Oh my goodness this series was amazing and the way it ended was honestly perfect I can’t believe it’s over it’s been a wild ride and I can say this will be one that stays with me 💕

Unfortunately, I think she's jumped the shark with this book。 SUCH a great series! But you can't keep ramping up the stakes and the suspense without things eventually becoming ridiculously outlandish, and for me - that was this book。 Bummer。 Unfortunately, I think she's jumped the shark with this book。 SUCH a great series! Okay I can’t give half stars but I’d rate this 3。5It was a slow start but overall ended up being a good ending to such a good series。 Tbh I was expecting it to get steamy like the others and it didn’t so that was a bit disappointing 😂

I love this series overall。 This book wasn’t very exciting and didn’t have much action but I enjoyed it anyway。 It’s wonderful that KMM was even able to write it at all。 So while it wasn’t a banging conclusion, I still enjoyed being in this world and saying goodbye to some of my favorite characters。 I hope KMM keeps writing and if she does, I very much look forward to reading more of her books!

Absolute perfection! Unexpected twists and the fruition of the long ago promise of Mackayla's story not being a story of darkness and that one day she would hold as much joy as grief had carved her。 Thank you, Ms。 Moning for this epic ride! This will forever be my favorite book series。

My least favorite of all the books。 Everything just got wrapped up too nice and tidy。 And they all lived happily ever after。。。。

Oh KMM, thank you for creating the Fever world。 I've been a reader of KMM since her Highlander days and I remember when she created this series, something pretty different from her typical romance。 In fact, this was my introduction to the Urban Fantasy genre。 A real shame too, since it spoiled me to the rest of Urban Fantasy lol。 Oh well, it was worth it。 The Fever series is pure escapism at it's finest。 And overall I think this was a good ending to such a fun series。 The first 3/4 was admittedl Oh KMM, thank you for creating the Fever world。 I've been a reader of KMM since her Highlander days and I remember when she created this series, something pretty different from her typical romance。 In fact, this was my introduction to the Urban Fantasy genre。 A real shame too, since it spoiled me to the rest of Urban Fantasy lol。 Oh well, it was worth it。 The Fever series is pure escapism at it's finest。 And overall I think this was a good ending to such a fun series。 The first 3/4 was admittedly kind of slow and a bit disjointed, but I just adored the ending。 Christian was my favorite pov in this one, but he has always been one of my favorites :D。 Well, there was ONE aspect of the ending that I did not like, but that's because I never much cared for that particular character。 (view spoiler)[It's Ryodan。 I just can't with him。 Never liked him。 (hide spoiler)] But it's whatever。 Thank you KMM。 It was a fun ride。 。。。more

A great ending to the fever series。 All the main character's stories were wrapped up nicely。 I especially enjoyed learning more about Dani's early years。 I would like to see a novella about Lor and another about the hunters。I had to reread (relisten) to it to make sense of all the "dream" segments。 How I understand it is that these things really happened and Barons rerolled time to try again until Mac got it right。 Is this correct? Interesting。I liked the changing POV's。 I needed both Mac and Da A great ending to the fever series。 All the main character's stories were wrapped up nicely。 I especially enjoyed learning more about Dani's early years。 I would like to see a novella about Lor and another about the hunters。I had to reread (relisten) to it to make sense of all the "dream" segments。 How I understand it is that these things really happened and Barons rerolled time to try again until Mac got it right。 Is this correct? Interesting。I liked the changing POV's。 I needed both Mac and Dani in this book。 I have the audiobook。 We really need Phil Gigante back。 I would re-buy the last few books if they would redo them with him。 I loved Natalie Ross, but Amanda Leigh Cobb did a good job。 What I cannot live with however is Amanda and Aiden deciding to change the pronunciation of the Sinsar Dubh。 COME ON! This is the eleventh book in the series。 Even if Aiden didn't bother to read the previous books (which is unacceptable), the is Amanda's THIRD book。 It took me out of the story each time because I yelled, “SHE-SUH-DOO, NOT SHE-NUH-DOO!!!!” And why didn't an editor, producer or KMM catch and correct this? Unacceptable。 。。。more

« Between the difficult past and the uncertain future resides the only moment we have any power over : now。 »Loved, loved, loved this last book in one of my favorite series。 Wolfed it down in two nights。 It was chaotic good !« Fire to his ice。 Ice to my fever。 »

Marge

I have been so invested in these characters & this series。 I loved the strong women who all showed growth and the hot, sexy dudes they loved and fought with along the way。 Knowing this was the last one I expected everyone’s stories to get wrapped up and they did。 I really would have appreciated much more Dani (Dani and Ryodan, Dani and Mac) and Ryodan was almost nonexistent。 But I did enjoy seeing Christian get a love interest。 I will miss all of them。

Breathtaking As always this series is enthralling。 You never know which direction the next page will take you in。 Couldn’t put it down and stayed up way too late。

Anna (Bobs Her Hair)

3Everything is resolved in this series。 Mac features the most with Christian following a close second。 I felt shallowly submersed in this series finale; mostly, due to the multiple perspectives, the endings were too pat for me。 I wonder how the Fever series could have ended differently had the author not been driven off course by reaction to the Dani/Ryodan pairing。 Guess I’ll never know。Library eloan

