I keep thinking I love YA witchy books but I’m starting to think they’re not for me。 Not the book’s fault I just didn’t like most of the characters。 I did however very much appreciate the queer rep in here。 And the plot was Ok too。

Leí este libro porque me lo prestó un amigo （Gracias Luca） y dije。。。 No voy a decir que no 😊 no es un libro que hubiera elegido por mi propia cuenta y fue exactamente lo que esperé de él。El libro nos presenta a Hannah， una bruja elemental。 Ella aún está en el colegio y por supuesto el libro tiene toooodas esas situaciones de colegio de libro juvenil y a la vez debe ocultarles a todos que es una bruja puesto que se mantienen en secreto。 Su familia es parte del Clan y siempre le enseñaron a oculta Leí este libro porque me lo prestó un amigo （Gracias Luca） y dije。。。 No voy a decir que no 😊 no es un libro que hubiera elegido por mi propia cuenta y fue exactamente lo que esperé de él。El libro nos presenta a Hannah， una bruja elemental。 Ella aún está en el colegio y por supuesto el libro tiene toooodas esas situaciones de colegio de libro juvenil y a la vez debe ocultarles a todos que es una bruja puesto que se mantienen en secreto。 Su familia es parte del Clan y siempre le enseñaron a ocultar su magia y manejar sus poderes。El libro comienza cuándo Hannah se reencuentra con su ex Verónica， con quién terminó peleada después de que ella no la ayudara en una situación de peligro。 Y justamente el día en el que se la encuentra ocurre un suceso extrano en el que ambas de verán involucradas。El libro la verdad es que no me encantó， tampoco me disgustó。 La historia es simple y juvenil。 Bien juvenil。 Sentí que la parte de las brujas se podría haber desarrollado muchísimo más， contaron poco sobre ellas y sobre los distintos clanes。Y a la vez la parte de romance estuvo linda pero tampoco me súper interesó。 Mientras Hannah intenta superar a Verónica conoce a una nueva chica de la que se va enamorando poco a poco。Si destaco la cantidad de diversidad y personajes LGBT+ aunque hubieron otros libros de Fantasía LBGT+ que me gustaron mucho más。 Supongo que es porque yo quiero el pack completo， quiero buenos personajes， mucha diversidad y también mucha trama y un nivel de fantasía más elaborado。De todas formas es un libro ideal para quienes comienzan a leer literatura juvenil。 Es atrapante， hay mucha acción y un par de plot Twist copados al final 🥰😊Tiene segunda parte， me hubiera gustado que sea uno solo porque tenía potencial para hacerlo。 El final no es súper abierto pero si sentí que al libro me faltó más。Yo leyendo estás brujas no arden: 😌🤔😳🤭☺️ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Oh my God！！ This was super fun to read！ I kept making up theories and kept getting everything wrong but God it was super engaging！I'd say this has been a pretty chill， feel-good read for me。 Except the part where the father dies and the protagonist and her ex almost get BURNED TO DEATH？？ I think that there was an increase in the violence shown throughout the book， and that's what made those two scenes come to be without overall changing the tone of the book itself， but they still pretty much cau Oh my God！！ This was super fun to read！ I kept making up theories and kept getting everything wrong but God it was super engaging！I'd say this has been a pretty chill， feel-good read for me。 Except the part where the father dies and the protagonist and her ex almost get BURNED TO DEATH？？ I think that there was an increase in the violence shown throughout the book， and that's what made those two scenes come to be without overall changing the tone of the book itself， but they still pretty much caught me off-guard with how like， safe and friendly and lovely things were going。 The depiction of grief was pretty damn accurate as well， and the talks about their relationship between Veronica and Hannah genuinely felt real and heartfelt。 This was super good。 4。5/5 definitely。 Already waiting to get the second part！ Although it will probably still be a few months ;-; 。。。more

Completely and utterly boring。 I was excited to read this book but honestly， it’s the first book I have skim read probably 70% of it。 Took me forever to finish as nothing gripped me at all。 The magic wasn’t even that captivating ， the characters boring， their conversations not even interesting。 So yeah， did not enjoy！
