Not simple but fun for enthusiastic young bakers。 It’s complicated but it wouldn’t be original if it wasn’t。 The recipes are ingredient/equipment-intense and time consuming but not impossible， fun to do together and the end result is very tasty。 To be very clear， this is more like a decorating guide versus a cook book。

We have made a handful of recipes from this book。 They are fun but most are not for beginners or for those with little patience。 Some recipes were complete fails but still fun to try。 The attempts also may have looked nothing like the photos but they were all still pretty delicious。

OK， I admit I did not read every word of every recipe， but I certainly had fun perusing this cookbook， reading the overview of each recipe， and looking more closely at the directions for many。 I'm not sure how many of these creative recipes my family and I might try， but it's sure fun to flip through and imagine making them。 I like the way it's organized with an overview at the front， some basic recipes next， then chapters for different types of nerdiness。 My daughter and I are currently in the OK， I admit I did not read every word of every recipe， but I certainly had fun perusing this cookbook， reading the overview of each recipe， and looking more closely at the directions for many。 I'm not sure how many of these creative recipes my family and I might try， but it's sure fun to flip through and imagine making them。 I like the way it's organized with an overview at the front， some basic recipes next， then chapters for different types of nerdiness。 My daughter and I are currently in the middle of baking moon phase macarons and I'm certain I want to try the apple pi pie and smart cookies as well。 Definitely will have to investigate the accompanying YouTube channel。 :） 。。。more

A fun cookbook to look at and it also has lots of color pictures of the finished product and how-to steps， as well as clear instructions。 I'm not sure how many I personally would actually cook， but if I had a theme that I wanted to make some treats for， this would be an excellent sourcebook！ （OK， the cupcake owls may make an appearance in my life at some point！） This book has fun desserts using the themes of math， science， sci-fi， fantasy， tech， and academic nerdiness。 My personal favorites incl A fun cookbook to look at and it also has lots of color pictures of the finished product and how-to steps， as well as clear instructions。 I'm not sure how many I personally would actually cook， but if I had a theme that I wanted to make some treats for， this would be an excellent sourcebook！ （OK， the cupcake owls may make an appearance in my life at some point！） This book has fun desserts using the themes of math， science， sci-fi， fantasy， tech， and academic nerdiness。 My personal favorites include the petri dish jello with gummy critters， geode cupcakes， emoticon cookies， unicorn poop cookies， and the graham cracker and marshmallow "textbooks"。 So clever！ I think I need to find her cooking show on the internet！ 。。。more

This book has very cute and cool recipes， but a lot of them are too complicated。 There are some materials that are hard to find， but overall， it is a pretty cool cookbook。

I think that Rosanna’s recipes are very fun and creative。 Her treats and desserts have different themes like maths， science， astronomy， unicorn， games， technology and nerdy nummies。 Her recipes are also very detailed with tips that are very useful。 In addition， she mentioned some basics of baking like how to use a piping bag， make your own royal icing and fondant。 It is very useful for me as I don’t really like the flavour of the fondant bought in supermarkets。

I was not already familiar with the Nerdy Nummies YouTube series when I was gifted this book by a good friend who knew I was trying to get into baking。 To echo other reviewers， I love the ideas within but have rarely found myself with the opportunity or enough time and patience to tackle them！ The basic recipes are great and give you a lot to build off of。 But in general I feel like this book will only come off the shelf for themed parties。
