelli Robert breaks down tried and tested ancient war tactics to modern day life。

I have two words to describe this book: terrifyingly irresistible。 I was thoroughly engrossed。 Not only does it offer you a good glimpse of the human psyche as well as the monstrous evil that is out there but also insights on how you can prevent yourself from falling prey to it。 This is truly a book on the social game of everyday life。 Be it in the area of politics， business， or whatsoever。 Use it as a tool to protect yourself。
