I wasn't a fan of this one。 The writing itself wasn't bad， but I wasn't a fan of either main character。 While I suspend belief pretty much every time I read a romance novel， this one was just way too far out there。 Taryn left Jace， she comes walking back into his life with MAJOR drama coming with her， and everything is forgiven with pretty much one conversation。 Uh， no thank you。 Jace is willing to put his life on the line （and the lives of his friends） after that to save Taryn's sister who basi I wasn't a fan of this one。 The writing itself wasn't bad， but I wasn't a fan of either main character。 While I suspend belief pretty much every time I read a romance novel， this one was just way too far out there。 Taryn left Jace， she comes walking back into his life with MAJOR drama coming with her， and everything is forgiven with pretty much one conversation。 Uh， no thank you。 Jace is willing to put his life on the line （and the lives of his friends） after that to save Taryn's sister who basically doesn't want to be saved。 While I didn't enjoy this one， I would be willing to read this author again。I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book。 。。。more

I do like my cowboy romances， and I do like Donna Grant's romantic suspense ones。 The last one was intense and brutal， this one was pretty brutal too， but luckily that was most in the past。Jace is on the road on becoming an alcoholic。 He drinks too much， he misses the girlfriend who suddenly disappeared years ago， and his past in the military is always there to haunt him。 What I loved about him is that the minute she does show up he is not bitter and argues for days。 He just wants her back again I do like my cowboy romances， and I do like Donna Grant's romantic suspense ones。 The last one was intense and brutal， this one was pretty brutal too， but luckily that was most in the past。Jace is on the road on becoming an alcoholic。 He drinks too much， he misses the girlfriend who suddenly disappeared years ago， and his past in the military is always there to haunt him。 What I loved about him is that the minute she does show up he is not bitter and argues for days。 He just wants her back again。Taryn has been gone for years， the reason why is dark。 And she is desperate to get out。 I admired her spirit and her will to just go on and on。 Even if it is a dangerous and lonely road。Then they meet again， and it is like those years apart never happened。 Yes it was fast， but this was a second chance。 They never wanted to part in the first place， of course it happens fast。And then there is the danger following her， luckily Jace has a bunch of awesome friends who all are highly trained and willing to help。I enjoyed it， it felt really light and I listened to it fast。 Estrella is always good， her voice makes the pages just fly by， and she has great voices for everyone 。。。more

This is the third book in the series that I have read so far。 And it is as good as the other two。 I loved everything about Jace and his love， protection， and determination he had for Taryn。 Then we find out all she has been through the last five years along with her struggle to protect her sister， and I loved her too。 But them coming back together was if time never passed。 Their connection was intense and solid。 They both had the same initial feelings that withstood time。 Their joining is beauti This is the third book in the series that I have read so far。 And it is as good as the other two。 I loved everything about Jace and his love， protection， and determination he had for Taryn。 Then we find out all she has been through the last five years along with her struggle to protect her sister， and I loved her too。 But them coming back together was if time never passed。 Their connection was intense and solid。 They both had the same initial feelings that withstood time。 Their joining is beautiful。 The action in this book is intense。 I wish there would have been a little more comeuppance with the villains， but I am satisfied with the ending and the happiness Jace and Taryn were finding。Although now I want a book for Ryan and Brick。 Those will be off the charts amazing。 I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher。 。。。more

What an ending。 The sister， Payton， was a surprise。 The book is a nice romance with a big dose of mystery。 it is amazing how far Taryn will go to protect her family。 The story is interesting and yet there are places you just want to shut your eyes and hope she makes better choices。 I liked the book。

