I'm officially hooked。 Brooding seme sorcerer， smooth and slender uke with a lithe elfin body but possessed by a demon’s sting， and， finally， a toungue-in-cheek fantasy world that still somehow hits the dramatic tension button with creepy， evil villains。But most of all it's the art。 Yamane uses formula graphic tropes for days， but， damn！ She USES them。 I think I've fallen in love with her updated Old School Anime look - faces and bods straight out of 80’s manga but updated with today's sensi I'm officially hooked。 Brooding seme sorcerer， smooth and slender uke with a lithe elfin body but possessed by a demon’s sting， and， finally， a toungue-in-cheek fantasy world that still somehow hits the dramatic tension button with creepy， evil villains。But most of all it's the art。 Yamane uses formula graphic tropes for days， but， damn！ She USES them。 I think I've fallen in love with her updated Old School Anime look - faces and bods straight out of 80’s manga but updated with today's sensibility。 As a result， Val is 100% swoon worthy。 Don't look at his eyes too long， folks， you'll be a goner。 Yamane is a master at subtle screen tone effects to convey light and form， but is in the eyes where she really draws you in。 Although in black， white and gray， some close ups of the eyes have a startling 3D effect that most artist can only get using color。 I'm totally sold on this series， and the next three volumes are on the way。 Thank heavens I didn't discover this when it first came out。 I couldn't bear to wait a year for the next book。 。。。more

Vald & Halvi have flee from Celeasdeile。 They meet Mars， a wandering swordsman who end up stealing their belonging。 Tracking him down， they come to a town under attack by wild monsters， who turn out to be demons。 Vald loose control of the beast inside of himself but is calmed down by a kiss from the sorcerer。 This is the first time this happen when the prince is aware so there is a funny scene where he acts all confuse to his body reactions to Halvi while trying to decide if he should let Mars o Vald & Halvi have flee from Celeasdeile。 They meet Mars， a wandering swordsman who end up stealing their belonging。 Tracking him down， they come to a town under attack by wild monsters， who turn out to be demons。 Vald loose control of the beast inside of himself but is calmed down by a kiss from the sorcerer。 This is the first time this happen when the prince is aware so there is a funny scene where he acts all confuse to his body reactions to Halvi while trying to decide if he should let Mars out of jail。 Imagine if he knew all the naughty things the sorcerer does to him pretty much every night。 During this time， Halvir get attack by a power demon Lord and is capture。 It up to Vald， Mrs & Halrein to rescue him。Volume 2 have a lot of action & magic。 There are still some hot moments between Vald & Halvi but this is not the main focus here。 We get a little bit of information about the Crimson Spell curse， but still have no clue how to end it。 Rulca “aka the peeping tom” is still here as a comic relief and doesn’t do much， but I absolutely adore all the bickering between him & the sorcerer。 。。。more