Let down。I didn't enjoy this book as much as all the others。 It was confusing bouncing around to all the different people。 I think the third epilogue was the best。 As much time that was spent on the Winter, Autumn, Summer royalty, the epilog was disappointing。 A let down。 Let down。I didn't enjoy this book as much as all the others。 It was confusing bouncing around to all the different people。 I think the third epilogue was the best。 As much time that was spent on the Winter, Autumn, Summer royalty, the epilog was disappointing。 A let down。 。。。more

i didn’t cry reading the book itself but i did cry my effing eyes out reading her acknowledgments。。。。。。 oh my god i had NO idea she was going through all of that。 what the actual hell。as far as the book goes, if was so good。 you could tell she was at a crossroads - write 5 more books or tie everything up here。 there was SOOOOO much more she could have delved into。 but she chose to stop it here, tie up those last few open ends, sending the characters into new adventures。i’ll miss them so much。 i’ i didn’t cry reading the book itself but i did cry my effing eyes out reading her acknowledgments。。。。。。 oh my god i had NO idea she was going through all of that。 what the actual hell。as far as the book goes, if was so good。 you could tell she was at a crossroads - write 5 more books or tie everything up here。 there was SOOOOO much more she could have delved into。 but she chose to stop it here, tie up those last few open ends, sending the characters into new adventures。i’ll miss them so much。 i’ll be rereading these at least every 5 years, maybe every 2-3 years。 i’m so proud of mac and the warrior she’s become。 i’m so proud of barrons for allowing himself to be vulnerable。 of ryo and dani for overcoming so much。 of christian for fully embracing himself。god, that was such a ride。 such a treat。 such a privilege to be given a peek into karen’s gigantic brain。 very few stories mean as much to me as these do。 my heart belongs to them, 1000%。 。。。more

OMG an ending of a decade of FeverKaren Marie Moning is a brilliant world builder and this book was no exception。 My only complaint is that there is no more fever。 But oh my this book was soooo good。 Loved everything。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 ::SPOILERS::Well。。。。。 I didn’t love it, nor did I hate it。 It seemed very clinical like the heart has left the series & this was tying up loose ends。 I love the Fever series, so this rating is probably too high for the content, but despite the decline in the series, it’s just one of those I will continue to read despite it missing that something special the other books had。 I also didn’t understand why she brought in so many new characters for a series that’s ending? Plus, while she did tie up various loose ends there are plenty still dangling - so was that the end or no? Also, I didn’t dig the dream/premonitions primarily cuz I had no idea that’s what they were & stayed confused half the book。 I just don’t feel like a whole lot actually happened, I felt no tension。 There was no nail biting or sitting on the edge of my seat- very empty。 Then the stuff that did happen was a let down- like with Cruz & Ryodan。 Not to mention she skimped on her promises- I was really looking forward to learning more about the nine, but aside from a brief appearance by Lor they weren’t present。 And Ryoden。。。。。like really? It was so anti-climatic & boring。 At least had Barron’s gotten it, it would have made sense & fulfilled the mural。 So slightly disappointed。 。。。more

A great conclusion to an amazing seriesI’ve been reading these books since they first came out years ago, and I rarely read a series where I enjoyed the ending as much as this one。 Karen Marie Moning is a master story teller who always sweeps me up into her stories, and whom I have a hard time putting down。 To know that she finished this exquisite tale while recovering from carbon monoxide poisoning is shocking。 Sick or otherwise, Moning continues to be an expert in her field。 Thank you for the A great conclusion to an amazing seriesI’ve been reading these books since they first came out years ago, and I rarely read a series where I enjoyed the ending as much as this one。 Karen Marie Moning is a master story teller who always sweeps me up into her stories, and whom I have a hard time putting down。 To know that she finished this exquisite tale while recovering from carbon monoxide poisoning is shocking。 Sick or otherwise, Moning continues to be an expert in her field。 Thank you for the years of entertainment。 。。。more

My least favorite KMM book so far。 Such a long story for so little to have happened。 Would have been better as a short story or something。

From what I understand this will be the final Fever novel so reading this was bittersweet。 However, it is everything I was hoping it would be and more。 Thank you Karen Moning for bringing us the Fever world and telling the stories of Mac, Barrons, Christian, Dani, the Mackeltar, Ryodan, Shazam and all of the others in such vibrant colors。 This is a series that will be read over and over in my house。 P。S。 If Karen decides to add to this library, I'm there for it。 From what I understand this will be the final Fever novel so reading this was bittersweet。 However, it is everything I was hoping it would be and more。 Thank you Karen Moning for bringing us the Fever world and telling the stories of Mac, Barrons, Christian, Dani, the Mackeltar, Ryodan, Shazam and all of the others in such vibrant colors。 This is a series that will be read over and over in my house。 P。S。 If Karen decides to add to this library, I'm there for it。 。。。more

Authors are people, so there's all kinds of reasons it can take a while to finish a book。 After reading the Acknowledgements, I'm impressed Moning managed it at all。This is a solid end to the series, wrapping up the various characters' plot lines nicely。 A little anticlimactic in places, but mostly an engaging read。 Authors are people, so there's all kinds of reasons it can take a while to finish a book。 After reading the Acknowledgements, I'm impressed Moning managed it at all。This is a solid end to the series, wrapping up the various characters' plot lines nicely。 A little anticlimactic in places, but mostly an engaging read。 。。。more

The ending of Fever booksI enjoyed this book very much。 I felt it was written in a way that allowed the reader to fantasize and go beyond the storyline。 When it ended I didn't feel Disappointed。 The ending of Fever booksI enjoyed this book very much。 I felt it was written in a way that allowed the reader to fantasize and go beyond the storyline。 When it ended I didn't feel Disappointed。 。。。more
