Once again this is unlike any other story I have read and that makes it all that much more interesting when you don't know the ending and can't really tell from the beginning what is going to happen and where the story is going to take you。 I love reading James Patterson books because of that fact， they are all different and you can't guess where they are going to go！Dr。 Savage is on sabbatical from the University of Chicago。 He had put in for his time to be approved and had not。heard anything a Once again this is unlike any other story I have read and that makes it all that much more interesting when you don't know the ending and can't really tell from the beginning what is going to happen and where the story is going to take you。 I love reading James Patterson books because of that fact， they are all different and you can't guess where they are going to go！Dr。 Savage is on sabbatical from the University of Chicago。 He had put in for his time to be approved and had not。heard anything about it until all the sudden one day it is approved and it starts immediately。 When he is on his way out， he is captured and taken to a place that is very interesting。 Dr。 Savage has no idea why he is being taken captive or what his captor might want with him。When Dr。 Savage is put in this cage that his captor keeps him in， he knows that he is not going to be able to escape it。 As soon as he gets to the captors place， he is put through some rigorous tests to find out his capabilities and where Meed needs to start training him。 The things that Meed tells him he is going to be capable of blows Dr。 Savages mind and he thinks there is no way possible that he will be able to do that。 Meed makes these nasty green drinks for Dr。 Savage to drink and there is no choice of whether he wants to drink them or now。 He has to。 The whole time Meed is training Dr。 Savage and conditioning him to be able to do these certain tasks， you ask yourself what she is doing and what she is training him for。， Meed does not give Dr。 Savage many chances to learn things about her and her past， so it is just a guessing game。 Meed herself is a very fit person and can take care of herself if needed。 This story will keep you guessing as to what is going to happen and what is going on。 I couldn't put it down and was anxious to find out what was really going on。 This is a great read that I am sure everyone will love。 I highly recommend this read！I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and all opinions are my own。 Thanks to NetGalley， the publisher and the author's for an advanced copy of this book。 。。。more

4。5 ⭐First time I've read these authors and based solely on The Perfect Assassin， I feel fairly confident saying at least one of these authors will write more NY Times bestsellers than anyone。 Just a hunch。 With the bookkeeping out of the way， I loved The Perfect Assassin。 Dr。 Brandt Savage is a professor of Anthropology and appears to be as dorky as you would expect。 Savage is looking forward to playing in the dirt during his sabbatical but before he can don his overalls he is kidnapped off the 4。5 ⭐First time I've read these authors and based solely on The Perfect Assassin， I feel fairly confident saying at least one of these authors will write more NY Times bestsellers than anyone。 Just a hunch。 With the bookkeeping out of the way， I loved The Perfect Assassin。 Dr。 Brandt Savage is a professor of Anthropology and appears to be as dorky as you would expect。 Savage is looking forward to playing in the dirt during his sabbatical but before he can don his overalls he is kidnapped off the street。 by a beautiful woman， Meed。 What follows is a fast paced thriller with incredible characters， fun dialogue， and a story just weird enough to keep you on your toes。 There was very little I didn't like about The Perfect Assassin。 Patterson and Sitts take a familiar trope and turn it on its head。 I'm not sure who the perfect assassin is referring to considering there is a smorgasbord of elite assassins in the book。 There is a vagueness in The Perfect Assassin that works to the story's advantage。 Not to mention someone gets "Mr。 Myagi-ed" which is always fun。The Perfect Assassin is a perfect beginning of a new series with oodles of potential。 I can't wait to see what these 'new authors" have in store for Savage and Meed。My sincere thanks to James Patterson and Brian Sitts， Grand Central Publishing， and NetGalley for the opportunity to read a galley of The Perfect Assassin。 。。。more

Someone steals babies and raises them as cold stone assassins in Russia。 Mead was stolen from her parents， but she was raised in a compound where she learned 007 stuff。 As an adult， she wants revenge on the “school” and she enlists the help of a local college professor。 Pretty good read that I enjoyed。