A Cowboy Kind of Love is a second chance of love romantic suspense story and the 6th in the Sons of Texas series。 Jace Wilder is having a hard time getting over his heartbreak when Taryn left 5 years ago。 Now she is back and asking for help in a very dangerous situation she finds herself in。 Jace listens to Taryn’s explanation of what she’s had to do and endure these last 5 years for her family， and will try to extract her from the clutches of a drug lord。 Between his and his friends military ex A Cowboy Kind of Love is a second chance of love romantic suspense story and the 6th in the Sons of Texas series。 Jace Wilder is having a hard time getting over his heartbreak when Taryn left 5 years ago。 Now she is back and asking for help in a very dangerous situation she finds herself in。 Jace listens to Taryn’s explanation of what she’s had to do and endure these last 5 years for her family， and will try to extract her from the clutches of a drug lord。 Between his and his friends military experience， they devise a plan to help both Taryn and Jace， and maybe they have a chance at a life together。This was a riveting suspense story and I was engrossed to see how they were going to get out of this mess。 The odds weren’t good and it took a lot of planning to get the right people in the right place in order to pull it off。 What made the story sweeter was the love these two had for one another and still have 5 years later。 The romantic scenes were smoldering and broke up the tension they were facing。 There are a lot of characters that are involved in this story， and they have their own stories， but it isn’t hard to follow。 It definitely can be read as a stand-alone。 Donna Grant’s writing is one of the best for drawing you in to the drama， suspense and the building of a loving relationship。 There may not be much of a cowboy in Jace but he definitely has the values of one。 It is a story that can’t be missed。Review copy provided for a voluntary review。 。。。more

It was great being back in Clearview， Texas to read about Jace Wilder and Taryn Hillman！Jace was left pining for Taryn for five years， he can't move on！ Ryan gets Jace home and while he is trying to find the keys， Jace totally inebriated somehow manages to get himself inside。 His door was unlocked， which didn't concern him at the time， and as he made his way to the living room where he saw a shadow that appeared to be Taryn， then she was gone。After stopping at an intersection， he swore that Tary It was great being back in Clearview， Texas to read about Jace Wilder and Taryn Hillman！Jace was left pining for Taryn for five years， he can't move on！ Ryan gets Jace home and while he is trying to find the keys， Jace totally inebriated somehow manages to get himself inside。 His door was unlocked， which didn't concern him at the time， and as he made his way to the living room where he saw a shadow that appeared to be Taryn， then she was gone。After stopping at an intersection， he swore that Taryn pulled up next to him， and he attempted to follow but lost the vehicle。 Thinking he was seeing things， he returned to the intersection where he last thought he saw her and traveled down the back roads discovered the vehicle parked at a hotel。 He follows her to a restaurant， and after five years comes face to face with her。 He didn't get the answers he sought。Taryn didn't want to leave five years ago but didn't have much of a choice。 Now she's back in Clearview on a mission， Taryn is in trouble and requires a lot of money to complete her task。 She calls a man， that she never wanted to see again， except she fails miserably at the task he entrusts her with。 All her cards are exposed， where even the guys she is willing to turn to for help， send her on her way。 There is one man that she knows will help her， although she is fully aware of the risks of him doing so。 She is out of options and heads to see Jace。 Once Jace hears Taryn out， he realizes that Taryn didn't abandon him， and he's going to get her the cash but despite her protesting， Jace is going to see her through this because he lost her once and he's not going to lose her again。 It's become his mission and his friends who are more like his brothers put a plan together。 Despite the risks to themselves， it's all for one and one for all！Jace and Taryn's love is enduring that despite all they've gone through， each never forgot the other。 I love how the others jumped on board while accepting Taryn as one of their own。 It goes to show that family doesn't always have to be blood。 The ending hinted that the others were going to play matchmaker for Ryan， who after his divorce doesn't want a relationship so I'm hoping that means another book in the series！ I requested and received an ARC from NetGalley via St。 Martin's Press and I have voluntarily reviewed this book。 。。。more

What A Story！Such a great tale of overcoming the odds and getting the HEA。 Twists the reader never saw coming。 Would have read it in one day but I had to get some sleep， as it was I was short on sleep for a few days。
