Defy is a MFM dark romance！ This is the first book that I have read by this author。 This is one of my favorite genre’s， MFM。 This is Katrina， Ryder and Styx’s story。 Katrina is a high school student and Ryder and Styx are part of an MC。 Both Ryder and Styx belong to the same MC that Katrina’s brother， Diesel， belongs to。 Diesel and Katrina’s mother isn’t doing well。This is a forbidden romance。 There were parts that I loved and some that I didn’t。 I found that I didn’t fall in love with the story Defy is a MFM dark romance！ This is the first book that I have read by this author。 This is one of my favorite genre’s， MFM。 This is Katrina， Ryder and Styx’s story。 Katrina is a high school student and Ryder and Styx are part of an MC。 Both Ryder and Styx belong to the same MC that Katrina’s brother， Diesel， belongs to。 Diesel and Katrina’s mother isn’t doing well。This is a forbidden romance。 There were parts that I loved and some that I didn’t。 I found that I didn’t fall in love with the story and had a difficult time connecting。 It could have been that I was reading until early hours in the morning。 I am not exactly sure， why。。 I will look for something else to read by this author because I certainly love the genre’s that she writes。 In the meantime I am going to rate this book with 3。5 stars。 。。。more

Holy Hotness 🤤I’ve been so excited for this book as I’m a big fan of the series。 And reading the preview in Dare was priceless！ This picks up right where Dare ends and we follow Kat’s struggle with her Mom’s illness and coping with her loneliness。 Styx and Ryder are sexy， alpha men who don’t hold back。 I enjoyed all the steamy scenes except I wish the scene that was alluded to in the epilogue would happen 😍It was great seeing the crew again and bittersweet knowing the series is over。

3。5 starsI really did like Kat's story。 I liked the characters， the setting， and the majority of the storyline。 The scenes with mom， hit me hard。 I could see why Kat was doing what she was doing， and all that jazz。 Ryder and Styx both intrigued me， and had me wondering how this trio's relationship would work out。Having read River's series， and Sadie's series， I was expecting something along those lines。 I was expecting the suspenseful element。 You know that storyline that pulls you in， and has y 3。5 starsI really did like Kat's story。 I liked the characters， the setting， and the majority of the storyline。 The scenes with mom， hit me hard。 I could see why Kat was doing what she was doing， and all that jazz。 Ryder and Styx both intrigued me， and had me wondering how this trio's relationship would work out。Having read River's series， and Sadie's series， I was expecting something along those lines。 I was expecting the suspenseful element。 You know that storyline that pulls you in， and has you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to find out how it's all going to be resolved。 It wasn't there。 The potential was there though。 I thought for sure that the history surrounding one character would have been further explained， and that would have lead to more。 That it would have brought on the drama， or built up the suspense。 That storyline not being closed is also bugging me a smidgen。Still， all in all， Kat's story fit well into the Sinners series （both Savage Falls and Red Ridge）， and I am curious to see if Caitlyn Dare has us returning to this setting。 （I'm hoping to return！） 。。。more
